It's been a year since my parents died in a car accident.
I was with them,
people were able to rescue me just before our car hits the bottom of that cliff.
The car blew up as it hits the floor, with them, in it.
After a month I woke up in a hospital bed, alone, cold, dark.
I know I am in the hospital because of the scent of alcohol.
I tried to touch my other hand and felt an IV.
Until my hands touched my head.
I felt something, bandages.
From my head down to my my eyes.
"Maybe this is the reason why I can't see anything,"
But then, a feeling of someone is watching you hits me.
"Is there someone inside my room?" I asked, a little nervous.
"Talk, or I am going to scream," I said, in a loud voice.
"Hey," a man's voice.
"Who are you?" I asked, a little nervous.
"I'm... G-Gio," he said.
"Who are you?" I asked again.
"Well, I'm... I work here as nurse," he said.
"Oh, you didn't talk a while ago, that creeps me out,"
"I'm sorry, I just came in," he answered.
So that's the start, we became friends for another month.
Until the doctor told me that I won't be able to see again. My eyes are greatly damaged by shattered glasses from the accident.
I was left alone inside the room crying,
"Hey, It's not yet end of the world," he said laughing.
"Come on, life must move on," him again.
"Where have you been? You were not here a while ago," I asked
"Oh, I have to see the other patients," he answered.
"You always disappear when there are other people here," I said
"No, I can't do that. I am here, it's just that I am not allowed to talk ," he said
"Is that the hospital rules?" I asked again.
"Uhm... yeah, our rules," he answered
"I want you to remember that I will always be here, by your side," he said.
"Can I touch you," I asked
"Probably not right now, maybe next time," he answered.
But then, that was the last time I was able to talk to him.
Until the hospital send me home. Good thing my parents left me with some money in the bank.
"Is this your dog?" The nurse asked.
"Dog?" I asked.
"Yes, there is a dog waiting for you outside a while ago, it just came in," the nurse said.
"I don't know, just leave it there,"
Maybe its Jordan, our neighbors dog.
Until everyone left.
I was about to cry when I felt the dog came and put it's hean in my lap.
"Is that you Jordan?" I asked, as I touched it.
Then Jordan became my eyes, until this day.
"Hey Jordan! Let's go," Calling him in a loud voice.
"What? You don't want to go out?" I ask, as I felt its hesitance to get me.
"Okay, I will still go, I have to, we don't have food anymore," I said.
That's the time he put his leash in my hands.
"Okay, lead me to the grocery store," I said
Then I felf Jordan moving forward. So followed him while holding his leash.
But then I heard a loud scream.
Something hit me. Then everything became black.
Until I open my eyes again.
"I can see now? What happened?" I ask
Then my eyes look for Jordan.
"Jordan!" I shouted as I saw him in the street,
blood everywhere.
I ran towards him but his not moving anymore.
he's dead, my dog is dead.
Then I saw something came out from its body.
A man came out from Jordan's body.
He came to me and ask me to stand up as he held his hand infront of me.
"I told you, I won't go anywhere than near you," he said
"Gio? Are you Gio?" I asked, happily
"Now I can see you, how did it happened?" I asked.
I saw him look at the other side of the street.
"That's me," I said, crying
"I'm sorry, I came to fetch you," he said, then he hold my hand ang hugged me.
"No more pain my love,"
