"I came back as quickly as I could, when your mother told me the news," Alex said, shocked but relieved to find me. Before I had the time to answer, he spoke again: "At the airport, I thought I had lost you, but I realised that if you survived the ordeal, you'd try to make your way home where you would feel the safest." Seeing Alex released all my emotional baggage from my latest near-death experience, and I started crying. "I thought I had lost you. I thought that you didn't want to see me again", I sobbed while feeling very relieved at the same time.
Alex took my hand, smiled at me with his glittering white teeth, and looked at me with his lively green eyes. "Sabina, you are the love of my life. Why would you believe such a thing?"
"Well, you were very upset when you left, and then you didn't call me," I sobbed.
Alex replied with a soft and sincere voice, "I am sorry, Sabina. I was vindictive and foolish. I realised on the second night that you made me whole, and a better person than I ever could hope to be on my own. But I wanted to make you realise that you had done wrong, so I stayed away for a few more days. But I could never imagine that you'd take my absence so hard. Your mother told me that you didn't drink or sleep for three days straight and collapsed."
"Yes... It wasn't just your absence that hurt me. I also felt that I wasn't worthy of sympathy, and I tried to work my way out of the situation", I replied.
Alex stroke my wet hair away from my teary eyes, and gently wiped my tears with a towel. "Don't wallow in guilt, Sabina. You simply have unique abilities that others don't. As much as I am upset that you spied on me, I would have done the same if I had your abilities." Alex told me with a gentle and deep soothing voice.
Alex's reassuring words made me feel better. He always did, he was the rock that I needed to give me stability and purpose to my human side.
"Thank you for coming back!", I said.
"What happened at Barangaroo Wharf? After I jumped into the water?" I asked.
"You really don't know?" Alex asked in amazement.
"No, the power of the Zeto Crystal allowed me to swim underwater without breathing. I didn't dare to swim up to the surface until I had swum to the other end of the city."
Alex looked at me in confusion and replied: "I don't know what to say about that. I am just happy that you are okay. Anyways, after you broke the nose of one of the agents and jumped into the water, the other agents started shooting after you. Suddenly, your mysterious friend, grabbed one of the agent's pistol and shot the other agents."
"Did Martin get out there alive?" I asked, surprised that I suddenly felt so worried about him.
"Yes, your mother said he ran off. You should contact the police. Your mother didn't reveal your identity to them, but they will figure it out soon.", Alex urged.
I knew that Alex's request was sensible, but I couldn't follow it. I had made billions from trading against the World Bank in a few days, and suddenly Martin Al-Sham and the Mossad assassins had come after me. The Mossad still believed that I was Keila Eisenstein, but if I spoke to the police, I would reveal my real identity. While I wished that I could trust the New South Wales Police Force, I simply could not, considering that my adversary was the World Bank, one of the most influential organisations in the world.
"No, I will not speak to the police," I stated firmly.
Alex was surprised by my position, and his body language showed disapproval. "Why not, Sabina? They'll have to investigate when unknown assassins try to murder you. They can protect you." Alex urged me.
"The World Bank has infiltrated the Australian government. Speaking to the police will reveal my identity, and they will know that Keila Eisenstein is not the person they are after. Besides, I have an important task ahead of me!" I asserted.
"Sabina, you just survived an attempt on your life. You need to rest and recover from the ordeal", Alex pleaded.
"No, I don't have time to rest! There is something I must do!" I said in anger, making Alex take a step back. I continued speaking, "I need to go to Mexico and activate the portal in the Pyramid of the Sun."
"And why is that?" Alex asked cautiously.
"Because the purpose of my reincarnation was to secure the Terran Zeto Crystal and to stop Rangda from conquering the Milky Way Galaxy. I have the Terran Zeto Crystal, and it is charged. I cannot let anything stop me from achieving my goal. "
Alex studied me for a while and then responded with a determined voice: "I am coming with you."
"No, Alex. It is going to be extremely dangerous. I don't want to put you at risk," I said to him.
"We are a team. Never again will I leave your side. We will face adversity together. "Alex said proudly.
I was happy to hear about Alex's faith and love to me. I decided to not argue with him anymore. He had come back for me, and we were clearly meant to fulfil our purpose together.
"Alex, pack a bag and find our passports. I'll call our private jet and tell them to prepare for departure." I said.
"We don't have a private jet?" Alex asked in bewilderment.
"Yes, we do. I bought one the other day from some of the money I made from trading against the World Bank", I responded.
Alex smiled at me and responded in amazement: "You never cease to amaze me, Boss. I'll get us ready to go shortly."
"Good, we have no time to waste!" I urged. I got out of the bath, put on my clothes, and called the private airline.
