We got to our first period. I still wondered why I basically teleported to school. Was it because of my capabilities as a vampire?
"Mr. Kurosaki," my teacher said after class, "did you get a single thing I was talking about in class? You seemed as if you were thinking of something else while I taught."
I gave a little laugh. "Yeah...didn't get a single thing."
My teacher let out a sigh as he pulled out a stack of papers. "Here's all the content we talked about today. Please give it back by tomorrow."
"Yes, sir!" I said as I gave a salute and ran off.
"Don't run, Kurosaki."
"Sorry." I said with a laugh and halted to a walk.
I made it to my second period, somehow, and kept wondering off inside of my own little world. "Will I be able to shapeshift? That'd be cool," I thought.
As I kept thinking about things like that, I glanced at the window and saw a black figure looking at me intensely.
I wiped my eyes with my hands and didn't see it after. Because of this, I went to the teacher, "Hey, can I use the bathroom?"
"Sure," the teacher said, waving her hand for me to leave them alone.
"Douchebag," I mumbled under my breath as I walked out of the classroom.
I walked to the bathroom and washed my face. "God, I am tired…" I moaned. "I'm even seeing mysterious figures. So...common?"
A guy walked into the bathroom after a minute of me looking at my fangs. I quickly stopped once I saw them walk in from the reflection, though.
"You're Hachi Kurosaki, right," the man questioned.
"Yeah, why?" I responded with a confused face.
"Ah, so you are a school student."
"What do you me—" I said, getting cut off by a beam of light going through my stomach, causing a giant hole.
"Go to sleep now, Kurosaki."
I fell to the ground, feeling my blood leak out of my body like a hose.
"Wake up," that same man's voice said.
I opened my eyes sluggishly, to my horror, I still had the hole in my stomach, and was tied up in a wheelchair.
I let out a frantic scream. "Shut up, Kurosaki," the man said, shoving his arm into my mouth.
My instincts took over as I smelled blood and dug my teeth into his arm, sucking a good amount of blood out.
"Done yet," the man questioned with a yawn.
I let go of his arm, the whole in my stomach was healing quickly, and my eyes turned blood red. "Where am I?" I asked impatiently.
"Calm down, Mr. Scary," he said mockingly.
I did a blood curdling growl, for some reason, I couldn't control my actions. "Like said before, where am I?!"
"This is where you are." the man said as he grabbed the handles to the wheelchair and pushed me through a door. There, a group of people stood around, looking in my direction.
"Who...what…? This doesn't answer my question!" I said to the man.
"Okay, ladies and gentlemen. Meet Hachi Kurosaki, a vampire and the newest member of 'Monster Brigade'." the man said as he introduced me to the group of people.
"Welcome, Kurosaki," they all said.
With my eyes still red and my anger being built up more and more, I finally broke through the rope and tackled the man who kidnapped me.
"Tell me where I am, now!" I yelled out, not being myself.
All the other people ran up to us and tried to pull me off, but my willpower didn't let them get me off.
"Give me one reason why I shouldn't decapitate you right now," I yelled aloud.
The man looked surprised, "Wow, your feisty. I like you!"
"Answer my question!" I yelled out, letting saliva drip out of my mouth. I was planning to bite him once again.
"Fine, here's punishment for being a bad vamp," he said as he kicked me off of him and quickly punched my stomach, making me fall to the ground in horrific pain.
My eyes turned back to normal. Seeming only to have dissipated because of the extreme amounts of pain in a few short moments.
"Now do you understand, Kurosaki?" the man said, "You aren't the big bad man you think."
I stayed on the ground in pain. For some reason, my life turned out like Hell in a few short hours.
