Chapter 6 - Chapter - 6

As Maggie began to leave, Adam held her hand tightly. It was clearly written on Adam's face that he does not want to let her go. But he can't do anything about it. He leaves Maggie. After leaving Adam's hand, Maggie realizes her old attachment to Adam.

"Maggie here's the kit." Adam said.

"Thank you." She takes the kit and goes inside the tunnel.

Stay focused Maggie. At the end of this tunnel, there are five kids waiting for help.

"Maggie! Are you alright? How are you felling?" Adam said.

"It's a bit different from a stroll in a flower garden. It's all dark."

"Then just imagine that you're in a flower garden. There are already daffodils out in most of the gardens around Penhally."

Right. Think of something fun. Something fun. Like our school days. Short and skinny fifteen year old. Margaret Pascoe has a big crush on senior Adam Donnelly. One day she finally got him to talk to her and wait for a bus together. When I turned sixteen, together we chased the same dream of going into medical field.

"Ouch!" break her focus and she falls.

"What happened? Maggie!"

"It's alright. The wood beams to support the ceiling are rotten and falling apart. I just bumped into one with my head."

"Your head?"

"It's nothing."

So ironic. After deciding to forget about, Adam to move on, I am relying on my memories with him to move forward in this tunnel.

"Jem! Where are you?" Maggie walks in and screams.

"Straight ahead. I can see the light. The tunnel goes down from here, and there are big rocks everywhere. I wanted to go out to ask for help, but I couldn't go on without the light." Jem said.

"I'm coming." Maggie said.

"It's too dangerous for a girl."

"I used to do mountain climbing with ropes in college and still do rock climbing. I'll be okay."

".....Then..... you have to go over this rock. Please be careful."

"Someone's here for us!" All children become cheer when they hear someone coming to save them.

"Hey.... She's not a rescue team." When children see Maggie, they get depressed because they think girls can't do anything.

...…..When this is over, I should visit their school...…

And teach them that nowadays women can do all kinds of risky work.

She sees the wounds of the children.

This is bad...

"Who else is injured?"
