When I checked the time, it was 10:30 am. Sebastian and I had a meeting with the agency at 11:00am.
"Sebastian, we have to go if we don't want to be punished again." I say.
Sebastian shivers and says "Yep. Sorry, you two, we have to attend a meeting with our agency."
"Punished?" I hear Randolph ask, at the same time I look out of the window.
"Shit." I whisper. "Sebastian they decided to come to us."
"They did, did they?" He smirks.
"What's happening?" Ramona asks.
"The agency is here. Randolph, we'll answer you later." I say to Randolph and Ramona. "For now, though, let's have some fun." I tell Sebastian.
"Of course, Ghost." He replies, using my nickname.
"Good. 'Cause it's showtime." I snicker.
With that, Sebastian gather our things and go outside. When we get within hearing distance, we find that it's Alexander Duncan, our personal recruit. He's on the phone to someone.
"-Ere making small talk with their targets." He says in a hushed tone.
I smirk as I assume he's saying Sebastian and I are inside talking to our mates.
"Are we now?" I say confidently to capture his attention.
"Shit." He says, and turns to look at us. When he sees who it is he bows his head. "Flame, Ghost." He utters to us in respect.
"What are you doing here Alek?" Sebastian asks trying to make it seem friendly, by using a nickname I gave him when we were kids.
"The agency thinks that you two are gonna turn them over to the Poseidon pack." He says after a long pause, while gesturing to our mates. "And I wanna join."
"Trying for treason now are we?" I ask him.
"Look, you're gonna need an insider, if you do, and they treat us like we're trash."
"Follow us." Sebastian bites out.
"Are we seriously considering this?" I whisper hurriedly.
"Yes, he has a point." Sebastian whispers back.
–––
We'd been sat in silence for half and hour after the introductions. When I finally couldn't stand it.
"Talk." I spit at Alexander.
He flinches. "You and Sebastian are the ones that got me into this. You two can get me out." He remarks.
I open my mouth to speak, but get cut off by a growl. "Don't talk to my mate like that." Randolph snarls dangerously.
"Sorry, Alpha, but it's business." Alexander says to try pacify his anger.
"It's okay, Randolph." I whisper to him. "I didn't give him respect, so I don't expect any back." I say louder, so it was heard by everyone at our table.
"But —"
"Nothing." I say to him. I then turn to Alexander. "Yes, we did get you into this mess, but only after you begged us for years."
"Okay, well, I've got to go and lie to the agency." Alek says.
"Remember what I taught you about lying." Seby retorts.
"You? I learnt everything I need to know from your sister." Alexander snorts and walks away.
"How do you three know each other?" Ramona asks.
"We went to high school together. We were close until Beth and I started travelling." Sebastian tells her sweetly.
I gag at him. Randolph chuckles and whispers "What's wrong sweetie? Are they being too corny? Or is it that you want me to treat you that way?"
"What? No! I'm not a freak, like them!" I exclaim.
"We'll continue this conversation later." He says semi-seriously.
"Of course, babe." I tease. "But Sebastian, we have to go to our childhood home. There's something I need to get, and Randolph, can we stay with you at your pack house?" I say getting down to business.
"You don't need to ask to stay with me, my mate." Randolph whispers into my ear hotly, making me blush.
"Sure, sis, but what do you need, and how do you know where our childhood house is?" Sebastian takes his turn to talk.
"Somethi– wait, someone uncle wouldn't let me bring to Los Santos, and none of your business." I say childishly.
I ended our conversations there until we were talking about our driving arrangements.
"How about Randolph and I go with the bags, and you and Sebastian go in the car you brought?" I propose to Ramona when the boys went to the toilet.
"That works for me. We just need to ask the guys." She says, and I groan. "What's wrong with asking the boys?" Ramona asks curiously.
"Sebastian is difficult." I say. "He always defies me, despite my reputation and that I'm older." I explain my answer.
She doesn't get the chance to reply as we see the boys returning.
"By all means, continue discussing travel arrangements." Randolph says cockily, as a result Ramona and I roll our eyes at him. He just chuckles at us.
"Well, you obviously heard our conversation, what do you think about our conclusion?" I ask.
"Wait. What conclusion?" Sebastian questions.
"Well, I thought you and I could go in the car Randolph and I came in, and Randolph and Bethany go in the car you two came in." Ramona takes the lead, and throws me a wink.
"Yeah, Randolph and I like that arrangement." Seby says for the both of them.
With that we're off on our way, Randolph and I leading the way.
