Chapter 33 - Chapter 12: Sensei

Sue had no idea what this strange guy was thinking. First he asked her to teach him archery then he challenged the best Elfen Bow Masters in the country to a contest of his choose she guessed it was true what they say people are as crazy as they dress. "Ok we're here now what's the challenge going to be?" Akira smiled and pointed to the target. "Why your going to stop me from hitting that target, but first I want to see your skills." The Bow Masters and Sue all stepped up to show their skills with the Bow Master firing three magic arrows each while Sue hit the target three times dead center. This intrigued Akira "Wow three in a row that's impressive Sue." She looked at him confused "All I did was fire normal arrows at a target that's not anything special." "Ya she didn't use any magic arrows." "Mainly because she doesn't know how to create them." "I know how to create them I just don't have the skills to do so." The Bow Masters kept laughing as if that was going to change anything. This only fueled Akira rage at them "Ok now let's start the challenge, but if you want to succeed you can't move from the spot I choose." He had asked a bystander to put a scarecrow in the spot he designated. Which was right in front of the target. "Wait we have to stand there?" Akira smiled wickedly at them "What did you think this was going to be easy?" He raised his left hand and grabbed his bow from the air he pulled the string back and an arrow appeared on his bow string. "Now godly arrow strike my targets." He let go and the arrow went straight through the scarecrow hitting the target leaving a giant hole in the scarecrow. This now terrified the participants "Is this guy insane?" "How in the world are we supposed to survive that?" "Hey all you have to do is stop this arrow from hitting the target." "You say that as if it's possible!" "Oh are you going to forfeit? I guess that makes sense considering that you Bow Masters seemed to be very cowardly!" This irritated their leader she looked like she was about to turn Akira into a pin cushion. "Want us to humiliate you this bad fine then will you at least let me ready an arrow to fire?" "Yes but it can only be one try oh and if you fail to stop it or move out of the way you forfeit." Akira once again prepared an arrow "Godly arrow pierce my target." He let it fly the Elf responded with "Counter Arrow!" The arrows flew towards one another, but the Elf's arrow was completely destroyed and as Akira's arrow got closer the archer feel to ground just as it past over her head into the target at which it disappeared. Akira glared down at her. "How disappointing I thought you would know your arrows!" This made the gears inside Sue's head turn she thought about what he said about knowing arrows and thought about his wording for his arrow. One by one the Bow Masters failed to pass with only two others getting an arrow off before ducking, but Sue felt confident about what was going on. "So do you want to try it?" Sue looked at Akira "Yes" "Well then prove what you know." Sue stood where everyone before her stood she stared at Akira as he pulled back on the string again saying "Godly arrow pierce my target." Sue stood her ground "I'm not going to move." "And why's that?" He released the arrow "I won't move because I'm not the arrows target!" As it reached her it hit her chest and disappeared. Akira was amazed by her conviction and how she had figured out his whole challenge. "Wait what the hell how did that arrow not kill you?" Sue smirked at her rival "Because a godly arrow can only harm its target. As the arrow uses the archers mind to figure out what is the target and if you don't speak it clearly you won't hit your main target so if you want it to hit you say pierce my targets." "Well done I guess you all see that reading isn't a waste off times as she knew my arrow just from a description of it from something she read and she listen to my words carefully." Sue had a smile on her face as no one had given her chance moreover she never gave herself a chance to prove herself. "Bastard you cheated!" The other elves were starting to get angry. Akira was preparing for anything that would happen next , but all of a sudden "Hey *hic* Sue their you are I've been *hic* looking everywhere for you." Sue glared at her sister "Emily did you look everywhere or did you spend the past few minutes drinking then came out here to find me." Emily didn't meet her eyes "Of course *hic* not." The two of them stood there going back and forth about who did what. Until the leader of the Elfen Bow Masters got really annoyed "Would you two just shut up already I mean seriously we were having an argument over here!" "Well if you call someone a 'cheating bastard' then yes we were having an argument. Well I guess in this circumstance...." he was continuing his thought when an arrow hit him in the shoulder. He pulled it out much to the surprise of the Bow Masters. He then sighed "Seriously a poison arrow? You know to be honest I really wasn't going to do much if it had been a warning shoot, but considering it's a poison arrow now I'm going to have to kill you!" Akira pulled out his swords and looked at his opponents shock expressions. "Your him your the hero who killed Fafnir and murdered the Demi-human prince after tearing up Hjälte!" "Ok the Fafnir thing was all me, but I executed the prince as it was order by the Queen herself so.." "Please we're sorry this won't happen again!" "Well I already have my swords out so sor... HEY GET BACK HERE!" The elf's fled hoping that he wouldn't follow. "I would go after them, but I don't want my first adventure into a new country to..." Akira then looked at the ground "Well shit you two might want to take cover." Sue and Emily both got to safe distance before the arrow at Akira's feet exploded Akira got up after words dazed, but alive. "Ow" Sue ran over to him "Are you ok?" "Ya that wasn't to bad I've been hit with worse." "So your powerful hero I'm guessing?" "Yep" "And do you still want me to help you with archery." "Yes I do I have the skills to fire magic arrows and you have the know how for me to learn them and the training to teach me how to fire a bow properly. So will you become my Sensei?" Sue smile and put her hand out in front of her "Yes I will." The two of them shock hands and formed a contract "That's great Sue *hic* I'll go pack for the trip." "I don't think that'll be necessary." "Oh it will be. "And why is that?" "My sister owns a wagon so it should make getting around much cheaper." "Ok now I need to...." "Need to what?" Akira heard a familiar voice behind him "Are there three angry looking girls right behind me?" Sue nodded and he sighed "Before you start she is my sensei and nothing else." Morgan, Mia, and Ella just glared at him "Oh and what does sensei mean Sojiro?" "I think the word you'd use is teacher." The three of them sighed in relief "Oh good I thought we had to punish you for adding another girl to the party." Akira smacked his face "Come on let's get going before the authorities come to find out why there's a huge fucking crater in the center of town."
