Chapter 12 - Chapter 10 - Young Noble

Right at that moment in time Li Fen felt that the World descended into slow motion, the Leader Grey Wolf's vicious strike, her Father's anxious expression as he hurriedly struck, everything stilled.

At this crucial moment in time her mind seemed to be moving at a fast speed, as it desperately comprehended the movement technique that was taught by Zhang Wei, under the pressure of life and death she felt the movement technique constantly replay within her mind in an attempt to break through to the next level.

At this moment Li Fen felt a sudden calmness as she entered a momentary feeling of comprehension as if the next steps of the movement skill which previously seemed to be troubling her, was answered.

'Ah, so that's how...' She thought, as the essence in her body began to circulate according to the pattern of the Zephyr Movement Skill as it finally broke through to Level 2.

With the advancement Li Fen now had the ability to evade the Lead Grey Wolf with Hui Bai despite the level difference, Li Fen knew beforehand it was her only hope in saving Hui Bai's life, because the Lead Grey Wolf was at the peak of the Apprentice Rank which was at a higher level of cultivation, in addition to the fact that at this moment in time she was still a child, her previous attainment in her movement skill wouldn't enable her in getting away without injury from the Lead Grey Wolf.

And Li Fen knew deep down the likelihood of a child such as Hui Bai who hasn't began his cultivation yet surviving such an injury was slim to none, which pressured Li Fen to the point of her finally breaking through her bottle neck in the movement skill to finally reach Rank 2.

The Lead Grey Wolf who felt as if its strike was about to land on the small humans suddenly felt a blur as both Hui Bai and Li Fen narrowly seem to move out the way of its strike.

An expression of shock emerged in the beasts eyes as it couldn't seem to comprehend how they managed to escape such a strike, but this momentary stupor was all Hui Bingweng needed as his full powered attack landed onto the Lead Grey Wolf.

The attack struck true, right on the Lead Grey Wolf's vital point, even if the Lead Grey Wolf were prepared at this moment in time it would be difficult to escape this situation alive.

After all even if there was a gap in cultivation levels, Hui Bingweng full powered strike still couldn't be taken lightly, and with the Lead Grey Wolf's momentary distraction it had no choice but to take Hui Bingweng's full powered blow.

A large gash was opened on the Lead Grey Wolf's Gide, narrowly missing its throat. But, this was still enough to bring about a life threatening injury to the Wolf, as the likelihood of it surviving in the wild with such an injury was unlikely, and that was if it even managed to get out of the battle alive.

A shriek of agony was let out by the Lead Grey Wolf, but the look of pain was quickly changed to a furious expression as it stared into Hui Bingwengs eyes with a look of fury.

The Lead Grey Wolf let out an enraged growl at it was determined to bring down Hui Bingweng with it, for the beast it was easy to make such a decision as it knew with its injury it was unlikely to survive unless it encountered a miraculous encounter.

The Lead Grey Wolf wanted to at least bring the end of the enemy who inflicted such wounds upon it upon its death.

To Wild Beasts such as Grey Wolves there was nothing more honourable than to die in battle alongside a Magical Beast! Especially when taking out an enemy within the five races.

Magical Beasts were not exactly on good terms with any races which is quite obvious, as they compete with resources virtually everywhere. And with the five races hunting beasts for their parts, though at the same time the beasts also wantonly kill the five races as consuming them also improves their cultivation, there is always going to be conflict.

The lucky thing for the five races is that the Magical Beasts are very unorganised, and that they are not good at forming alliances, even the strongest and most intelligent beasts such as the Dragons would not have any control over the various different Magical Beasts, not that they wanted to anyways as Dragons mainly stuck to themselves.

This leads to Beast hordes attacking the five races not being uncommon, as Magical Beasts would time to time attack them for resources.

So, for a Wild Beast such as the Lead Grey Wolf, there was no bigger joy than slaying a human expert.

With the Lead Grey Wolf going all out without a care for death, Hui Bingweng was quickly put in a disadvantageous situation in which he was barely holding on.

From the short moments into the battle Hui Bingweng was already wounded by the Lead Grey Wolf who attacked frenziedly ignoring its injuries.

Uncle Cheng who was witnessing Hui Bingweng awful situation made a few attempts to offer him assistance, but the sly Gold Wolf who fully knew his intentions kept him firmly locked into the battle, not allowing him to lend any aid whatsoever.

Li Fen ignoring the shocked face of Hui Bai who just a second ago narrowly escaped death, cast an anxious expression towards her Father.

Looking at the other men who are being completely locked into battle with the Grey Wolves and unable to hand a hand with her Father, despite knowing she couldn't do anything in such as a situation she couldn't help but take a step forward.

Upon doing so Zhang Wei said in her mind, 'Don't move, you can't add nothing but compromise your Father in such a situation. You think if he saw his Daughter rushing in there that he wouldn't be distracted and face death? I don't want my successor who just inherited the Silver Dragon bloodline to be killed by a mere Wild Beast, especially in such stupid circumstances. We would become the biggest laughing stock that has ever lived'

Hearing the displeasure in Zhang Wei's voice who in Zhang Wei fashion somehow ended the conversation about her Father to himself, Li Fen still couldn't accept the current situation and voice, 'I can't just stand here and nothing, I'm no coward. I have my own principles, and I believe that if a person treats you kindly then you should repay them in turn. If you want me to kill someone who crossed me in turn, I can do so, but if you want me to stand and let someone who cared for me greatly since coming to this new world, then I, Li Fen cannot do so!'

Li Fen finally made the decision in her mind to help her new Father in this World, Hui Bingweng.

