As morning came Thomas woke Lily and Scarlett up. After they were awake Thomas led them out of the town and to the foot of the mountain. Thomas looked up at the mountain as he said "This trip should only take a day." Lily and Scarlett stared at Thomas as they asked "Can we see the jackets you made yet?" Thomas reached into his satchel and pulled out a pink jacket that he tossed to Lily as he said "Theirs yours." Thomas reached back into the satchel and pulled out a red jacket as he held it up and said "This one is Scarlett's." Thomas handed her the jacket and then pulled out his new and improved cloak as he said "Now we're all set to climb the mountain!" Thomas began to walk towards the mountain as he looked at Lily and Scarlett as he said "You guys go on and use the path." They stared at him as they asked "What do you mean?" Thomas jumped on the mountain and started climbing as he said "I don't wanna rely on a spell next time I fight Toby so I'm gonna count this as a type of training."
Lily and Scarlett stared at him as Lily asked "Are you gonna be ok?" Thomas continued to climb as he yelled "Meet you at the top." Scarlett looked at Lily as she said "He isn't gonna answer your question." Lily and Scarlett waved at him as they began to walk around the mountain to the path that leads up it. Thomas continued to climb until he found a cave as he asked "What do we got here?" Thomas began to walk into the cave as he said "I was planning on just climbing the mountain but seems like my plans have changed." Thomas looked around as he said, "Magic's off the table so if things take a turn for the worst I can't teleport away." Thomas shrugged as he said, "What's the worst that could happen." Thomas walked further into the cave as he shouted "Echo!" As Thomas waited their he heard what he said repeat back to him as he mumbled "That is oddly fun." Thomas walked further into the cave as he stopped moving and smelled the air as he said "Animal?"
Thomas continued to walk towards the smell as he mumbled "Better kill whatever this is before it kills me." As Thomas walked closer to the smell he pulled out one of his blades as he whispered "I know you're there." Moments later Thomas heard a howling sound as he said "I knew I wasn't alone." Thomas crouched down to the ground as he slowly began to walk towards the sound as he mumbled "A stab a day keeps enemies at bay." As Thomas approached the creature he stood up completely behind it as he asked "Friend or foe?" As the creature turned around Thomas stared at it as he said "A wolf?" As Thomas stared at the wolf it jumped at Thomas and tried to bite him. As Thomas tried to dodge the wolf's teeth tore through the cloak. Thomas looked at his cloak as he said "I just fixed this up." Thomas stared at the wolf as he walked towards it and said "That's fine I'm sure your pelt will be more than enough to replace it."
As the wolf pounced at Thomas once more he swung his dagger and cut the wolf's throat. As its body hit the ground Thomas walked over to it as he said "Ruin my clothes and I'll ruin your fur." Thomas started to skin the wolf as he said "Ruin my fur and I'll make sure that you don't have anything left to ruin." After skinning the wolf Thomas rolled its pelt up and put it in his satchel. As Thomas stood up he smiled as he said "At least they waited for me to finish." Thomas looked around as he stuck his finger up and started to count. Thomas stared at each one of them as he held up his hand and said "seven more?" Thomas pulled out his other dagger as he asked "How much does a wolf pelt even sell for?" Thomas shrugged as he said, "Who cares money is money and the pelt is money." The wolves began to charge at Thomas from all directions as Thomas panicked and said "Wait hold on all at once from all sides?" As three wolves pounced into the air Thomas ducked as they all passed over him as he stood up and said "Hold up this ain't fair their's only one of me!"
As Thomas looked around two more wolves ran towards Thomas's feet as he jumped over one as the other wolf bit his arm as he said "One wolf two wolves bad wolf." Thomas turned around as he began to run and seen all seven wolves chasing him. As Thomas ran he looked at his arm as he yelled "Holy hell that's bleeding a lot!" Thomas continued to run towards the entrance of the cave as he yelled "Mountains suck!" Thomas turned around as he saw that the wolves were gaining on him as he yelled "Bad wolf very very bad wolf." Thomas continued to run as his arm continued to leave a blood trail that followed behind him. Thomas stopped running as he turned to the wolves and jumped at them as he yelled "You'll never take me alive!" As Thomas neared the wolves he punched one and said "I'm taking some of you with me." Thomas stared at three wolves witch were now running at him as he smiled and jumped over them while stabbing one in the back as he asked "Do you know the three little pigs?"
Thomas watched as the wolf fell to the ground as he said "Well I'm gonna huff and puff until there ain't no more of you." Thomas smiled as a wolf jumped at him as he grabbed it by the leg and slammed it against a wall with his uninjured hand as he said "Your lucky I don't have any magic right now other words you would be in a lot more trouble than me right now." Thomas ran at the wolves as they ran at him as he yelled "I won't lose to you!" As the wolves tried to bite Thomas he jumped over them and grabbed their tails as he began to pull on them." Once Thomas started to pull them he grinned as he began to spin and sing "Round and round we go!" As Thomas spun with them he let go and held his injured hand as he yelled "Holy hell that hurt!" Thomas stared at the wolves as they started to get up as he yelled "I already killed two of you!" As they stood up Thomas began to run as he yelled "Two isn't much considering theirs still six more of you!"
Thomas began to run as he yelled "Wall May beat wolf but only for a little while." Thomas ran to the entrance of the cave as he looked back and seen the wolves as he yelled "Why can't I escape you!" Thomas ran to the edge he had climbed up as he said "Up isn't much of an option." After staring down for a while Thomas heard the wolves growling at him as he turned around and nervously said "Did I say bad wolf?" Thomas looked back towards the cliff and then back towards the wolves as he nervously said "I meant to say good dog." As the wolves began to move closer and closer to Thomas he mumbled "Sit?" As the wolves walked closer and closer Thomas began to walk closer to the edge. Thomas looked off the edge once more as he turned to the wolves and jumped over them as he kicked one-off and started to run towards the cave as he jumped onto the wall the entrance was on and quickly started to climb as he yelled "I won't let some stupid wolf beat me!"
As Thomas climbed slightly higher than the wolves could reach Thomas reached with his injured hand as he grabbed the wall. As Thomas grabbed the wall Thomas's hand tensed up as he screamed out in pain as he said "I'd I let go now I'm as good as dead." Thomas turned back to the wolves as he began to ascend the mountain in pain as his still open wound dripped more and more blood." Once Thomas climbed to another small opening on the mountain he looked around as he sat down in the snow and reached into his satchel to pull out a piece of cloth as he tied it around the bite. As he patched the bite up he lied and back in the snow and looked up at the sky as he said "Although I nearly died it's pretty nice up here." After catching his breath Thomas sat up and began to climb the mountain once more as he said "Although climbing in my current state hurts like hell I can't sit around and make Lily and Scarlett worry any longer than I already have!"
