(..The point of view changes..)
The bath was soothing against the subsiding sting on Apophis's cheek. His mind twisting around as he soaked. He sighed heavily and slowly rose from the water, his steps slow and considerate as he grabbed the royal blue towel, quickly drying himself of with ease. Apophis started to dress, pulling his pants up and buttoning them when he felt the sudden wave of power. He paused, shocked; the power shaking the ground as it pulsed.
"Kasey...." His eyes locked onto the door and he darted to it, throwing it open as he looked around the room, "Kasey?!" He looked at the stairs to the underground room. His movements swift as he ran down the steps, his footfalls echoing with the pulses of powers. He darted into the room and stopped, the fire before him swirling and hissing in anger. He narrowed his eyes and let his flames from within burst around him, green tendrils fighting against the fiery hot pink that struck out at him. He slowly walked into the flames, his eyes scanning the ground around him as he shut out his worry.
The flames were covering her whole body, small snakes of black fire slipping from her as he watched, his emotions suddenly sliding through his mind. He dropped down beside her, touching her cheek as he looked over her. She looked like she was in pain. Not physical pain, but emotional pain. "Kasey...Kasey it's okay." He gently stroked her cheek, her flinch the only sign of life.
"What have you done to her?!" Apophis looked him in surprise as the figure stepped out of the black swirling portal. Samael growled as he stalked closer.
"I didn't do anything to her." Apophis stood and moved in front of Kasey, blocking Samaels path.
"You didn't do anything to her??" He chuckled deeply, his eyes burning with anger. "Then why the hell is there flames coming from her, Apophis?"
"I don't know–" Samael moved faster than Apophis could track, his hand closing around Apophis's throat as he winced.
"Bullshit." Samael threw apophis to the side, the force sending Apophis into the wall, his yelp barely audible from the roaring anger in Samael's ears. He crouched down and slowly picked Kasey up gently. As he turned towards the portal again, Kedar slipped through and looked at him. Without a glance at Apophis, Samael walked into the portal, mumbling to Kedar, "Get him."
"Wait, Samael!" Apophis quickly stumbled to his feet, as Kedar looked at him with pleasure. "Samael, please–" He stumbled back as Kedar charged at lightning speed, black fire and smoke pushing him forward. "Wait–!!!"
Samael looked down at the woman in his arms, her flames subsiding slowly as screams and Kedars growl moved farther and farther away.
"I'm so sorry...Kasey..." Samael sighed softly and gently kissed Kasey's head. Her flames dissipating and fading away.
As Samael stepped back out of the portal, he glanced around the new room that was designed just for Kasey, his approval quickly fading away as he refocused on Kasey. He slowly set her down onto her new bed, her face relaxing to a peaceful look. The portal behind him closed, setting a new one in the hall mentally. Apophis screamed in pain as Kedar ripped him through the portal. The beasts growls renovating across the walls. Samael watched Kasey for a moment, before walking to the door, and leaving. Letting the door close softly, the door's click leaving Samael with a sense of relief...and boiling anger. Samael slowly stalked down the hall, glancing at the blood on the floor, a sneer of disgust forming as he grabbed onto Apophis's injured body. Without hesitation, Samael growled at Latifa, her eyes on the ground and filled with dread.
"Clean this mess up.." Samael walked on, Kedar walking beside him as he dragged Apophis on the floor.
"Samael...please–" Apophis weakly coughed, blood spilling from the corner of his mouth, his hand holding onto the gaping hole in his side.
"Shut up..." Samael glanced back at his new pet, a small glow making his eyes burn like a golden flame. The hall was dim and seemed to be coated with slithering darkness, the metallic stench filling both demons noses as they moved. Cahtora smirked at Samael and his new prize that was wheezing softly as his wounds slowly healed. Kedar bounded forward, moving to the very back of the damp prison.
"Did you bring me a new toy, Samael~?" Cahtora walked closer, a hand sliding onto Samael's shoulder, her soft smiling growing seducing and viscous at once.
"Make sure our guest here has a comfy room. Make him feel at home." Samael dropped the collar of Apophis's shirt, letting his weak body fall to the floor. He turned and left without a word; Cahtora looking down at the demon lord.
"It's nice to see you again, Apophis. I was hoping to see you next in bed, not exactly in chains.. but chains will do.." She smiled sweetly at him, his smile hiding the pain and worry that was bubbling inside him like a stew in a witch's pot.
"Nice to see you too...Cahtora." Another weak coughed causing him to groan in pain.
"Shall we go?" She asked, her grip already on the shirt of his collar again, dragging him the rest of the way to the room Kedar excitedly paced in.
Apophis grimaced and knew that even when he gathered his strength, he wasn't going to leave this place alive.