Since coming to this unfamiliar World she initially felt cold to the new family which was brought upon her, as despite her misgivings with her previous parents, in the end of the day they are still her Family, and who can honestly say they can replace the Family in their hearts?

Though, at this moment in time she felt that one of the Dragons greatest gifts in this World was actually by providing such a warm Family, so with no longer any hesitation she took a step forward.

But, as she was about to take any more steps a sudden whoosh sounded in the air as the previous ferocious Lead Grey Wolf was sent flying from what appeared to be a javelin.

The Lead Grey Wolf eyes were full of reluctance as it went limp on the ground without a sign of life. Dead.

Upon the death of the Lead Grey Wolf there was a mixture of expressions, from Uncle Cheng and the humans at that moment they knew that powerful back up has arrived so they were full of hope and happiness.

But, to the Gold Wolf this signalled a grave threat to its life, so without hesitation it began to flee as soon as it witnessed the Lead Grey Wolf get killed so easily.

Even though the Lead Grey Wolf was injured, to one shot kill it like that was still beyond its capabilities.

However, the Gold Wolf quick reaction still didn't seem to be enough to save his life as the expert who seemed to have killed the Lead Grey Wolf has already arrived at the scene and yelled, "Where do you think your going, beast? Your beast core already belongs to this Young Noble!"

Upon saying that the Young Noble pulled out of no where another javelin as he once again threw it with such force that even the powerful Gold Wolf couldn't take it and ended up being skewered on the Javelin.

Seeing the 'pitiful' Gold Wolf who was whining in pain on the ground defenceless with the Javelin deeply penetrating into its flesh , a look of amazement appeared in their eyes.

Seeing that the previously fearsome Gold Wolf being beaten completely one sidedly by a man who appeared far younger than Uncle Cheng created a sense of awe within the children's eyes.

Li Fen who was much calmer than the children thought, 'It appears this is one of the young geniuses then?'

Zhang Wei replied, 'Hmm. He's alright I guess, but would only be considered ordinary in the four Empires. And in comparison as a whole to the five races, wouldn't be worth mentioning.'

The 'ordinary' in Zhang Wei's mind would be considered a lot different in within this Kingdom, as here the Young Noble would be considered an outstanding genius, but in the whole of the human continent he wouldn't be nothing much.

Hui Bai and other boys felt that their horizons has greatly widened and a target was formed in their minds into giving it all in becoming a genius warrior of this calibre.

By then wouldn't a Gold Wolf like the one who greatly threatened them, be nothing in their eyes?

To them this encounter would leave a deep impression within their minds.

The silence was broken when Uncle Cheng spoke, "Thank you sir for coming to our aid! We'd have been in a bit of trouble without your help!"

The Young Noble who was admiring his handiwork was broke out of his thoughts upon hearing Uncle Cheng, seeing that Uncle Cheng was thanking him politely he said, "There's no problem here, we human experts must look out for our own. Those beasts having being growing far to bold lately."

Right after the Young Noble finished they heard a clamouring of steps behind them as what appeared to be the Young Nobles entourage finally caught up to him.

"Wang Guanyu, you have rushed off again! You need to stop leaving your Younger Brother behind!" A middle aged man who appeared alongside a group of guards and a young boy appeared.

Seemingly feeing a bit guilty, Wang Guanyu said, "It wasn't my fault I found a bunch of folks in trouble, it seems a Magical Beast roamed out of its territory again."

The middle aged man who just noticed Uncle Cheng and the group, whilst also seeing the carcass of the Gold Wolf quickly discovered the situation and said, "Ah! I guess Young Master did indeed solve a big problem this time!"

The Young Boy who was in the group of guards for the first time seemed interested at the mention of Magical Beast and laid his eyes onto the Golden Wolf with a excitedly.

As he stared at the body of the Gold Wolf he couldn't help but roam his eyes of the group before him, his eyes past the group casually until he reached Li Fen upon which an expression of curiosity emerged.

Wang Guanyu who couldn't help but notice his brother eyes focusing on something, turned to look what he was staring at and quickly found Li Fens figure.

An expression of shock emerged, witnessing Li Fen's face even he couldn't help but marvel at how beautiful the child was, as a Noble he had met many beautiful people but Li Fen was at the top of that list and not by a small amount.

Despite being child you could already tell Li Fen is going to be a great beauty in the future, and with her white hair and silver eyes giving her an even more exotic look, made him feel as if she was an Angel who was to pure for the Mortal World.

"Who must be this Child's parents?" Wang Guanyu voiced with curiosity.

Surely the parents of this child must be equally beautiful? Could she be from some Noble family? It can't be within this Kingdom as such beautiful people couldn't have appeared from no where.

'Maybe she has an older Sister?' Young Noble Wang Guanyu thought mischievously, but these glorious thoughts were soon destroyed when the bear like man Hui Bingweng replied he was her Father.

But, these thoughts were quickly replaced when he began thinking, 'Hmm. She's definitely going to be a great beauty in the future, so as the amazing Older Brother I am, I will grant my Younger Brother a great opportunity! After all they are about the same age!'

'I'm definitely a genius, but from then on it all relies on him to win her heart in the future!' Thought Young Noble Wang Guanyu.

"How about we escort you on your way out?" Wang Guanyu said shocking Uncle Cheng and the group.

"I'm sure that won't be appropriate..." Uncle Cheng was about to mutter but Wang Guanyu wouldn't let him have it and insisted on walking them back.

Therefore this led to the two groups joining together as they began their journey back to the Town.
