As the van entered the underground parking lot, I noticed a lanky man waiting for us just as the van parked.
What surprised me was his respectful attitude while the Noonas and me were getting off the car. I mean, he was already a successful artist, as well as a great producer.
While Noonas were still rookies after all.
Father was the first one to interrupt the silence.
— I think it's better if we inmediately head there, and practice at the place, don't you think? — he said while sporting that weird smile of his.
All the Noonas simply nodded, how could they oppose him, also, What was there to oppose?, that was the most logical action as well.
Father once again said.
— Well, why don't you give me some minutes while I help Chris-ah install himself? Yesterday, he didn't have enough time to familiarize himself with the building. — he said that last part while looking at me.
I deeply bowed expressing my thanks. At this moment, Hwangbo noona interrupted.
— Sunbaenim, I'm really grateful of you taking care of Chris-ah. — He deeply bowed to father, and the other Noonas followed her and did the same.
— Nothing to be thankful for — He dismissed their bows, and made me follow him around the building.
We got to the first floor, and introduced me to the two staff members present.
It seems the pretty lady at the counter, that was the receptionist was called Lee Mi Kyong. On the other hand, the bulky man with a rough face, was one of the security guards that had a shift today. His name being Song Mal Chin.
While introducing himself, he even went to the extent of explaining his name for me, apparently his name means to persist to the end, and judging by his introduction, he really does follow that idea.
By the first floors, there were a couple of what Father called "Trainee rooms".
The Building was quite big, I don't know exactly how big, but definitely each floor had more space that the house the Noonas were living.
Each "Trainee room" was a big empty space, all adorned with what looked like light wood floor and full of big mirrors that covered one of the walls of the door. Also, each one had their own bathrooms and a couple of study rooms, or even group study rooms.
These Trainee rooms occupied all of the first floor, with the exception of the lobby of course.
By the second floor, there were the executive offices, this floor was quite big, there were countless offices, and the names of the executives were plastered on the doors of each office, knowing exactly which one corresponded to whom.
All of them were similar to Hyung's one. Usually just furnished by a big wood or glass desk, and a couple of bookcases filled with all kind of books and files. By the end of the floor, there were the bathrooms, and a little kitchen like zone, with some shelves filled with disposable cups and plates, as well as a water dispenser.
Finally, we arrived to the third floor...
Apparently, this was where I was going to live from now on, thanks to father, I would be able to live here from now on.
The first thing you notice when you get to this floor was that it was quite dark. In this floor was where some of the magic ocurred. There were actually two recording studios in this floor, one on each side of the building. In this way, once you got to the third floor, there was a mini lobby that lead to a hallway with two doors, one on the left and one on the right, each one leading to a recording room.
I mean... I don't know the standards, but I thought this building was quite good for a 2 year company.
Anyway, Father let me temporarily stay at the recording room of the right by night. By the day, Father expected me to be at the trainee roms, or in a study room by the first floor.
Actually, Father insisted multiple times during the short tour that I stayed with him, but I simply couldn't accept.
He is already taking care of me, I don't even know the reason he's doing it, I couldn't possibly put more burden on him. Not to mention that he's already married, I don't even know the woman, but I didn't want to interrupt in the life of a recently married couple.
So, that's it, I'm gonna live here from now on. Father did say that he would try to bring me to the company owned apartments that are usually available for the trainees.
I did insist that I was okay with everything, I mean, I've been living in a shack with just one room until a couple of months ago.
Right now, it was still early, people weren't at the company building yet. It would still be an hour before people they start arriving, so, after the tour ended, we went once again to the basement, and I said goodbye one last time to the Noonas.
They had glistening tears in their eyes, while hugging me.
It was quite good, I though, forme to have people to care that way about me, but it was scary when they didn't leave until I promised to visit them...
I couldn't promise it, and surprisingly, Hwangbo noona took it quite well.
I waited until the van once again abandoned the parking lot, thinking about the short but meaningful time we spent together.
I didn't have anything to do, as Father left with the girls, so I got to the first floor and went into one of the trainee rooms.
It was Monday, but because of my situation, I had to change my school. Father said he will take care of that, so I'll just wait for him to not as busy, I thought.
As I didn't have anything to do, I went into the center of the dance studio and sat down cross-legged, while looking directly at my reflection in the mirror.
For me, these moments of peace were quite relaxing....
Also, these moments allowed me to think about a lot of things, in this case, they let me think about my dream.
In this particular case, how could I accomplish it? ...
I mean, Park Do Joon won't actively search for me now that I'm with father, but once he sees me debut, or as a trainee, it will be my end.
He doesn't need to say very much, just my background of stealing would totally put me against the little fans I could have...
So, even if I become a trainee, it would have absolutely no meaning if Park Do Joon can ruin me that easily....
While I kept looking for a solution in my mind, I suddenly felt a tap on my shoulder.
I rapidly reacted and turned around, there was a tall young man, with a slightly tanned tone, small eyes and disheveled brown hair. I actually don't know if his hair was actually disheveled or just arranged that way, it looked kind of cool if I must say...
He was weirdly staring at me while saying.
— Are you a new trainee? Weren't you told? The introduction for new trainees was going to be at the third room.
He had a... unique voice, and each of his moves looked ... sharp... I don't know how to describe it...
It was simply... Different... Yeah, that's the word.
I was distracted by the first impression he gave me. He smiled at me. He had a really refreshing smile, almost like.... a big brother maybe? It was so reassuring. He then said with a smile on his face.
— You seem to be really, nervous, I still remember my first time here, quite pressuring if I must say so. So, my name is Jung Ji Hoon, and you are? — he had a really confident expression on his face.
He didn't seem that extroverted initially, but still, someone shy wouldn't start to talk with me like that, I guess.
— I'm Park Jangsu, call me Park Chris... — I didn't want to turn down his good intentions, so I simply answered, but I made a little clarification — I am not a new trainee though....Ji Hoon-ssi.
Jung Ji Hoon inmediately frowned, sat down next to me crosslegged, and then said.
— Then, what are you doing here if I may ask, also call me Hyung — he said while pointing at himself with his thumb.
I simply nodded and replied.
— I kind of... will live here from now on.
His slit like eyes widened and he said.
— Ohhh the rumors were true after all.
— Rumors? What rumors? — I curiously asked.
— Yesterday, someone overheard how PD-nim will take care of some little boy. Is that you?
How?.... Did someone overheard our conversation? Not that we tried to hide it with all of our crying....
I simply nodded at him.
He suddenly stood up and said, while dusting his pants.
— Well, I've got to train, Do you mind me practicing in this room?
I shook my head and signaled for him to don't mind me.
Meanwhile, I went to one side of the room and started spectating his training....
....It was absurdly terrifying... Hos could be someone look so smooth at dancing?
It was like his body moved responded to every beat that the song had.
Each and every beat meant a move of Hyung's body... quite a sight....
While he was dancing, I started to get agitated, and a slight burning sensation started to permeate my chest.... I thought " I want to try dancing so badly"
...
It's been already half an hour of this feeling appearing in my chest. It hasn't disappeared, in fact, it had gotten stronger.
At first I was quite calm, but now... my feet were starting to move involuntarily... Suddenly, the music stopped, and Hyung was staring directly at me with a cheeky smile. Then, he said.
— Want to try dancing? — he cockily asked.
Without noticing, a smile appeared on my face and I nodded....
What else did you expect me to do?...
