Elias and his father had been traveling the road between villages for a few hours before He heard a sound a familar howl. Erik tensed even taking out his sword, getting ready for a fight. Erik had been to the Beastman village many times and so knew how wild its residence could be at times. The howl came closer until it seemed as if a wild creature was right on top of them.
As white wolf came out of the brush and rushed toward Elias, Erik raised his sword to strike the white blur, but he was to slow, and the wolf knocked Elias off his horse. To Eriks surprise, the wolf did not try to tear his son apart but instead started to purr when he was close enough and wagged his tail like an obedient pup. The wolf licked Elias's face making Elias laugh and hug the gigantic white wolf.
Elias felt like he had met the wolf before. Erik confused, ask Elias, "how in the blazes did you tame such a mangy mutt." The white wolf suddenly let loose a deep growl in the direction of Erik, which scared the horse he was on. The nervous horse proceeded to stand on its hindlegs knocking Erik off his horse, making little Elias Laugh. Erik scowled at Elias, making him stop abruptly. Elias pushes the white wolf off of him, laughing at the pouting wolf face.
Elias asked with some excitement, "can I keep him. I promise I will take care of him and everything."
Erik looked at his son with some bewilderment; he wondered to himself what kind of man he raised under his roof that could tame wolves he had never met before in seconds. Erik was sure of one thing his son would not have a boring life.
Erik took the wolf as a sign of the gods how could he possibly deny their present to his son. In a gruff voice, he said, "sure Elias, but you have to keep it well fed and wash it regularly."
Erik and Elias mounted their horses and continued ridding with their new companion following behind them. Not long after their encounter with the white wolf Elias decided to name Sin which the wolf seemed to like very much, they arrived at the next village.
The village Elder came out to greet the Mighty Erik and his son Elias. The Elder surprised Elias when he saw he was quite a young man around the age of 20 or 30 with a powerful muscled form. Though Elias supposed that was typical in a day and age where 50 name days was considered very old.
The young Elder greeted them by saying, "Hello Chief Erik of the human tribe I Ansel of the beast tribes Great you."
The Two Village leader exchange pleasantries Elias barely listened but was distracted by Ansel's beautifully crafted ring. Ansel also took a glance at Elias and took note of his Wolf companion. Ansel wondered to himself how such a beautiful boy could come from his Grizzly friend.
Erik told Elias to stay outside so he and Ansel could talk in private and gave him a little money to explore the wares that were sold in the open market.
Elias walked away with his white wolf toward the open market not far away.
The village was slightly larger than Elias's. The streets seemed to bustle with people where his old town was peaceful and homely. As Elias walked, people could not help but notice the boy. His platinum hair and platinum eyes made him stand out, but the white wolf following close behind helped even more.
