They follow that voice. Chasing that voice, they reached towards a mind entrance.
".....A mine entrance?" Adam saw and told.
"It's completely covered….." Jack told. They were standing towards the entrance. Then Maggie suddenly made a voice.
"Is somebody there?"
Then different kinds of voices started coming from inside.
"Right here", "yehhhh", "I'm hungry", "Waaaa", "Here".
"Speak up, just one of you. How many are there?" Adam asked them.
"There are five of us." Someone said to Adam."
"Jem….. Kate's son, Jeremiah Althorp. Are you there too?" Adam asked them and he tried to peek inside the mind by the flashlight.
"That's me!"
When they heard this, they breathed a sigh of relief. Jem also said.
"The rock fell on Tel, and that broke the flashlight. It's all dark in here. We can't get out."
Maggie started thinking. They're courageous and clam. If I were them... No... I wouldn't even get close to this area…..
Maggie's attention was broken by Adam's voice.
"Maggie, call the rescue team and the practice. Let them know where we are. They went in from this hole. It's not big enough for an adult to enter. We can try to open it up until the rescue team gets here…"
Maggie immediately calls Hazel.
"Hazel? Please tell Kate that we found Jem."
"Really! That's great."
"And the injured child isn't Jem. It's Tel. But we can't get to him yet. The entrance to hole is blocked. But the rescue team should be here soon….."
On the other hand, Kate takes a call from Hazel and says.
"Maggie ! Please bring Jem home safe! Please Maggie! He's my only child."
"Don't worry. I promise. He's a courageous boy."
"Thank you, Maggie."
Other side.. Adam and jack was trying to remove the stones so that they could go in. Adam was also talking to the children to know the condition inside.
"Is your friend hurt badly?"
"We can't see anything. But the rock is still on him. The floor is wet, so he might be bleeding. He doesn't respond when we call him and Chris too. He's not bleeding, but he said he can't move his hand."
"The rescue team is on its way. But they said it may take some time." Maggie came to Adam and said.
"The rocks are blocking the view. It looks like the inside is also collapsed. It's not easy to open up the entrance either. We might even end up destroying the walls and aggravating the situation…"Adam told.
They were all worried about that what to do? They could not wait for the rescue team. Then suddenly Adam told Maggie.
Maggie..... There's a boy who's inured and bleeding under the rock. It's an emergency. As you can see, the entrance is too small for Jack or me to enter. I hate ask you this knowing how hard it is for you.
Maggie retreated after listening to Adam and said.
"I can't…"
