The stream of Qi made Long Daiyu feel a sense of familiarity. It was as if she had experienced the magic of this world before off into a distant past. Yet it was so foreign as it invaded her body in an unnatural way.
It started off as a calm feeling enveloping her in the warm yet cold feeling like the ocean air. She'd never visited the ocean but she knew this is what it would feel like. Yet as a small smile met her chapped lips, a hurricane broke down the walls in her body she didn't know existed.
The overwhelming feeling brought a pain so intricate, it felt as if every pore of her body was forcibly being fed power until she would pop.
Long Yian on the other hand was ecstatic. the spirit root that appears was black like the lighting that came down from the sky not so long ago. She had never heard of a black spirit root as they were classified by color.
First came yellow with the weakest talent for cultivation followed up by orange, red, green, light blue, blue, and purple as the strongest.
She personally had a light blue spirit root and was known throughout the continent as a genius. She quivered at the mysterious spirit root above her new daughter. It seemed almost to dark, as if it belonged to an evil being.
Long Daiyu couldn't hold back and let out a mournful scream as blood ran down the sides of her mouth and eyes. It was normal to bleed out all the impurities of ones body as they opened up thier mediteranian's for the first time. But to Long Daiyu who had never seen such a thing, she was scared out of her mind she would die at this very moment.
"Yu'er you must hold on! If you can't complete the process, your body will fall into Qi deviation and you'll go crazy!"
The process had already started and if anything went wrong her daughter would be near deaths door once again. Long Yian began to send some of her pure internal Qi she had amassed for her next breakthrough into her daughter in order to quicken the process. After years of amounting pure qi, would would have thought it went into the simple process of opening up a child's mediteranian's. Many martial artist would throw up blood at the use of her hard work.
If people could hear yu'er screaming they would think a poor child was being murdered !
Black beads of sweat rolled down all of Long Daiyu's body as she clenched her teeth. Yu'er looked almost terrifying as her eyes were bloodshot and cried black tears that stained her face.
After hours the cries quieted down, yu'er collapsed into her mother's arms. The child no longer had the strength to stay awake after opening up her mediteranian's. It was a difficult process for a child her age and the normal age to start the process would be fifteen and over. Yu'er has gotten a ten year head start into a world of bloodshed.
Long Yian smiled down at her child and washed her body gently with warm water and expensive lotions. She couldn't help but feel satisfaction as she stared at yu'er.
She no longer had hollowed cheeks or an unhealthy look but radiated beauty. Her skin was tender and looked so delicate a single pinch would damage it. Her cheeks where round and gave off a healthy peachy look while her lips below looked tiny and soft. Her nose was adorably small, topped with big eyes and long eyelashes they almost seemed fake.
She looked so peaceful while she slept that even Yian couldn't help but relax around her. Her pure qi had allowed yu'er to open up her mediteranian's a little larger than others, along with accentuating her already naturally pretty looks. The higher yu'er reached in cultivation the more devastatingly beautiful she would become.
Yian couldn't help but pout a bit at her child's beauty. She'd have to hide her away as she didn't want her to get stolen by the wolf like men.
But other than that she could see a bit of similarities between her and yu'er. Their eyes, and nose were oddly alike. Was this her actual blood related daughter gifted by the heavens? She questioned herself over and over as she looked at yu'er snuggled in her arms. Suddenly yu'er rubbed her cheek against shoulder and held on tighter.
A small smile bloomed like spring on the sleeping child's face and a foreign emotion enveloped Yian. Fluffy and delightful was all she could describe it as. Yian let a similar smile cover her lips as she patted the child's back in a soothing manner while she slept.
She stared at the window out into the streets of the town filled with music and laughter and couldn't help but mutter to herself.
"Since the heavens have gifted you to me, I won't act humbly and I'll spoil you rotten"
