Chapter 1 - Life of an Orphan

William is an armourer in the Unites States Army he manages, builds, and sometimes creates weapons for the Military. He loved his job, after living in a foster home then an orphanage the military was his escape. It may sound dumb but for a young man who'd never had a family of his own the other men he worked with opened a world of brother hood that gave him a purpose. Even though he wasn't on the front lines he would design and manage weapons to protect his brothers.

He grew up in an orphanage called Mary's Home where they spent more money on bibles then they did on food, they where by no means ever hungry but the children where never full. Unless you wanted Nun Agnes to coldcock you with her bible you always prayed loud enough for her to hear you before you went to bed. At age 8 he met an amazing family with a women who's eyes sparkled as if stars where in her eyes and a man who's deep laugh was so infectious he couldn't help but grin even though he didn't get the joke. Something about even though they hadn't had kids yet they would keep practicing with lots of enthusiasm. After another hour of paper work we where finally off, they had a nice car no clue what kind but it was blue and me being 8 I was happy seeing as it was my favorite color. OOOO I jumped up and down can I drive, sorry sport but maybe when your older, okay then SHOTGUN, ha your funny kid, sorry mom I smirked then froze as I realized I called her mom I blushed and quickly averted my gaze. If I had kept looking I would have seen the glint in her eyes as she chuckled, no problem Deary don't worry. After getting in the car we started driving home but I quickly fell into my dreams, of family and picnics and parks. After a good nap I felt the car stop quickly waking up I wiped the drool off my mouth and sniffled are we there yet. Yes deary, say hello to your new home. A cozy two story house with a tree swing and a doggy door and little cement circles laid on a rocky landscape showed 2 hand prints. Here sport, a soft voice whispered behind me let's add you to the garden betting a bowl from inside he poured some quick cement in it and placed my hand in. Showing a small hand printed into it, now when we add it to our garden you'll forever be part of our family, while his words reached my ears it didn't process I just stood there, John you idiot you pushed the poor boy too hard look at him he can't... she was cut off by me rushing to my new family, and hugging his leg tears streaming down my face. Come here sport he picked me up and wrapped me in a bear hug, come here Olivia. Sandwich time grinned John, with my new mom coming to other side and hugging my back finishing the sandwich, tears fell from my face even John started sniffling come on sport let's have some dinner. While m. Mom makes some dinner stuttered I'll give you a tour, okay dad I cried practiced skipping up the stairs. John and Olivia smiled warmly at each other they finally had a little boy.
