Chapter 2 - Forever to be Lost

LOST SOUL

I stared into the void, the calm yet unnerving existence, the void stared back at me, and soon I could see nothing but the darkness, and the feeling of my body disappear. I was afraid, there was no rawer meaning than this, the life after this was all a lie, to sit here for centuries, to rot away and think until you cannot think anymore. The Fifth Prince is dead.

"What?! All of them?!" "Impossible!" "What happens now?" The worries of the people arose, the curious people, the sad people, and the happy people: the aristocracy, the regents, and most definitely the general and the new reigning Queen. However amongst the anguish and joy there remained one who was neither earnestly waiting patiently for someone to come, to awake.

I woke up in a garden with a verity hue danced with gems of green, and flowers of all colors, the sky beckoned me to come, a blue sky full of life, but at the same moment a wave of indigo and black dragged me back down to the cold ocean, my lungs became fire, and my voice became dust and for the longest time, I dreamt of the castle, I dreamt of the stars, so no matter how deep I am dragged down, I will come back.

From the text of New—The world is covered with magic and from the ancient bloodline of the old royals came commands, a form of power untouched by magic, much less a sword, a command must be defeated by a command, the more of ancient blood you have the stronger your commands are as was the first King, but now the bloodline has been scattered across the world, some in drops and some in quarters, but never truly full, but there was a man who had half the ancient blood, his name was Amos, the old sage of the mountains, 3rd in his line.
