Chapter 22 - Demon God Nephilim, Part 2

The elf then proceeded to lead me to the elf village. Beauteous trees and herbs were already in an abundance on this landmass, however, as soon as we entered this village, I realised what abundance really meant.

Elves were a race that were meant to look beautiful. They lived longer than humans and they were always surrounded by beauty. As I passed through the old, creaking, wooden gate, I entered a land of unfathomable beauty.

Water passed over the mountains and formed a river through its valleys. The young children of the village were laughing and giggling while playing with the pure, transparent water. The elderly were meditating on the edges of town, while the birds chirped through the trees. Some, were farming in the rich soil, while others were praying to the large statue of the Elf God. The happiness of the people there, made even dirt look beautiful.

Shaina continued to walk beyond the huts that were present. After walking a considerable distance, she stopped as she gazed at the large elvish castle ahead of us. After a sigh, she entered through the door and I quietly followed her.

We climbed spiral stairs for quite some time and after doing so, we finally found our way to a room. The floor was covered with marble flooring and walls were embellished with gem stones. The whole room was either made from rocks or minerals. The desk in front of us, was made from solid rock, and was well decorated across the edges with silver and gold. However, the main decoration on the table was paper.

Piles of papers were lying there, moving slightly through the wind. Shaina walked towards the desk, and swung her right hand across the table, making thousands of papers fall. Then after tossing away piles and piles of papers, a cute, low-pitched childish voice emerged from the other side of the table. "Hey!!! Why'd you do that?! Do you know how much time that took to arrange?!"

A young child was sitting on a chair behind the desk. Just like the elf, she had blonde hair, and light blue eyes. However, her hair was straight and she was half as tall as Shaina. She wore slightly lose green shirt, and about 5 expensive-looking necklaces.

To the child's words, Shaina responded, "Shut up you old hag!! We're going to be invaded by demons any moment now!"

Old hag? Shaina's words were rather contrary to the child's appearance. She might have accidentally said this. I shrugged my head and went with the flow.

The child calmly responded, "Demons? What did you now?"

With a cute yet angry face, Shaina slammed the table, and spoke, "I took care of the whole village for day to hear these compliments?!!"

The loli patted Shaina on the head and spoke, "Now, now, it's always ok for you to make a mistake. Don't worry, I'll take care of it."

Shaina responded, "But I didn't even do it!!! It was all this human's fault!" She moved her hand to point towards me.

After listening to the angry elf, the child spoke, "By the way, what is this human doing here?"

Shaina's temper subsided, and she started thinking about the matter. She looked towards me with judgemental eyes, "I don't know... Why is this human here to begin with?"

After hearing their melodramatic way of speaking, I decided to break the ice. "Why I am here is not the matter at hand. First, we will have to deal with the wrath of the demons before we proceed to talk in such a manner."

While looking at me the little elf spoke, "Ah! So you broke the seal."

"Yes. And we have to deal with it NOW."

"It'll take the Demon God a year to revive. As for his henchmen, they'll slowly revive one by one. This has happened before, so dealing with it isn't as hard as you think."

While looking at Shaina, the child continued, "I'm guessing you didn't tell him about this."

In a goofy attitude, Shaina nervously smiled.

In the deepest voice she could manifest, the child spoke, "Leave the human here for now. I'll deal with him."

Shaina bowed down to show that she obliged with the order, and soon left the castle.

"Now human God, I shall tell you about the story behind the seal. If you choose not to listen, you will be pardoned so do not fret."

I responded, "Tell me the story fast. I no longer have the patience to talk to a CHILD." My eyes glowed red, as I looked down on the little elf.

The loli elf in return, surrounded herself with a malicious aura. "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!"

Even after seeing her cute face turn red with anger, I still took my stand. They had wasted the time I could have spent training, and of all things, Shaina introduced me to a child instead of the necessary forces required.

The little elf moved her childish hand in a manner as if she was calling me to come closer. I walked towards the angry little elf, and stood there. In a second, the elf leapt out of her chair, and slapped me as hard as she could. The force behind the slap was far too much. I hit the wall next to me and passed through it, falling off of the castle. After landing on the ground with a broken skull, I ate a Red Flare Herb and walked back up to the room.

After realising how powerful she was, I asked, "Who are you again?"

"I am the Demon God, Nephilim."
