Ruby had a hard time understanding what Neo said, her last few words just didn't seem to connect. She couldn't comprehend what Neo was trying to say, however she felt as if it wasn't good if they were to talk while Ivy was asleep. Ruby looked down and whispered something in Ivy's ears before positioning Ivy's head on a soft and fluffy pillow. She looked up at Neo, immediately Neo knew what Ruby wanted.
"Lead the way, miss Crimson," Neo's voice was light, there wasn't a hint of rudeness, however, there was something hiding behind her eyes.
Ruby sighed before giving Ivy a small kiss on the cheek, she walked out the room and took a left.
Neo stood in the room for a second before walking over to Ivy's sleeping body, she gave a small kiss before walking away, she turned off the lights and left the door slightly ajar just in case someone tried to come in. Little did she know, someone was already inside the room.
--------------------------------------------------
Neo entered Ruby's room, she was astounded by the decoration and color scheme. Her room was at least 30 x 44, there was even a fucking chandelier! There were golden strips that lined the top and bottom of her room, there was a king-size bed and a few things that the reader can probably already imagine.
Ruby walked towards her dresser and took off her oversize white shirt, although she enjoyed wearing oversize shirts, she needed to clean this one. Ruby smiled to herself when the memories of playing with Ivy's body appeared in her mind. She pulled out a sweater and used that as a shirt, she turned around to see Neo standing right behind her, a few inches away of course. Creeper...NO! Not the song!
"Let's get down to business, to defeat your questions!!" Neo sung a 20th-century song, she smirked before taking one step forward so she was face to face with Ruby. She could see that Ruby was nervous, almost imitated. "Don't be scared, I'm shorter than you silly."
Neo hopped back and sat down on the floor, her tail sway a little bit. Was she excited?
Ruby nodded tightly before sitting down with her back against her dresser, she was curious about what type of person Neo was. She assumed that the whole body changing thingy was her semblance doing making it easy for her to infiltrate businesses. But she wondered why Neo went to this place of all things.
"Alright let's see," Neo started, she knew Ruby had questions about her life but she might as give some secrets about Ivy. Of course, she wouldn't spill anything too deep. "I say around when Ivy was 17, I was 15 at the time. Ivy and I have been in a relationship, my second and her first. She didn't know too much about me but I knew a lot about her, even though she older than me. It seemed as if I was the mature one."
"What do you mean?" Ruby's first question popped up. "She seemed very mature to me, I think."
"Let me finish at least," Neo said with a soft smile. "I say Ivy and I were in a relationship for about five months before she, erm...proposed to me. I'll be honest, I didn't think she was that in love with me but I can see how. I was very kind, gentle and sweet but that was just because I wanted to."
Neo's face turned into a grim expression, her posture changed into a fetal position. The aura that Ruby felt changed, something she never experience like the air got much more colder and sadder. Neo didn't speak for a couple of seconds before lifting her head up a little, just where she could place her cheek on her knee.
"I...I turned Ivy's proposal down," The words were caught in Neo's mouth before leaving, she didn't know what to feel at the moment but all she wanted to do is go back in time.
Ruby was silent for a few seconds but then she got up, her sudden movement made Neo jump a little. Her expression was serious, something that Neo didn't expect. Ruby immediately ran out of her room and down the hallway towards Ivy's room.
Neo tilted her head before hearing an alarm go off in her head, her mood quickly changed before getting off the ground and followed behind Ruby's lead.
Something was off, Ivy's signal went dark and that means she's either in danger or a powerful entity is nearby.
'Damn it!'
