It was a warm and sunny day with seven degrees outside. Samar arrived at Olivia's house and rang the doorbell. Olivia answered the door and gestured him to wait inside. After she got ready, she bid her parents goodbye and departed with Samar to the bus stand. Before the bus arrived, Samar asked Olivia, "Are you sure about this?" Olivia nodded her head with confidence. Both of them boarded the bus quickly, and within no time, the bus departed from Prince Edward Island. After eighteen hours of the tedious bus journey, they finally arrived in Toronto.
Olivia asked, "Okay, now that we are here, how do we get to the hospital?" Samar replied, "Don't worry! Yash's father is going to pick us up." Her eyes widened, and she said with anger, "Seriously? Couldn't you find another way?" Samar responded, "Either this or walking forty-five kilometers to the hospital." Olivia scoffs, and both of them stood in silence until his father arrived. As both of them took their seats, Mr. Kapoor, Yash's father, greeted them and asked Olivia where she lived. She replied, "Charlottetown, PEI." He exclaimed, "AH! PEI! You know Yash always wanted to visit the island, but he never got the opportunity to do so."
Mr. Kapoor grows silent and begins to sob. Samar sympathized him, "I'm extremely sorry, Mr. Kapoor." Mr. Kapoor wiped his tears and said, "What can we do? If God wants him to stay, then he shall. I'm at least glad that Yash will go without any regrets. His only sorrow was not telling Olivia how much he cared about her. Now, he has finally got the chance to fulfill that." Tears fill up Olivia's eyes, and Samar tried his best to console her.
After half an hour, they arrived at the hospital. The nurse came running towards Mr. Kapoor and stated, "Mr. Kapoor, I'm afraid that your son has only a few minutes left." Samar looked at Olivia and said, "Olivia, go." Olivia ran to the emergency room and found Yash lying on his deathbed with tears rolling down her cheeks. Yash had enough strength to open his and see Olivia stand alongside him. He stammered, "O--Olivia I--is--that y--you?" Olivia placed herself on the bed and said while crying, "Why? Why did this happen?" He replied, "Olivia, my only regret was not confessing my feelings to you. I loved you and Akira at the same time, but I didn't want to hurt either of you. I believed that you were stronger than Akira; that's why I chose her. That was a huge mistake. I don't know if you could ever forgive me. But please remember that I will always love y--" Yash stopped mid-sentence. Olivia looked at the screen and saw a straight line. Olivia screamed on the top of her voice with depression. Mr. Kapoor and Samar came running to the room, and they discovered that Yash had passed away.
