"The Hunt Begins - 2" °•○●

In the week before the start of the wolf hunting season, something was happening at the Awei School that took everyone by surprise. First there was the big fire. Then the animal population of the entire forest changed their habitat.

Now, while countless small and large groups were hunting wolves in the forest as usual, they realized that the forest had been cleared. While searching for wolves all over the place for three full days, something else went wrong. There were no predators left in all three directions, south, east, and west around the school. While there were countless animals like normal chickens, rabbits, wild dogs, and the like, there were no wild animals with real crystals.

When the Inner Court disciples and a few teachers were also involved and surveyed the mountains, they noticed that every predator with a level below four had disappeared. If these animals were dead, their blood or bodies would be left behind. But even their corpses were not left.

Some people managed to find tiny bits of blood and scorched earth. But there was a possibility that students who went into the forest to train in normal times would also do this. Especially the outer part of the forest was very popular with students.

Apart from these one or two minor burns, there were no other signs of actual hunting of the animals. But the few evidence found could not be ignored.

What if all the monsters were angry-scared and displaced by the forest fire. But what disproves this theory is that the creatures of the inner forest had changed their habitat, but they were not lost.

Or someone had killed all the creatures in the outer reaches of the forest very quickly, leaving little trace behind.

Although the second option was believed to be correct, there was no evidence, no suspect, no reason. There was nothing.

Since no one took responsibility for this incident, a selected officer from among the inner disciples made an announcement.

He announced that all groups can participate in the eagle hunt.

But it wasn't because they gave great importance to hunting tradition. In fact, they were curious about the people who cleaned the mountains around the school. Otherwise, they didn't care about the tournament or something. They were hoping to find the people who made the most suspicious moves in the current hunt.

Meanwhile, new whispers and even occasional loud conversations were beginning to be heard in the outer court of the school. Even some loners were trying to get out of their homes more and get the latest news.

When the excitement that should have been in a real war school got a little bit, the events started to be followed in secret. Everyone understood that this calmness was actually temporary.

Everyone could wait, at least until the eagle hunt, which would begin in two weeks. But after that... Well.. there were so many people who hoped things would be different that year.

Everyone was praying that large groups would suffer.

...

Sitting on a plain cloth awning in a small tent deep in the southern forest, a cross-legged boy opened his eyes. When he came out of the meditation he was in, he had a strange expression of success on his face.

"I'm finally able to use all techniques perfectly."

As the glint in his eyes lasted for a few seconds, he stopped using the breath of the God of Isra, which was consuming too much energy. Using a side skill that was almost useless when not meditating was just a waste of energy.

The moment he interrupted the technique, the gleam in his eyes faded very quickly. After looking around for a few seconds, he stood up and called out to a tall warrior waiting for him outside. "Margar, we've got a few hours until those on the east side are ready. I'm traveling a bit. Can you stay alone?"

The tall warrior was sitting in the chair in front of the tent. He was near a campfire fighting the dusk. He shook his head, smiling. "Sure, go go..."

The boy's voice was very low. Margar, who was born with a very low voice, was a very pure-hearted and reliable person. The reason why Ren kept him by his side all the time was not because he was a warrior but because of his personality. Whenever they entered dangerous territory, Ren tried to keep Margar by his side.

Leaving the tent, Ren was now at the peak of level 3. He perfected the use of the Isra Breath Technique with his last meditation in the tent. And he was confident that he now had perfect control over his energy and techniques. In other words, he had learned all eight techniques that Nuren had advised him to learn first.

He still hasn't really used the animal taming technique though. But he used a lot of others.

As a result of his training and hunting with his group for the last month, he no longer had a chance against anyone who was at the third level like him.

He bounced off the side of the tent like a bullet and ran into one of the dark forest paths. Ren's body had not changed, nor had he increased in height or strength, but he still looked bigger now. Every step he took bore traces of the overflowing energy in his body, and his energy dominance made Ren look stronger. It was as if he was hiding a potential threat under his skin that was ready to explode. He quickly moved into a running rhythm three times faster than his normal running speed.

Previously, he thought that the quality and quantity of energy and power were in the same proportion. But he knew that it was more important to constantly use and master a technique. The more he used the techniques, the faster he could see and hear. In order to use the techniques, he used some meridians with the energy channels through which he carried energy so much that these channels were now more developed. It was as if his body was adapting to better use the techniques.

..

Ren was running that fast. But actually it is not normally possible to run at this speed among the trees in the forest. But Ren had gotten so used to this forest and vegetation in the past month. Moreover, there were some intermediate routes that they decided to use constantly with other children. They marked these places by themselves and put stones of certain sizes and shapes at their entrances and exits.

But most importantly, he had memorized this forest now. Occasionally he would leap into the air by stepping on certain logs or rocks he knew in certain areas. He climbed onto the familiar branches of some trees and jumped through the clearings at an accelerating pace. Anywhere within a few mountains of the school was now a playground for Ren.

At a fast pace for a few minutes, he suddenly stopped running in a place unlike any other part of the forest. The remains of a burnt tree were visible in the middle of the area. Ren sat with his back to another pine tree he saw next to the burnt tree.

He started meditating in the area where he killed a living creature for the first time.

Having fulfilled the requirement to progress to the fourth level, he relaxed his right hand and took a lush energy crystal in his palm. Ren had taken this crystal from another wolf that was on the same level as the wolf he had killed in his current spot.

In the last month, he had unintentionally returned from a great genocide because they had been training by constantly hunting wolves in the mountains.

Just when they realized that the 2nd or 3rd level wolves had come to an end and stopped this job, a female alpha appeared in front of them for the last time. Ren didn't know if this female alpha with green fur was his mate or not. But he had pulled everyone else back and faced it alone.

The first alpha was the first creature Ren killed. And if his wife was going to die, he wanted to take the responsibility himself. When the event was over and Ren was victorious in blood, all the wolves in that part of the forest began to migrate to the wilder parts of the forest. No wolves set foot in the parts of the forest close to the school anymore.

Deciding to use the brightest of all the crystals in his ring, the green one, he popped it into his mouth. With the crystal of the male Alpha, he became a third-level mage. He was also coming out of the third level with the Crystal of the Female Alpha. Even Ren didn't find it poetic, even though he wanted it to be impressive. He just felt like an animal killer.

He stopped thinking, trying so hard to keep his head in meditation. he lowered his fatter cheeks and face down. He loosened his body, which was not as thin as before. He was no longer deliberately thinking about anything or even trying to keep his body upright. Not a single muscle was under Ren's control.
