I celebrating my 30th birthday with several guys from the Armourer squad drinking and laughing, it was one of the best birthdays I had in a long time. For a while I was happy even though not perfect I had a family I could count on. The next day was nerve racking it was the big day. Like calendar circled 15-20 times, in sharply, in different colors. For the past 8 months my team and I had been developing vibrations as a weapon not like the movies where it's a gun and weird circle air waves come out of the gun and it hits the bad guy and causes him explode. No this was a real tool made for practical uses. Similar to a bomb except it was more controlled and could deal multitudes of more damage, using vibrations it would break apart whatever it attached to, buildings or vehicles even the ground if you wanted it too, the sky was the limit but I refused to test it on humans much to my superiors disappointment. Today was the last testing day, where after creating a fake bunker in a secluded location they would amp up the device to the highest it could go, I never let it go above half even at 40% the device was more then strong enough to take down a skyscraper, theoretically anyway they didn't test it on one. But if brought down fairly big sized buildings in a matter of seconds, after driving to the testing site which had way too much security since it was in Montana and nobody lived within seventy miles in any direction. After arriving and preparing the machine and going through the plan and what to do if something goes wrong me and my team finally felt ready. The bunker was a massive a thousand feet wide and five hundred feet deep, which was about the size of the chiefs stadium. We had one large machine or as we called it the RMPM and a few smaller handheld versions that could be used as a new type of grenade. That is as long as it met the superiors expectations, which where to say the least very high. After walking several miles away and being behind protective glass which honestly did do anything if something went wrong, it just made the idiots feel safer. After going through the presentation about what we created and what it could led to I finally could begin. First laying out the demonstration I quickly began entering the code, After an annoying but necessary process of double checking and triple checking I moved the Decibel all the way to max and flipped the switch.
Immediately the ground began to shake, using a seismometer (a tool used by Geologists to measure the strength of an earthquake) the devices screen flashed red, reading RMPM WAVES as a 7.5 earthquake. Gentle men please back up and prepare the choppers to leave, I flipped the emergency switch and immediately turned it off,

I breathed a deep sigh of relief thank god it worked, but the entire bunker was just gone... all that stood was a crater. Scary part is it wasn't ending it kept expanding and didn't show any sign of stopping. LEAVE ON THE CHOPPERS NOW, GO GO GO. I started to run but remembered I couldn't leave the RMPM grabbing it I quickly ran off toward the choppers. Already two where taking off and the third was just about to depart. But just as I was nearing it took off, NO, why, I shouted. The sound a few feet behind me was my answer. Oh Fuck me, then the ground beneath my feet crumbled, followed with nothing but darkness.
