Waking up with a painful hangover I realize I'm in the dumpsters. [Hey Max how long was I out]? {....} [Max]? {ITS BEEN A DAY AND IM NOT TALKING TO YOU UNTIL THE MATCHES START}! [Okay geez I might as well go shopping for a while]. I walk around the busy streets noticing that people are avoiding me at all costs. I don't really care though its something I have to live with. *hmm what do I need, oh a map of the lands would be good*.
I head into a cartography shop and take a look around. Inside its dimly lit by torches with shelves filled with paper. There is a desk stained with ink and a counter with a tall thin man standing behind it. "Welco- CRAP WHY IS THAT DEMON HERE"! He looks around with panic and fear. [I need a map of the lands if you give it to me we won't have any problems]. I put down a small sack of coins and lean on the counter considering that it's as tall as me. "A-alright just leave afterwards". He puts a rolled-up piece of paper on the counter I grab it and check it. Its a detailed map of the area depicting major cities. There are no monster cities on it but it works for me. [I'll take it. pleasure doing business with you]. I leave the shop hearing a relieved sigh from the shop owner. [Now its time for Joe to teach me some more fighting techniques, what do you think about that Max]. {...} *Wow he is really keeping his word on this*.
I find Joe and we go outside the city to practice some moves. Like the last time, I get put headfirst into the dirt many times. But I manage to learn a lot and even acquired the Martial Art skill. It also combined with my Claw Art to create Monster Art. Once thats over with I head back to the inn to get some sleep.
The next day arrived with the next tournament in only a day. Not much happened because I spent a day training with Joe again. So I went to the inn and slept. *Man its no fun without Max its like the days just go by without him. I drift off into sleep dreaming about being surrounded by friends as we all drank our hearts out. I wish it could have lasted longer but it couldn't.
{CRIMSON CRIMSON WAKE UP}! [Mmm what's going on I was having a great dream]. I rub my eyes to shake off the drowsiness I felt. {THE TOURNAMENT IS STARTING SOON YOUR GOING TO BE LATE}! [OH SHIT]! I grab my armor and rush out the door not even putting it on since if I'm late I won't be able to get in.

I rush through the streets dodging through people as best I can. I start coming up on the waiting room. I hear the two guards stationed them. "He's coming close the door gets him disqualified". *Oh hell no I'm not about to be disqualified.

Before the door closes I phase right through the crack and get inside. "Nice job now he won't be able to ruin the festival any more". "Yeah right plus we can get that bonus to". [Yeah great job you really showed him]. They look at me with dumbfounded looks as I walk to the table I usually sit at. Since its the Masters Tournament the number of people here decreased but their still was a fair amount of people attending.
I wait for a couple of minutes but no announcements have been made yet. [What do you think is going on]? I finish putting on my armor as I try to start a conversation with Max. {Dont know their probably trying to figure out who is going to go against who}. [Yeah probably]. Once I finished talking to Max I heard a group of girl participants shrieking. It wasn't a scared shriek but an Oh my gosh kind of shriek. I turn my head in the direction of the screams as I find that people are splitting into a makeshift honor guard. Walking in the middle was a young man with an ornate sword. He wore a set of golden armor and had scantily clad girls clinging to him as he walked. [You know I thought the most disturbing thing I saw would be the goblin den but now I'm starting to have second guesses]. {I can see what you're talking about}.
"EEEE MR.HERO SIR" [WAIT WHAT]. every girl in the room was swooning over him as he walked through the room. He had an I'm better than you look on him. It's like this guy was designed to piss me off. [I can't believe that clown is a hero it's like he cares more about girls than anything else]. {Whos the one who was shouting wheres the heroin a couple of weeks ago}? [Shut your trap and never speak of that again the dungeon was making me crazy]. We continue arguing with each other as the announcer started speaking again.
"First contestants will be John and Ben". Two humans head to the stadium as I decide to study up on who im going up against. [Well I wonder who we are going to face first]. {we shall see when that time comes]. There were some things I was interested in. Now that we are in the masters its a fight to the death now and they revive the loser. You also have to kill your opponent to as they can't give up. I watch the two men go at it. eventually the one wielding two daggers had his head chopped off by the man with a glaive.
[Oh eww]. I nearly hurl on reflex. This was a brutal competition that was not forgiving the loser had to go through the pain of death while the victor obtained glory beyond imagination. Hell, even the King showed up. [Looks like we will need to be careful]. {Yeah, we will}. I continue watching as I wait for my turn. Eventually, the announcer comes on again. "Next match is between Harry and Crimson come to the stage, please. I walk up to the stage as the crowd boos like im about to sing a horrible song. "And now the moment you all have been waiting for HARRY".
The Hero, in golden armor, walks onstage as the stadium actually shakes from the cheering. All the women in the audience swoon as he walks up to center the stage. It went on for a while until the king hushed everybody in the audience. The king speaks up, "Now My future son in law slay this demon for our entertainment., you have the power of light so make this demon know what fear is". The king sits back down and the cheers erupt once again.
I have a very dissatisfied look on my face, the Hero this time starts to speak. "What's wrong demon thought you would be allowed to live"? [Well doesn't this thing usually work its way up with more climatic fights each time until the finals where the two finally meet for a climactic fight]? "What the hell, your acting like some sort of protagonist, if anything I'm the protagonist".
The hell is wrong with this cocky bastard he acts like hes some sort of nutjob. "Now demon lets get this over with I have some girls who need attention". *HES THINKING ABOUT GIRLS MORE THAN THE FIGHT ITSELF WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS MAN. [What is it with you and girls every single on of them swoon over you]. "Wait really I've never noticed". [Wait What]. "Well you see my entire party is made of girls and for some reason, they get mad and hit me whenever I mention the princess". [HOW DENCE ARE YOU]! "What are you talking about"? *Maybe death wouldnt be so bad right now*. [Screw it lets just start this thing]. Before anything happens I decide to check his status to see how strong he is. [Status]

Holy crap he has a lower Intelligence than me that makes me feel accomplished. He had many more skills but these are the ones shown because its what he mainly uses. With those stats, it's no wonder that he doesn't use other more complicated skills but its a waste since there are some pretty good skills there. The announcer came overhead again. "AND BEGIN"! This is my first Fight with a hero and im excited. [All right Max no holding back]. {You got it} Max comes out of my shadows wielding his greatsword in his snout. Screams of fear erupted from the crowd and the hero looked confused. "Status" I heard him activate the skill knowing he is going through my status. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WITH THIS KOBOLD"!
