There he was. He was imprisoned in a POW camp. Then, Magnus came with an army and took out all the guards. Emmanuel was saved and reunited with one of his best friends.
"What happened to you? Last time I saw you was back at home! How did you get captured?"
"I was assigned to the armor division and was the gunner of my tank. As soon as I got into battle, our engine was shot, rendering us immobile. Once we couldn't move, we were sitting ducks, and so we surrendered when the battle took a turn for the worse.", Emmanuel answered Magnus, obviously having gotten his conscription notice.
"So, you're a tank gunner, eh? I could use you! Nice seeing you, but we need to win this war. The quickest way I see now is marching this army that I somehow assembled and laying waste to the Western border of Deutschland. Go, get in the tank. One of my buddies is the driver and will spearhead this whole ordeal.", Magnus said, still surprised that one of his best friends from high school was here.
"Hold up, this army isn't supplied or lead by a commanding officer?! Did the war make you crazy?! How are we supposed to win the war without any food or drink or guns or ammo?!", Emmanuel interrogated, not seeing how any of this was going to be possible.
"Just trust me.", Magnus said, recalling his first death of getting crushed by a plane crash. "I'll get us through this, it will work. We will win this war!"
This last part Magnus shouted, causing the mass of around 100 people not in formation any longer to shout "Hurrah!" and "Yeah!"
Magnus went to the tank and told Amicus to go to the cabin in the closest corner, and went to the highest ranking officers of the UPC army and the Gaul army and went inside of the cabin, closing the doors behind him. During the battle, someone had found a map of Deutschland, giving them perspective.
Magnus had landed in the central north area of Deutschland, and he and Amicus headed northeast to find a car. Deciding that a tank was better, they headed east from there. Then they headed west with the tank to the first POW camp. Heading southwest, they made it to the second POW camp, this camp.
Being situated in the northwest part of Deutschland, they had just head south and west, they would reach the ocean. Thus, they decided that, with their army, they would assault any factory or camp they came across.
The non-Administrator related fellows understood that Magnus was somewhat invincible, so they decided that he and Amicus would draw fire with the tank and a unit of fifteen men would back the tank up. A reserve unit of 60 units would surround the target and a unit of 25 men would be back up, obscuring themselves in the environment so they would be seen, but could still neutralize targets. They had four radios, one for the tank commander, Amicus, one for the leader of the infantry, Magnus, one for the leader of the back up, the UPC lieutenant, and one for the leader of the 60, the Gaul lieutenant.
Having strategized thus, they went out and gathered up their respective forces, each man knowing their role and able to fulfill it. Amicus and Emmanuel got in the tank, and Magnus got on the outside, manning the automatic gun on the top. That was his position as leader of the infantry.
They went forward boldly, heading south. The first thing they came upon was a munitions plant. Following the plan they had devised, all went well, until...
"Amicus! Take the tank inside the plant!", Magnus shouted from atop the tank. Amicus heard the shouts and did as instructed. The infantry men followed, easily subduing the men with pistols inside the factory.
The workers were slaughtered. Then, shouting was heard over the radio. The reserves surrounding the plant had spotted a group of tanks coming this way. They were approaching the munitions plant. A few explosions were heard, but they stopped.
Then a Deutsche Platoon of tanks arrived outside the plant, firing shots at the tank controlled by Magnus through the open door of the factory. The division surrounded building with the fifteen men and the tank inside, while one of the four tanks went around shooting any more soldiers it saw, putting a dent in Magnus' reserve numbers.
This was the worst thing that could happen to Magnus at the moment, as their tank didn't have nay armor-piercing rounds. All they had were a few hand-grenades scavenged, but most of those were used by the reserve trying to fend off the tanks.
The Deutsche armors had slaughtered about half of the reserve division, 30 men, UPC and Gaul.
All Magnus had left were the men in the squad of 25, providing support by acting as essentially what were poorly equipped snipers, the 15 infantry units, and the tank, along with those inside. He also had the 30 men outside, but without any contact.
Magnus observed the situation he was in. He did the math, only 40 armed men in direct contact, 30 more unreachable at the moment, around 15 hand-grenades, and 4 angry Deutsche tanks to fend off.
Thinking as hard as he could, he tried to use his Administrative powers to analyze the tanks. He didn't have much time, so he focused as hard as he could. Within 8 seconds, he had the tanks armor scheme down. He could penetrate the armor with the main gun on his tank, but it would take some accurate and precise shooting.
Opening the hatch and shouting down to Emmanuel, he said, "Emmanuel! Don't stop shooting! Just aim for the plate directly below the turret facing forwards!"
Putting all of his trust in his high school friend, Magnus jumped off of the tank, and ran.
One of the four tanks approached the door of the factory, Magnus took a rifle from on of the 15 and ran around the back. He ran through the main door, and out of the factory, past the tank. The tank turned its gun to shoot at Magnus, and the other three aimed at him too.
