Jax dragged his heavy feet out of the infirmary, after the physician was done with the former's not so serious checkup.
The said physician, seemed to be a living definition for a human with stone heart, as he didn't even let his self slash newly inflicted wrist wound to stop bleeding before shooing Jax out of his office rather impatiently.
As exhausted as he was, Jax didn't bother to mind himself with the doctor's attitude or rather he chose to ignore him completely, as the latter's behavior was so in line with all the others' in here.
With his unsteady steps and blurry vision, Jax continued to move forward and out of what seemed like the offices block of the higher officials of this prison.
However, it seemed like his mind too was not into the young man's intentions so much, as it continued to ring as if a mechanical bee was buzzing nonstop just right in the auditory canals of both of his eyes.
He could only sigh in defeat as he held his head with his good hand, while clutching his sore and still blood oozing left hand to his chest while making his way toward his room.
And when he saw a dark corridor just before turning into the walkway which would lead to the block where his prison cell was located, Jax stopped in his tracks as the words 'secret portal' flashed in his mind.
And immediately after, he remembered his weird dream he had on the third day of his punishment in the dark room.
He stared at the corridor as the words he heard in that seemingly weird hallucination of his made their way into his subconscious again and before he knew it, his feet turned his trajectory toward the aforementioned dark corridor.
Even though he outrightly shunned whatever happened on that morning as his own mind playing tricks on him, still there was this inclining thought in his subconscious that kept bugging him that he was seriously leaving something unconsidered.
But his now hazy and disturbed mind couldn't grasp the situation clearly.
Jax couldn't even describe how disturbed his mind was, as the constant buzz in his ear canals had now intensified as if a machine was drilling his ear drum.
And, again this led him to trace his steps back to his room for a much needed sleep. He just hoped that whatever thing that was bothering his inner self would calm down after some uninterrupted rest.
In his hast, Jax didn't notice the incoming figure of a burly man who was approaching him with clear yet crisp foot steps which resounded in the corridor ahead, and walked into the latter in a head on collision.
The impact of the crash, literally shook the entire gray matter in Jax's head that he felt his own eyes roll back in their sockets as his whole body shook for a few moments nonstop.
F*CK!!!
Jax cussed under his breath, and lifted his still spinning head to confront the wooden block of a human being who knocked him in broad day light, but everything seemed to appear double in front of him.
Jax closed his eyes for a few seconds to regain some focus, but he couldn't afford to shake his head as he was afraid that it would worsen the buzzing in his mind even further.
And while he was still standing with his eyes closed tightly, he heard a familiar voice ringing right in his left ear loudly, as of the the person speaking to him had spoke into a microphone before placing a speaker box just beside his ear.
"HOW ARE YOU MY FRIEND?"
Jax flinched in utter discomfort at the way these five words resounded in his ears before making him open his eyes abruptly.
Once opened, his eyes landed on a pair of well toned hands with their's fingers intertwined before their owner's abdomen which was buff and firm with hard plated muscles bulging out of the not so thin prisoner clothes.
So he bumped into a co- inmate. The last time he bumped into one, had landed him into a sticky situation. As this thought crossed his mind, Jax felt the same ominous feeling he felt when he knocked into Garry a few days ago.
Just like last time, his eyes quickly scoured his surroundings in search of that one particular pair of creepy sea green eyes.
Jax breathed out a sigh of relief when he couldn't find the owner of weirdly smiling lips around him.
Then he chose to address the situation at hand; that was to confront his collision party, however, the face that greeted him stunned him speechless as he curbed a sudden urge to curse the living day lights out of the person standing in front of him, all smug and reckless.
In front him was the very rougish man about whom he thought of avoiding at all costs. He even planned to ignore when he was called by his name.
Yet, here he was, directly crashing into this brute with unbelievable psychotic tendencies as if they both were opposite poles of two magnets.
He didn't even want to curse his sh*t luck anymore.
Every time he blamed his luck, it only landed him even stickier situations. He should better not provoke it any further than this.
On the other hand, the corners of Hank's lips pulled up into his trademark weird smirk after noticing Jax's reaction for seeing him. His face lit up with unfounded joy as if he were a kid who finally got noticed by his favorite pet.
What's with his smile this time?
"What happened to your hand Jax?" Hank asked like he was genuinely concerned about Jax's well being.
However, his actions afterward left Jax staring at him with his eyes wide open.
Hank reached out his hand toward Jax's left hand, and without waiting for an answer from the latter, he pulled open the gauge bandage that was wrapped around it.
And as if that wasn't enough, Hank rubbed his fingers over his left back hand drawing more blood like it was not bleeding fast enough.
This damned psycho!
