Chapter 48 - Chapter 48 Combat Medic

As morning came Thomas stood up as he let out a sigh of relief and mumbled "She didn't mess with my tail long enough for it to effect my balance." Thomas looked at Lily, Scarlett, and Daisy as he said "I should probably wake then so we can get a move on." As Thomas shouted "Rise and shine!" They all turned and stared at him as they asked "Are we finally leaving?" Thomas nodded and walked out the door as he said "I'll be waiting for you all outside." Before he left he pointed to his cloak and said "You can use that until I can make you your own." Daisy yawned as she said "Thank you." Thomas walked out of the inn as he said "Don't mention it." As they all met outside of the inn they started to head down the opposite side of the mountain as Daisy asked "Where are we going?" Lily and Scarlett stared at her as they both excitedly shouted "Helios the town in the sky!" Thomas stared at them as he mumbled "They probably don't realize this but the reason not many humans can get up their is due to it not having a way up besides flying." Thomas looked off into the distance as he seen the rising sun and said "I have a fun idea." Lily, Scarlett, and Daisy all stared at him as they asked "What's your idea?" Thomas took a step back and ran and jumped off the cliff as he shouted "I'll meet you at the bottom!" As Thomas jumped they all began to panic as they said "We have to make it down quickly!" After witnessing Thomas jump off the mountain they all began to rush down the mountain as they all panicked wandering if he survived. As they all reached the bottom of the mountain they seen Thomas sleeping next to a sign that read "The mountain may be dangerous at night tread carefully." As they approached Thomas they all yelled "Why would you scare us all like that?" As they yelled Thomas woke up and stared at them as he sat up and asked "What did I do?" Lily stared at him as she yelled "Seal zap him!" As the seal zapped Thomas he rolled around on the ground as he said "Fine I get it you win." Lily stared at him as she said "Seal stop." Once Thomas stopped getting electrocuted Scarlett asked him "What was your idea?" Thomas stood up as he said "I'm glad you asked." Thomas pointed at Daisy as he said "The reason I jumped off of the mountain was so that I could set up a quick sparring circle so I can witness your abilities first hand!" Daisy looked shocked as she said "I don't really have any fighting abilities." Thomas tossed her a blade as it landed in front of her he said "That doesn't matter just come at me with the intent to kill." Daisy looked down at the blade as she picked it up and said "But I don't want to hurt you." Thomas stared at her as he said "You won't even be able to come close to me with an attitude like that." Daisy began to walk towards Thomas nervously as she swung the blade at Thomas. As the blade got closer to Thomas he smirked as grabbed it and turned it back at her and said "I told you to give me everything you got." Scarlett stared at him startled as she said "But I don't want to hurt anyone." Thomas shrugged as he said "Sometimes to protect a life you have to take one although I normally try to avoid this." Thomas stared at Scarlett and Lily as he asked "Would you two like to attempt hitting me?" Lily and Scarlett both unsheathed their weapons as they shouted "We won't go easy on you!" Thomas stared at them as he said "Here's the rules it'll be you three against me and the winners can command me to do any one thing they want me to do without any complaint." They all agreed to the rules as Daisy asked "Will it really be okay if we hit you?" Thomas nodded as he said "Of course it'll be fine besides I've been completely impales before so I wouldn't worry about a minor flesh wound." Daisy stared at him as she shouted "That's nothing to brag about." Thomas shrugged as he said "You'll all have ten minutes to attack me and if any of you land even a single hit you win." Thomas smirked as he shouted "Begin!" As they all charged at him he stood their as he said "Looks like your all having an aggressive start." As Scarlett swung her sword down Thomas stepped to the side to dodge it and ducked under Lily's dagger as he said "At least you two are cooperating with one another." Thomas stepped back as Scarlett lifted her sword and pointed it at him as she said "We will win this!" Thomas sat down as he mumbled "Scarlett and Lily are doing good so far." Thomas looked around as he mumbled "Where did Daisy go?" Thomas began to sniff the air as his eyes opened wide he noticed that Daisy's smell was coming from behind him. Thomas quickly teleported behind her as he said "You know if I couldn't smell you, you would've actually hit me." Daisy quickly turned around and slashed at him as he dodged it and said "See you can hit me if you go at me with the intent to kill." Thomas yawned as he held up his hands as he said "Eight minutes remain." Thomas watched as Daisy began to run towards him as she reached into her bag and pulled out perfume as she began to spray it while she ran at him. Thomas say down as he said "I suppose it's time to get a little more serious." As Daisy swung her blade down at Thomas he unsheathed his other blade and blocked the attack as he said "Your pretty crafty aren't you." She smiled as she said "So you already know what I'm doing?" Thomas smirked and teleported behind her as he said "Of course your trying to use the perfume to mess with my sense of smell." Thomas stared at the three of them as he said "Now that I can't smell you I'm gonna have to take this a bit more seriously." Scarlett and Lily looked at each other and nodded as they both ran towards Thomas while swinging their blades at him. Thomas continued to step backwards while blocking and dodging their attacks. Scarlett yelled "Just sit still already." Thomas continued to dodge and block them as he noticed that he lost track of Daisy. Thomas began to sniff the air but was only able to smell the perfume that Daisy had sprayed as he mumbled "I gotta think of something quick." Thomas stared at Lily and Scarlett as he leaned back and under Daisy's blade as he said "Did you really think I wouldn't suspect you to try the same thing?" Thomas teleported away as he held up one hand and said "Five minutes remain." Scarlett and Lily stared at Daisy as they huddled up and began to plan their next attack. After talking for about three minutes Thomas walked over towards them and whispered into Lily's ear "What are you three talking about?" Lily quickly attempted to stab him as he dodged as she said "We aren't talking about anything!" Thomas shrugged as he said "Then I guess you have your plan." Scarlett charged at Thomas as she shouted "Our plan can't fail!" Thomas stood their as he blocked Scarlett's attacks. As Lily stood in the distance she began to fire water bolts at Thomas. While Thomas blocked Scarlett's sword and dodged the water bolts he kept looking around for Scarlett as he mumbled "Is she really a doctor?" Thomas shrugged as he mumbled "Maybe she's a retired rouge." Thomas yawned as he said "Maybe I should handicap myself next time." Scarlett continued to swing her sword as she said "A handicap would be much appreciated." Just as Scarlett said this Thomas heard a twig snap behind him as he glanced to see what caused the sound but to his surprise he seen nothing but the twig snapped in two. Scarlett quit attacking as Thomas stared at her and mumbled "Time isn't up yet so what's their goal?" As Thomas turned back around he seen Daisy a few inches away from him getting ready to plunge the dagger into his chest. Before Thomas realized it he acted on a reflex and quickly sent her blade into the air with one quick swing. As the blade fell to the ground Thomas said "Time's up." Thomas picked up the other blade and handed it to Daisy as he said "It seems like you know how to use these so why don't you keep them." Daisy took the blades and thanked him as Thomas began to walk towards the next town as he mumbled "My next plan should be less exhausting."
