When we arrive, I cut the engine and say "This is it." To myself in a whisper.
"Let's go, beautiful." Randolph says to me. I nod, and with that we step out of the car and walk to meet each other at the front of the car, to hold hands.
"Aww, how cute." I hear Sebastian say sarcastically. "Now what are we here for?" He demands.
I ignore him and take out my key to unlock the door. As soon as the door's unlocked, I open it and walk to my old room, to find the foxes, Jayce and Valerie. Jayce was a red fox with a cream coloured chest, whereas, Valerie was a pure white fox. They both had blue eyes.
"Hey guys." I greet them.
"Hi Beth." They reply in unison.
I chuckle at their cuteness. "Right you two, get in your carrier. I need to grab a few items from my safe and we'll head out."
"Safe?" Sebastian asks.
"This is where I escape you. Has been since we were fourteen." I answer and turn to put the code in the safe where I stash sacred weapons.
When I pull my most recent machete out everyone gasps.
"That one hasn't even come out yet." Sebastian whispers in awe.
"I have my connections with my favourite companies." I retort.
"Of course you do." Randolph says exasperatedly. We both chuckle at this.
"I'm ready to go now." I decide.
"Good." They all say.

When we pull up, to the pack house, I suddenly feel nervous, I'm about to meet the people who mean everything to him.
"What's wrong with you, baby?" A now concerned Randolph asks me.
"I'm going to meet your pack." I whisper, as if realisation has just hit me.
"Hey," He says soothingly. "They're gonna love you, and if they don't I know you will show them their places." He finishes with a grin.
"Yeah, thank you." I smile at him with adoration.
"Ready to go now?" Randolph asks.
I nod at him and start to climb out.
"I'll get the foxes." He says.
"I wouldn't if I were you, they don't like new people." I reply distractedly, he pays no attention to my warning and gets them anyway.
"Really?" He asks, a smirk evident in his voice. "They love me." He chuckles.
I turn to look at him and Jayce and Valerie are climbing all over him. "Huh. What happened to 'We don't love or trust anyone but each other and you'?" I ask them.
"Well you seem to trust them, so we do." Valerie answers for the two of them.
"Fine. Whatever you say."

When we enter we are holding hands, everyone claps for the four of us, and I hide my face in Randolph's shoulder.
Randolph's shoulders shake and I know he is holding back laughter. "I told you that they'd love you." He whispers into my ear.
"Not everyone loves me." I whisper back as I look around, and meet eyes with a girl my age who holds hatred in her eyes. I glance over at Sebastian who is looking at the boy standing next to the same girl I was just looking at. "If you two have a problem with my brother and I tell us, maybe we can settle it." I say to them.
"Yeah, we do have a problem with you two." The boy replies. "It should be me and my sister with them, not you two."
"Well what are we going to do about that?" Sebastian asks sarcastically.
"We challenge you both to a fight. The winners will be the mates of the alpha and his sister." The girl says glaring at me.
"And the losers?" I smirk.
"Admitting defeat already?" The boy asks.
"Nope, just wondering what will happen to you and your sister, after my brother and I win."
The girl growls. "The losers will be banned from the pack, forever."
I look to Sebastian who has excitement in his eyes practically jumping at the challenge.
"Don't. Lara and Lucas are two of our best fighters." Ramona says to us.
"Then we have worthy opponents, don't we, Ghost?" Sebastian says cockily.
"Indeed we do, Flame." I reply.
Everyone around us gasps at the news.
"Don't do it Lara, she's the most feared assassin in America." I hear someone tell the girl.
