Chapter 1 - The beginning (Haru's P.O.V)

"Haru!! Let's go play!!" A small cheerful voice shouted from outside.

"I'm coming Hana!!" Another small cheerful voice shouted while running out of the door and meeting up with a girl. Her name was Hana Madoka a 7 year old with light brown hair which are put up in pigtails and hazel eyes while I, Haru Akiyama, was an 8 year old boy with dark brown hair that had a reddish tint and black eyes.

We were best friends and we were indeed inseparable. Hana and I were playing at the park like they always do and doing activities together and inviting other kids to join them to make it more fun. This time we were playing hide and seek and it was my turn to find everyone.

"Ready or not here I come!" I shouted loudly so they can hear him. I started looking in the easy places first and that's when I found Yadira and Akia hiding under the slides. I then moved onto harder places and found the twins Haruka and Haruna hiding under the cars which they knew were probably dangerous, but in the game hide and seek anyone can hide anywhere. Lastly I finally found Hana hiding inside the middle of the curly slide, but she was asleep. I didn't want to wake her up, so I carried her to the others.

"Hana fell asleep again didn't she?" Akia said with a smile.

"Yeah she did." I smiled.

"I don't blame her I was kinda getting tired too." Yadira stated while rubbing her eyes.

"Then that's a sign for all of us to head on home." Haruna and Haruka said in a unison.

Everyone said their goodbyes and left and luckily for me, I had to carry Hana home. We both don't live far away from each other in fact they live like a block away. I walked home with her in my arms and admired her while she was sleeping. I then felt his heart race a bit and realized I was blushing at the sight of my best friend. I panicked and couldn't explain my feelings to myself of what just happened, so I walked quicker and dropped her off at home and left.
