I let out a long and deep sigh. *So this is their plan kill me off and refuse to resurrect me they made me face the hero in the first round to*. "BEGIN"! [Before we begin]. The Hero who was about to charge us pauses. "What is it"? [You saw my skills didn't you]. "So"? [Than you know I checked yours as well right]? He freezes "Yo-You did have that Hero only skill Status didn't you". I grin maniacally. [Thats right meaning neither of us has anything to hide]! "What is it demon". He nearly snarls at me like I'm an obstacle to him being special.
The crowd, however, is completely frozen at the revelation that a Kobold has the status skill. Hushed whispers were everywhere as multiple rumors spread. [As you know I am a pure-blooded Kobold and not a demon, Secondly, I have a class, Thirdly I seem to have a lot of strange abilities]. "What are you trying to get at Kobold". [Im saying that the god of light has abandoned you all]. I spread my arms out as I stand on one leg. [Hes gone and it's only a matter of time before monsters take over]. Of course, I was bluffing though this is only to make him mad and sloppy as well as prevent other humans from messing with me from now on.
"H-HES LYING"! "HE WOULD NEVER ABANDON US"! The crowd begins to panic and scream the only person able to know the truth is the Hero in front of me. "QUITE THAT BLATANT BULLSHIT AND JUST FIGHT"! [Oh says the little dog of the god]! It worked he immediately charged me swinging in a sloppy movement. I jump over him using his head to launch myself further with my arm. [TAG OUT]! Max leaps in swing with his greatsword. -CLANG- Sparks flew ass the greatsword clashed with the Heros armor. "RAGH"! The Hero swung his holy sword at Max.
(Skill Activated: Air Sheild)
-CLANG- A shield made of concentrated air appeared between the Hero and Max blocking the blow. Normally this wouldn't stop a holy sword but with the staff's effects, it was easily enough to stop him. Max took the opportunity to swipe at his legs with his claw knocking the Hero off his feet. As he was falling Max lept away revealing me aiming my crossbow right at the hero. -CLICK- The magic bolt flew piercing the air heading straight for the Hero. "ENOUGH"! Light burst from the Hero knocking both me and Max back.
I was afraid of this he called upon the powers of the god of light and now his stats increased exponentially. [Max lets use that skill]. {Wait what's that skill mean}? [You know THAT skill]. {Crimson I don't know what you're talking about}. I let out a sigh. [Let's use Familiar Armor]. {Oh alright, than}.

Max's form morphed as his body morphed around mine. As the process finished I was covered head to toe in blue armor. The helmet was the head of a wolf two wolf ears popped up from my head as my horns were covered in heavy neck fur. My red draconic tale now turned into a wolf tail. Armor covered my hands as right above them on the top of my hand claws as big as Max in his natural form were attached. Draconic wings sprouted from my back as my belly was now a pure white. The only thing that was exposed was my crimson eyes the rest was the wolf armor. I move around a bit but it feels surprisingly light. It looks like I'm wearing heavy armor but its lighter than leather, in fact, I don't feel any change in weight.
[WOAH THIS IS AWESOME]! {Crimson please were in the middle of a life or death fight currently}. I look at the Hero knowing that his stats doubled I wonder what my stats are now. I decide to take a look. [Status].

Holy crap all our stats and skills combined and I get to look badass, this is the best. {CRIMSON THIS IS NOT TIME}. [WAIT WHY ARE YOU IN MY HEAD]! {Since we fused we can now read each other's thoughts instead of having to think of speaking to each other first}. Guess this ability has one big downside though. {HOW DO YOU STILL NOT REALIZE I CAN HEAR YOU}! *CRAP*. The Hero immediately charged us as we were bickering. -CLANG- The holy sword only connected with Max's platinum greatsword as I stood there holding it.
Sparks flew everywhere as me and Max were being pushed back. *Even with our strengths combined we still don't reach anywhere near his strength level. I take to the air using the wings on my back. [FLYING IS AWESOME]! {NOT THE TIME}! Bolts of light flew by our face nearly hitting me. [WHOA]! I take aerial maneuvers dodging the spells flying at us. [RAGH] I throw the greatsword as it flew at the stage cutting it nearly in half the Hero managed to dodge it.
Extending the claws on my hand I fly straight at him. -CLANG CLANG CLANG- Sparks flew as me and the Hero clashed in fierce combat. With one of my arms, I manage to trap the holy sword in between the claws. With the opening I was granted I jumped directly above him.

(I change the armor's weight to as heavy as I can. -BAM SPLAT- The Hero is crushed underneath the weight dying instantly. Changing my weight back to normal I stand back up. [Phew that was a close match]. A bright light begins to shine as I turn around I see the Hero being resurrected. Since it wasn't the medics that did it I knew the fight wasn't over yet. [CRAP]! {Get ready}. I prepare myself as the Heros resurrection finishes. "PREPARE KOBOLD AS THE MEMORIES OF MY FRIENDS FILLS MY MIND THEY GRANT ME THEIR POWER AS I WILL SMI- AGHGHG"!

The blood in his veins freezes as he slowly dies from hypothermia. [Damn, ice magic is scary]. He screams in agony as breathing slows and he takes one last breath. [Finally, he's dead]. As if on cue the body shines in a bright light again. [OH GOSH DAMNIT]! "LET ME FINISH MY MONOLOGUE YOU BASTARD"! [YOU JUST DIED A HORRIBLE AND PAINFUL DEATH AND YOUR WORRIED ABOUT ME INTERRUPTING YOUR MONOLOUGE]!
I know that if I continue he will just resurrect again and I don't see him letting his guard down again. [Fine I quite take your win as this is more trouble than its worth. I walk off the stage in my wolf armor form and leave the stadium. Before I left I could hear the announcers voice again. "AND THE WINNER BY DEFAULT IS HARRY THE HERO". Cheers shook the stadium as the announcer made the statement. "I KNEW YOU WOULD BEAT THAT DEMON"! "HES SO AMAZING"! "FUTURE SON IN LAW YOU MAKE ME PROUD"! I leave the stadium as the skill cancels and Max returns to my shadows. {Are you sure your okay with this}? [Yeah I am beside my rank was increased so now we can take on a better quest, my goal wasn't to win but to test my strength and I say I accomplished that]. {Alright we should say our goodbys though}. [Agreed let's get Joe and Ber and head to the bar before we leave]. {OH HELL NO}!
Ignoring Max's screams and please for mercy I go find Joe and Ber and we head to the tavern. We have a lot of fun telling old tales, sharing techniques, and we even sang as a trio. We drank late into the night until we could barely think. We drunkenly make our ways to the gate to meet me off. "Goodbye Crimson make sure you come and see me again"! "Make sure to visit my tribe I'll make sure you feel at home". I got a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach was this happiness or the alcohol in my stomach waiting for regurgitation I couldn't tell. [So long I'll be sure to visit again]. I stumble away at my friends who manage to pull off an impressive wave despite how drunk they were. After a couple of minutes of stumbling off, I continue to walk to the forest. I manage to reach the trees before Max starts speaking to me. {Crimson you need to do something about your drinking problem now or you will never get over it}. [What are you talkin about I'm perfectly fine]. {Crimson you can barley walk}. -BAFF- I fall face-first into the dirt in my drunken stupor. {Crimson, Crimson are you okay}? The only thing that could be heard was a couple of birds and my snoring. {OH GOSH DAMNIT}!
