Synopsis
In high school, Maggie fell in love with Adam. Determined to go to medical school, he was smart and sweet, and on her sixteenth birthday they kissed for the first time. Despite her belief that love lasts forever, Adam moved away with his family and they eventually lost touch. A year ago, Maggie ran into Adam in London and found out he was married… Wanting to change the course of her life, she decided to forget her miserable past. Who would have thought they’d have another shot at a reunion so soon?

Chapter 1 - Chapter - 1

Adam Donnelly..... The man I loved more than anyone...

But I will forget about him…..

So that I can start anew and move on.

"Maggie." Adam called

Maggie was shocked to see Adam and got into thinking.

But why...… Adam is here….. Why did you have to come back now?

Suddenly a boy from the paramedical team started calling. His name is Jack and he works with Maggie.

"Maggie, let's go. An old man is having a heart attack outside of town.

Hurry! His wife will never forgive us if we get there too late."

Maggie sat in the ambulance and left. Adam was standing there and watching her go.

"Paramedics are always on the go. I'm amazed. Of course, doctors are the same when they have an emergency case." Hazel comes to Adam and Said. Hazel is a old member of the hospital that works at hospital.

"Are you done for the day, Adam?"

"Yes, almost time for shift change, Hazel."

"I'm happy to have you back in Penhally. I didn't think you would come back from London after establishing yourself as a great doctor."

"I'm still just a resident."

They walk toward to the hospital and on the other hand, the paramedical team bringing the patient to the hospital in an ambulance.

"Stay with us! Don't leave your wife just yet!"

Maggie was pressing the patient's chest continuously and trying to stabilizing him.

"There you go!"

After stabilize him she sat calmly in the ambulance and a team member who drive the ambulance asked her.

"How's the patient?"

"Good. We did our job. Now it's the doctor's turn."

"Let's hurry to the hospital."

I'm proud of my dark green uniform. But in term of hierarchy I healthcare, Adam is way higher up than me. He's beyond my reach in many ways. It won't be like when we were in school....

Suddenly she looked out.

Bicycles. They must belong to some kids. It's quit far from Penhally...

Somewhere in town tonight, five kids will be scolded for not coming home in time for dinner.

They arrived at the hospital and get off ambulance. Patient admitted to hospital. All paramedical team breathed a sigh of relief.

"Ah, you're back. How did it go?" Hazel asked to Maggie.

"I'm sure he will be fine."

"Oh, good."
