"Sweetie it's time to wake up. I made your favorite." Haru's mom said while opening his door.
Haru rubbed his eyes so he can see more clear and got out of bed and went to get ready to eat. His mom had made pancakes, bacon, eggs, and sausages. She even put out a glass of orange juice for him by his plate at the table.
"You made pancakes!!!" He shouted while running to the kitchen.
"I did sweetheart." His mom smiled.
"Hold up what's the occasion?" He asked while knowing something was up.
"Haru don't you remember we're moving today." She said while sitting him down on his seat and getting his plate ready.
"Oh yeah we are." He said sadly.
"Hey, don't be sad it'll be ok. You'll make new friends and you'll love our new house." She said in an excited voice.
"Okay mom and thanks for making pancakes this morning." He said smiling and eating his breakfast.
After finishing his food he went on to Hana's house to see her before he goes away. He knocked on the door waiting for someone to answer and there was her mom.
"Good morning Mrs. Madoka." He said smiling.
"Good morning Haru. Hana is at the kitchen eating her breakfast." She said letting him inside.
"Hey Hana!" He shouted excitedly.
"Hey Haru!" I shouted excitedly back.
"Hana I'm moving away today.." He said sadly while looking at the floor.
"What." I said in a confused voice.
"I'm moving. You won't see me again for awhile." He said walking over to me holding my hand.
"What do you mean?! We're supposed to be together forever..." I cried.
"I know, I'm sorry Hana, but it's not my choice." He said hugging me while stroking my hair.
"It's gonna be okay. We will see each other again I promise and when we do I'll be there waiting for you at the playground in the park okay." He said sadly trying not to cry.
I nodded and hugged him before he had to go. I then had an idea of a way to keep in touch with him until then.
"Haru, let's send letters to each other everyday, so we won't forget each other." I said while wiping my tears away.
"Okay." He said smiling.
"Pinky promise?" I asked holding out my pinky.
"Pinky promise." He smiled holding out his pinky.
We both intertwined their pinkies and said our goodbyes. I stood outside of my house watching Haru and his family packing the car. I watched them drive past my place waving goodbye. I waved back and watched them drive off into the distance and that was the last time I saw Haru.
