Chapter 5 - One Big Happy Family!

Mollie was shocked. How did her mother work it out without her having to say much? she didn't expect that her mother would know so soon without telling her. Anyone that saw this would already know the answer as Mollie was really bad at hiding her expression. Mollie could tell that they already knew the answer so she didn't try to hide it anymore.

'I'm so sorry! I don't regret it but I regret not telling you the truth earlier.' Mollie pleaded, 'I really am sorry! Please forgive me!'

Her mother was clearly moved by this, she ran up to Mollie and held her tightly embracing her with her warm, motherly hug. She gently stroked Mollie's head slowly, trying her best to make her feel better.

Mollie was only a young girl, with hardly any experience in her lovelife. But atleast she knows what she wants. She was to become an adult in less than a months time. She was responsible enough to have a child with a fatherly figure by her side anyway. No matter whether her mother thought is was right or not, she had no say in her daughter's life whereas she would be there for her daughter by all means even if her daughter was in the wrong. She loves her daughter very much and that must be how Mollie feels about her child too. She must respect her daughters decisions as she will be an adult very shortly.

There is only one problem though, future plans are all ruined now that Mollie is pregnant with another man's child. This is a big thing.

"A Few Minutes Later"

The mother and daughter pair broke their embrace finally.

Her mother spoke out again, 'so, could you please atleast tell us the name of this guy you are in love with?'

'Yes, child. Tell us now!' her father chimmed in and broke the peacefulness.

'His name is Kyle Wittern, he is in my music class too. I've known him for about nearly four years. He's fairly poor but that doesn't change anything. He's very kind, gentle and loyal.' Mollie slowly explained.

'You say he's poor, huh? Of course, it changes everything! How's he going to look after you and your baby then?' her father sneered.

'For now, you guys will help and he will do the best he can. After school ends, he will try to get a well paid job and spend most of the money on our child.' Mollie already had this planned out with Kyle.

'Of course, as long as he is a decent guy who is responsible and loyal to you, it will be fine.' her mother smiled lightly.

'Thank you so much, mum!' Mollie smiled, 'this means a lot to me as you are my parents and the last thing I need for my baby is to get stressed and upset.'

'We will need to meet him shortly, so do plan that whenever you can, dear,' her mother kindly replied.

'Actually, he's outside waiting patiently for us to let him in after I had told you,' she said, 'if that is alright with you.'

'Yes, let him in. I will see if he is good enough for you.' her father said arrogantly.

'Sure,' Mollie then went up to the door to open it. When she did, she could see Kyle's car on the other side of the road. She took out her phone and texting him saying, 'look to my house, I'm at the door. Come inside!'

He replied, 'I had expected that you would never end up opening the door to let me in or atleast take longer than you actually did. Seems like they took it better than we had imagined.'

'I know, get here now.' she sent this and then switched off her phone screen.

She could see his car opening, then his slim, slightly-athletic body gracefully stepping out of the car. He looked up to meet her eyes, then moved his eyes slightly to next to her to see her tall and aggressive-looking father. Kyle was rather afraid of entering the house after witnessing his frightening gaze looking upon himself. Trying his best to not notice this, he closed the car door and casually walked up to the door.

Once he got there, he smiled lightly at Mollie's father and held his hand out for a handshake. Surprisingly, Mollie's father shook Kyle's hand without looking angry and nodded at him.

After being let into the house, he closed the door behind him. He asked, 'I am very sorry for what I have done, but I don't regret it. I take full responsibility for Mollie's actions that night!' Kyle explained.

Mollies mum was pleased about what he had said. She could see that he was being blunt, and would explain to them whatever he thought should be necessary. This was a good thing as he wasn't going to keep anything important away from their family. She was also pleased because he said something very similar to what Mollie had said, which meant that they had similar behaviours and could understand eachother well. This was important for being parents; no regular arguments, or lies. Much better than what she could do.

'Thank you for being so direct with us,' her mother thanked him.

Kyle smiled and said, 'sir and madame, what should I address you both as?'

'You can just call me Mrs Harrison, and my husband Mr Harrison.' Mrs Harrison answered. 'Should my husband and I just simply call you Kyle?'

'Oh, yeah. Whatever you want to call me, I don't mind.' Kyle said while looking down.

'Look up! I will not tolerate you to look down for anything. It would show disgrace to our family name in the future. As you are the father of my daughters child, then you are no longer qualified to act as the inferior. You must look our Harrison family in the eye, no matter what situation, or else you are not worth of Mollie's love.' Mr Harrison said rather harshly, although Kyle simply found it as a compliment.

'Okay then,' Kyle looked up into Mr Harrison's eyes and nodded respectfully while holding a small smile.

Mollie never expected it to go this smoothly... She was slightly suspicious that her parents might be faking everything but as soon as Kyle leaves, they will scold her so much. She even had suspicions that her parents could be planning some 'tests' for Kyle and was worried that if they did, then he might not pass them.

'They aren't that mean, right?' Mollie said to herself. After a while, she decided to let her negative thoughts go and to just let life go as it wants to go.

After this, they had a long conversation just getting to know eachother, for what seemed like forever. They looked so friendly towards eachother - other than the naturally cold look on Mr Harrison's face. If someone were to witness this, they would think that they were one big happy family.

Although this didn't seem right. It shouldn't have gone this well. Something wasn't right.
