There was a hundred story temple hidden within the oldest mountain ranges of the Moon Artemis Continent - The Rising Sky Temple. On the top floor the High Priest opened his eyes.
There was a strong fluctuation in the spiritual plane. What could that be? He'd never felt such energy at once.
Then it just vanished as soon as it appeared. He had to put his cultivation on hold for this anomaly. He must find out what it was. He would mobilize the best priests to find the source.
He was at a bottleneck in his cultivation. If he could absorb the source of this energy, he could definitely become the strongest on this continent and maybe in the world.

Lilia lit a candle and looked at her surroundings. She shook her head. It was bad but she had seen worse. The poor child was clearly a hoarder, a sign of instability. All the love she received was here. Many of these things were old and falling apart. It was too depressing to think someone could live this way when the rest of her family was having the time of their life.
She looked at the broken bed. She didn't feel like sleep but it was night. This body was too malnourished. If wind blew, she was certain it would take her away. She wanted to leave this sh*tty place but she was aware she needed strength and money- two things she didn't have.
She remembered her previous life and her unfinished business with Peter. Was this the Heavens' way of telling her to move on? They could have at least set her up with a rich husband. She would have just spent the rest of her days spending money and traveling around the world like no one's business.
Well whatever, she could make her own wealth as soon as she figured out a way to make good money.
She began to spread the sheets on the broken bed.
Bam!
The front door flew off its hinges. Standing there were three young teenage girls dressed to the nines in colorful silk gowns. They looked familiar but Lilia couldn't tell from where. They were gorgeously made up. They would have been perfect dolls if they didn't have an angry scowl on their face. Behind them stood several female servants, each holding a torch.
What the hell was this? A witch hunt?
Lilia stared at them blankly. Tonight seemed to be getting cold. What was she going to do about her door?
"You dumb wench," What looked to be the second eldest stepped forward. "You finally decided to show your face after embarrassing your older sister like that! Do you think you could escape punishment! Grandmother can't protect you now! You f****ing trash. Wait till we're done with you. You won't even know your own name."
Lilia's mind was blank for a moment. "Oh your…" The eldest one was her sister, Zaza. The one barking like a mad dog was Aline and the youngest was Petra-they were her cousins.
Suddenly, Lilia was hit with a ball of energy that sent her flying towards the bed. She coughed up blood.
Just great. Not even a full day back from the dead and people were trying to kill her. To make matters worse, she had no idea how to counterattack.
"Grab the b*tch!" Aline yelled. The servants behind Aline filled into the room and roughly grabbed Lilia up by the arms. They dragged her out of the room. Her body was too shocked but she tried to wrestle out of their grip.
Damn this body. If that Ezer guy was going to give her a new one, couldn't he had made it a little more durable? But I guess he couldn't make more when there originally wasn't much to work with.
She stopped wrestling when they reached outside. She needed to conserve energy and catch them off guard.
"You dumb wh*re, Petra said. "Did you think you could find a rich husband if you went to Grandma to complain? You were meant to lick my feet. You will never get married before us. No one wants you. Before that we'll throw you to the guards to have as their toy."
Wow. Ok. What was up with these girls? They were practically children. How could they say such vulgar things. And what grandmother? The last memory was over a week ago. The grandmother had gotten sick and "Lilia" couldn't speak with her much.
"There is no way you will come to the winter solstice ball," Aline said.
Lilia noticed, Zaza didn't say a word the whole time. What game was she playing?
Well, Lilia wasn't going to find out.
They dragged her across the unkempt courtyard. They were going east, to their courtyard. Lilia couldn't leave her courtyard or else there wouldn't be a good chance for escape. Lilia was still and as limp as she could be. Then suddenly she placed al her strength in a sharp twist. The arms holding her instantly lost their grip. She didn't waste time and hit the ground running. She made a large u-turn and ran behind her small shack.
The wall there was broken down for ages but no one ever bothered to fix it. Without losing speed, she jumped over the wall.
The servants were shocked for a moment. They barely say where she went. There was only a shadow that flew by them. By the time they really grasped what had happened, Lilia was half gone.
"What the hell are you doing?," Aline screeched. "Get her!"
Both the servants and the young misses ran after her.
Lilia ran into a clearing. There was tall grass that reached halfway up her arm, cutting at the thin fabric. Lilia wasn't ready to fight when she didn't know the rules. When it was day, she would definitely try to find this grandmother and hug her thigh until she could figure something out for herself.
She didn't want to look back to see how close they were to her. There was a shadow of darkness up ahead. It was the woods. She could quickly climb up a tree and sleep there for tonight.
The servants didn't let up but when they say Lilia heading into the woods, they began to wonder how much this girl feared death. Didn't she know the forest was practically forbidden grounds. Only hunters were truly brave enough to venture in. All their misses were going to do was give her a good beating.but the forest had too much hidden dangers and it was easy to get lost. There were too many dangerous beasts the deeper you got.
They stopped when they realized their torches weren't bright enough to guide them.
"Why the hell did you stop?!" Aline yelled.
The servants held their head down in shame and fear. Finally one brave soul answered. "Miss, the forest has always been warned for its dangers. If she doesn't come out it would be her own fault. We won't be blamed. At least once a year someone disappears and never come out."
Aline originally wanted to slap the servant for even opening her mouth but then she realized there was some sense in her words. This may be it. They could finally be done with this human stain on their family name. No matter the level of skill each girl held, the value of their marriage match was greatly reduced when they had such a bad luck charm attached to their family name.
Zaza could officially compete for the crown prince's affection without worry. She personally hoped they couldn't even find a hair to prove she existed.
