"8 million ? Son stop joking already..."
"I'm serious dad so pack up your stuff and come soon, I'll also send you more money to get mom transferred."
"Alright alright but what about citizenship ? Without it we can't stay there for long can we ?"
"Don't worry about that we can buy it, everything have a price."
Elliot had always been the type of people to believe that money made happiness, people who said it didn't hadn't worked hard enough to make their money, he who had worked his ass off since he was 16 years old had finally started feeling happiness in the recent weeks.
This happiness was obviously due to him making money, using that money he made his family happy, isn't that true happiness ?
"Let me think about it, I've lived here all of my life how could I just leave suddenly ?"
"Alright dad I'll prepare everything, I'll buy the house and pay the hospital to get mom transferred, you can come when you're ready."
"You're going back in ?"
"After I'm done with all the stuff, yes."
"Be careful son, we don't need money that much anymore so focus on keeping your life."
"That was my mindset since the beginning hahah."

The next morning Elliot flew to Sydney and took care of the hospital stuff, he didn't know exactly how a transfer worked but as long as he paid enough then they would take care of everything themselves and so he did trust them.
Then he moved onto buying a house, he wanted something not too far away from the hospital and at the same time relatively close to an elementary school, of course Timmy would have to transfer.
The move would be hard for Timmy, losing all his friends and having to make new ones but it was for the best, there was only one breach and here it was, in Australia.
For a few hours he looked around the offers of various real estate agencies until he found the perfect house, on a hill not too far from the hospital Elliot was guided by the real estate agent to see the house.
The house was surrounded by a tall metallic fence and the only ways in were through the cars gate or the smaller gate next to it, at the entrance there was a small booth and it was probably there so that he could hire a gatekeeper.
Then after taking a step behind the metallic door he was greeted by a beautiful green garden, on his left was a pond while his right was closed by a small hill, it was definitely too large for just his dad and his brother but it was perfect, he would be able to come here every time he needed to relax.
In front of him was the modern house, it was a cluster of rectangles made of smooth white stone and glass, the roof was completely flat and everything was stacked in the first floor, one large garage that could probably accommodate a few cars. There were also four individual rooms and one dining room in the middle, Elliot looked at it and nodded with satisfaction.
The front door was purely made of metal and it could be opened either by a password on the keypad or a registered fingerprint, the security on this house was also top notch which made Elliot even more satisfied.
"How much is it ?"
Elliot looked at the pretty real estate agent and asked, she didn't look very motivated and it was probably due to Elliot's attire. He was dressed very basically with no branded boots, a basic white t shirt and camo colored cargo pants. Obviously he didn't have the profil of the buyer and so the woman felt like he would say something like "too expensive" and leave.
"It's 2 800 000$, the owner is willing to lower the price in a reasonable range."
Of course even though she felt like he would never have the money for such a noise she still kept her professionalism and replied like she was supposed to.
"How much is a reasonable range ?"
To be completely honest Elliot felt like even if he paid three millions for this house it would be worth it but since he was given the opportunity to lower the price of course he would do it.
'Sigh, another day without selling anything. I guess I won't get a bonus this month.'
The real estate agent thought but didn't say it out loud, instead she said
"I think 2 650 000$ would be a good deal for both the seller and the buyer."
"Then I'll let you handle it, if he isn't willing to sell it for this price then I'll take it for the original price."
The real estate agent looked at Elliot and couldn't believe it, just like this he was buying a house worth millions ? She thought he just didn't have an idea of the prices of houses in Sydney and had came overconfident but he was actually so rich!
"Yes sir, I'll call the owner and see if we can finalize the deal today if you want to."
"Sure let's do this !"

After an hour with the owner and the agent Elliot was now the legal owner of this new house, the house was completely equipped but he still had to buy his own mattress and other indispensable stuff so that night he slept in a hotel and took care of it the next day.
'Timmy's school isn't that close so I guess dad will have to drive him there and he'll need a car for that, time to buy one ?'
Now the house was completely ready for someone to live inside and so he was satisfied, his bank account had lost nearly 3 million dollars the day before but he didn't mind it, for his mom, his dad and his brother's happiness it was a small price.
Dressed in a similar outfit as the day before Elliot left the house, the reason why he wore such outfits was because he had bought a few of them before going in the breach and he hadn't bought enough casual clothes with him.
'Dad have been driving an old Ford pickup for most of his life so I want to give him a good surprise, what brand would he like ?'
He thought about it but couldn't guess, his dad wasn't materialistic and he knew it so he guessed he wouldn't care what he he brought him so he used his own tastes and went to a BMW dealership, he looked around and although there were lots of pretty cars his eyes were attracted to a black lightweight car, it wasn't the prettiest but for some reason he felt like this one was it !
He looked at the small label and was surprised by the price.
[BMW M760i
170 000$.]
'That's expensive for a car...'
