Before he left the cave Elliot equipped again all his items, he had forgotten about them after taking them off when he left the breach but in this world it was a very bad idea to not wear them all the time. This time he didn't have a backpack with him and so was a lot more agile, he jumped down the cliff from the grotto while holding onto the rope and pushed a few times against the wall with his feet until he reached the ground.
He looked at the familiar forest where he had killed the feline monarch and walked in, the last time he had left straight away after getting the feline monarch's ring but now he was ready to spend a few days in there until he reached level 20 at least.
Just like the last time he walked in but this time there wasn't the scary pressure of the other time, nothing happened. He just walked in as if it was a random forest on earth, he took a few steps further but there was still nothing.
'What was that the other time ? If it wasn't from the forest then was it from some kind of creature ?'
A chill went down his spine, he first he wasn't sure if it was the effect of this creepy forest or some kind of beast and that was why he had walked in anyway but just now realized that a strong and probably evil creature was in this forest when he killed the feline monarch.
'I really walked towards death on my own volition...'
He sighed and walked forward, this time he hadn't felt anything so there was a huge chance that the monster had left and so he decided to walk in again, he didn't know if he would find another feline monarch but he knew that the hyena came from this direction.

For the next few days Elliot survived in this forest by killing all type of monsters, most of them were huge insects that gave him nausea every time he saw them and made him feel like vomiting.
He kept on fighting and fighting until one day when he walked out of the forest into a huge desert, there was sand everywhere and it kept extending past the horizon, during these 8 days in the forest Elliot had leveled up one time but hadn't dropped any item. He didn't feel that sad however as he had already been extremely lucky already.

He looked at his status page and thought about it for awhile...
'I have literally no information about this zone, if only there was a monster for me to use perception on it to see the levels around here but it's completely empty...'
He opened the map of the system and realized he was already on the verge of leaving the range of the breach, a few more kilometers and he wouldn't be able to see it anymore but in the end he still decided to walk in the desert, if he wanted to run he had lots of ways to do so and to get back to the breach he still had the compass that was pointing towards the breach.
'I really need a new armor, my class have h the word "knight" inside it but I don't have an armor, it isn't logical.'
Elliot looked more determined than ever and walked into the desert, he had only taken the first step when he felt something coming from his right side and he crouched right away.

BANG
A whistling sound went from Elliot's right to his left and then ended in a huge explosion that lifted a huge cloud of sand, Elliot looked at why it was and realized it was an arrow. Not just any type of arrow, it was so big that it almost looked like a spear !
"HUMAN, LEAVE THIS PLACE AT ONCE. I WONT REPEAT MYSELF, THE NEXT ARROW WILL TAKE YOUR LIFE."
Elliot looked to his right where the grumbling voice was coming from, a humanoid beast with large red scales was standing on a rock as big as a 10 storey building.
"Who are you ?"
Although the arrow had surprised him Elliot didn't feel scared by the beast at all, the reason was because it was alone and it's level was only 15, during his hunt in the forest he had even taken down a level 24 spider before he had leveled up so he was certain a level 15 monster wasn't a big deal.
The name above the monster was [Scaled meta human].
"LEAVE."
As Elliot realized the humanoid monster wasn't willing to have a decent conversation with him Elliot was about to attack it when suddenly.
'Isn't this the first monster I ever met that's able to speak ?'
Suddenly he felt weird, killing monsters like crabs, spiders, foxes and bulls wasn't that hard but when he thought about killing an intelligent being he suddenly felt bad, during his class quest Elliot had killed the noble but that guy was rotten to the bones so he was actually happy he had freed the world from that scum.
This monster even tho quite ugly looking hadn't done anything evil as far as he was aware so he took a step back. While his eyes were focused on the monster in case a second arrow came flying at him and walked back into the forest.
'Since a level 15 monster was able to survive in that desert I guess it isn't such a good hunting ground after all, let's keep exploring this forest for awhile.

"Let's go."
When Elliot left the scaled metahuman's voice rung and 10 others like him jumped out from behind the rock to join him.
"That human, he was strong as an individual."
One of the monsters said while looking at the retreating back of Elliot.
"The strength of an individual is nothing compared to the strength of the pack."
Then the 11 monsters jumped down the huge rock and started pulling a gigantic lion corpse away, the lion must have been around 15 meters tall and even dead it still had a flaming blue mane.
