As Elliot took a step inside the village a pop up appeared in front of him.

'1 minute is too short, I wanted to say goodbye to the kids but I guess I won't have the opportunity.'
As he pressed the button the world around him started to distort, the colors faded and the landscapes melted but in the middle of this chaos Elliot heard a loud yell from in front of him !
"BIG BROTHER ELLIOT THANK YOU !"
'Alex ?'
Elliot smiled, that kid had left him a very good impression. He must have only been around 7 or 8 years old yet he was already this brave, at this age he had taken the responsibility of protecting all the other kids and he had succeeded !
Elliot appeared in the same throne room as before with a smile on his lips, the old man who was still sitting there looked at him and asked.
"Did something good happen ?"
"Yeah I completed the quest, isn't that good ?"
"Haha yeah your result is impressive. Almost no casualties on both sides, all the villagers have been saved and you even erased future threats all of that without revealing your identity even once to an enemy, I have seen results like this one before but I'm still very impressed every time I see it."
"Old man, can I ask you something ?"
"Sure go ahead, I don't have much time so I'll answer only one of your questions."
'One ?'
Elliot thought that this old man could clear him from his doubts and tell him about this world but he was given the right to ask only one question, when he walked in the throne room Elliot had been surprised when he saw that on top of the old man there was no name and no level and so he decided on his question.
"Who are you ?"
"Nice question, I wouldn't normally answer this question but I promised so... my name is Ryoo. I guess I am something similar to a game master. Is my answer satisfying enough ?"
"A game master ? So you're basically a god."
"Haha I don't have that much power yet, one day maybe if I'm lucky enough."
Alright ! I've answered your question so I'll give you your class now, after thinking about it I've decided on this : Shadow Knight ; what do you think ?
"What's a Shadow Knight?"
Although the name sounded cool Elliot didn't know how a class would affect his future in this world so he was very cautious and since the old man asked him what he thought about it then it probably meant that he was given the choice to refuse.
"Well you see, originally I thought about giving you the Knight class because of how upright you are and how strong your sense of justice is however your methods are closer to those of an Assassin moving hand to hand with the shadows while avoiding being seen or heard and killing silently, in the end I couldn't decide and created a unique class for you. I can't wait to see how strong it is, then see you next time !"
'Unique class...'
Elliot thought as he was being transported back to the cave, he had gotten used to being thrown around and so didn't think much of it anymore.
'But the knight is the perfect opposite of an assassin, how am I going to fight with this contradicting class ?'
Elliot sighed and looked at the pop ups that kept appearing in front of him one after another.

Elliot looked at the chain of pop ups in a daze, every single information in there was enough to make him jump and dance of joy but he was in such shock that he didn't know how to react !

He looked at his new status page and couldn't help but smile from ear to ear, it was probably due to his luck stat but he felt like he was evolving way faster than a normal human was supposed to, when he thought back about it his luck had been very high since he came to this world.
First he had dodged the attack of the first crab luckily and avoided dying, then the two crabs actually killed each other which wasn't something that would happen normally. The drop rate of his items was very high too, then he found the collapsed Feline monarch which could only be described as heavenly luck and it wasn't over, when he though about it there were lots of other examples.
'Since my luck is so good this Shadow Knight class can't be bad right ?'
He thought about it for awhile and then decided to check the new features of the system that had been unlocked, he opened the inventory first and just like in a game there were rows of little empty squares, at this point he wasn't surprised anymore and tried putting his backpack inside the inventory.
As the backpack went through it it disappeared and the first square of the list had his backpack inside.
'There is food in my backpack, what will happen to it if I leave it there ? Will it rot slower, faster or won't rot at all ? I guess I'll have to do some tests later.'
Finally Elliot opened the [Shop] part of the system as he was curious what kind of things were sold there and at what price.

That wasn't all yet but Elliot stopped looking at it for a second.
'It will cost me my experience? Then if I buy too much I'll go back down to level 1 ? What about the stats and health points that I get when I level up, do they disappear until I level back up ?'
He had a lot of questions but didn't want to try answering them because the price for that was quite heavy. The massive amount of experience points he needed to level up seemed very precious to him because of how hard it was to get and so decided he wouldn't buy anything yet, the higher his level was and the smaller the price would be compared to his total exp so he would probably buy attribute points later.
He kept looking to the shop in detail, there wasn't any equipment and it was mostly consumables that would disappear after one use, after scrolling for awhile he realized all the items had been grayed and so they couldn't be bought yet, at that moment he closed the shop and started thinking about the future.
After such a long adventure Elliot was feeling refreshed, he stood up and stretched. He had decided he would go and sell the jewelry he had stolen from the baron. After checking all the items he wanted to keep was only the ring called Eye of the night as the others wouldn't be very useful to him.
