A wail fell over the snowy environment as a baby was born. The mother had struggled desperately in a cold, damp cave for hours to give birth to this newborn and now held him in a swaddled cloth looking at him with a loving expression. A light luminescence seemed to cover the babies skin radiating magic, which surprised the mother before she accepted it. She remembered who this babies father was and considering who he was; it would be surprising if this baby didn't scream special.
The mother was a beautiful 20-year old woman with Brilliant green eyes and straight brown hair. Her small 5-foot 6-inch form lay there resting after childbirth as she held her baby and looked into his eyes. The babies platinum eyes shone with intelligence as he looked back at her.
The woman had managed to give birth to a baby boy and gave him the name Elias and gave him his father's family name Essel.
Shouting could be heard far in the distance causing the mother to look at Elias with a sad expression.
Her soft and warm voice barely echoed in the cave as she said to her babe, "Life is hard, Elias. I wish I could be apart of your life, but sadly I can't for your safety as well as mine. You have to survive Elias Essel."
The young mother's voice cracked as she said goodbye to her baby. An average person would have taken weeks to recover from childbirth. This Mother had already walked away from her newborn minutes after his birth.
The Babies cries carried far in the crisp snowy air to a wolfs den. A winter wolf howled out into the night before bounding through the snow toward the baby still wailing in the snow. The wolf neared the Baby and felt its comforting aura. As the wolf got closer, the baby stopped crying and looked at the wolf curiously as the wolf had a similar look. The baby managed to unswaddle a hand that reached out toward the wolf, and the wolf lowered its head for little Elias to touch. The baby gently stroked its snout, and the wolf seemed to enjoy it as it made deep purr. The wolf looked at the baby after a time and felt concern for this pup and began to pick it up with its mouth gently.
The Wolf carried the boy to its den and cuddled with it making little Elias very content as he fell into a deep slumber.
