Chapter 5 - Journey to Hiraeth

ALTER

With the sword Anon left me, and a flask of water, I left for the closest town to me. I walked in the forest for what seemed like hours, and without me noticing it was nightfall. I set up a small camp made of sticks and leaves from the Eutolestious trees, and slept until morning. I woke up with a yawn, comparable to that of a bear stretching its arms in the morning, I needed to get to town only with the purpose to find civilization, Anon told me he could not teach me how to use a command, and it's effects would be decided by my own experience.

"I wonder why Anon waited 400 years for me..." I pondered. Just as I was beginning to think, I saw a road ahead of me, with a signpost stating: Road up ahead leads to the kingdom of Hiraeth, and birthplace to his royal majesty.

"Hiraeth? Anon said I was supposed to go to a town, perhaps I've made a wrong turn, but it's still an unexplored area for me, since it's been 400 years might as well." I laughed. The road stretched for maybe 3 hours before I made contact with another being of intellect, a merchant of sorts, who offered me a ride to the kingdom, I was not ignorant, even 400 years ago the merchants of Ieonoth were cunning, finding ways to abduct the children of Lords, to bargain, but alas in 400 years the fifth son of a king no matter how great, would be forgotten, so I accepted, and I arrived in town for the mere price of 5 copper coins. The town was breathtaking, huge structures, and even proper buildings surrounded the town and, most pleasing of all is that almost all the townsmen were happy, walking with their children and laughing, with food in their mouths. This kingdom accomplished what I did not see during the last 14 years of my life.

I was enjoying the sensation when someone yelled at me from behind. "Halt you! I don't remember you showing me your identification papers, and how did you get past the guards!" I stood there surprised. "Identification papers...?" I muttered.
