It has been two weeks since the incident with the advanced first-years entrance exam. Rumors were still floating around as who was the unfortunate soul that was sent to the ER. During the two weeks, most first-years were expelled due to their lack of skill and cooperation. Most accepted their expulsion, but a few bad apples made a scene, which resulted in them being blacklisted by top academies. Ruby roamed around the school grounds a lot to ensure that no one was goofing around too much. It was more of a safety precaution than a strict ruling.
Ivy and Neo were walking in the dorms since classes haven't started yet. Ivy was mostly resting to make sure her body recovered fully before continuing Soar High. However, she tried to argue multiple against Ruby, Ivy always lost. Neo informed Ivy that they were on the same team along with three other people.
Neo knocked on door 404 before opening it, there were two males and one female. Ivy immediately noticed the little riding hood girl. She stared at the girl before seeing the same boy, Eden, during the first day of school. Neo introduce herself before introducing Ivy.
"H-Hi, I guess, name's Ivy," Ivy scratched the back of her head. She was a bit nervous to say, but Ivy was more or less a bit awkward.
The three looked at each other before one boy who had blonde hair and blue eyes introduced himself, "I'm York Fall. Nice to meet you two, and Ivy--" Ivy looked at York and saw a grin on the guy's face. "Glad you're okay. That hit must have really hurt."
Ivy nodded before, looking around the room. It was decently spacey, enough for the five of them but not enough for everything. She sat down on one of the beds before taking a deep breath. Ivy's exhale caused a minor Mana expansion which the three were confused.
Neo patted the little riding hood's back and said, "Ivy's a weirdo. She does things without people's permission and, more importantly, rarely listens to people. Unless she knows who is in charge." Neo smiled before flicking Ivy's forehead to knock some sense into the girl.
"Anyways, I'm Rosalina Summer. I'm the leader of this team, so I'm the one who gives the orders. Also, please call me Rose," Rose said as she sat down on her bed. She had cinder hair with rose-colored eyes. Rose looked younger than the two other boys, maybe that was just Ivy's thinking.
York smiled and crossed his arms and stared at Rose. There was something that Rose was leaving out, and York was planning on exposing it. He nudged Rose's head before getting annoyed enough and blurted out, "Thanks for saving me but not yourself, idiot!"
Neo smiled and thanked Rose before staring at the silent one. Something about the boy reminded of someone. Ah, it was Ivy's old personality before she had literally smack Ivy to get a better persona. Neo smiled inside and sat next to Ivy.
Seeing Neo's stare, Eden shrugged before saying in a low voice, "My name is Eden, I'm the middle child of these two idiots."
"Oh, you wanna go, bro?!"
"Pfft, yeah right, Eden! Like you can win against me."
Rose and York stared at Eden, ready to beat the brother up. Eden smirked before crossing his arms and waited for Rose or York to make their move. After five minutes of nothing, Eden said, "Even if I say something like that. They're not gonna do anything since I'm much stronger than the two combines."
Ivy chuckled to herself before lying down on her bed and closing her eyes. She had a feeling she would enjoy this team. ("Maybe I will enjoy this academy? But who else is Ruby hiding this year?") Ivy wonders as she heard the other talking about Semblances. She turned over to her side to ignore the conversation.
Rose looked at Ivy before whispering to Neo, "Is something wrong with her?"
Neo looked over and shook her head, she simply replied with, "She doesn't like the topic of Semblances."
The three nodded before talking about the recent news and topics around the school. Thanks to Neo, Ivy didn't have to deal with an awkward situation where she had to explain that she didn't have a Semblance. Or at the very least, unlocked her Semblance.

Ruby was currently sipping some coffee while dealing with the paperwork of the new students. She had to confirm each student whether they passed the exam along with they could individually grow as a hunter/huntress. Ruby came across Ivy and her team; she looked at their skill rating, their possible cooperation, and, most importantly, their willingness to save each other. Considering that Ivy saved Rose during the entrance exams from the Death Stalker, along with the fact that she was willing to create a Mana barrier to protect the other students.
"HeadMaster Ruby, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have a report for you," Scarlet announced her presence before handing off a tablet with all the information about Lilith. It seemed ominous that a demon would easily betray her own kind just to stay with a human.
Ruby thanked Scarlet as she took the tablet and scrolled through. It was somewhat lengthy, but everything on the screen seemed...wrong. Ruby sighed before seeing the name Lilith Grimoire, she felt like she had heard that name before. Ruby continued to scroll until she saw a familiar word, "House of Roses."
Ruby looked up at Scarlet before asking, "Why is the House of Roses in here?"
"It's because Lilith was apparently apart of the House of Roses. Not an inherent child, but she was a healer and a maid. I'm guessing that Lilith really did want a peaceful life, so she decided to work as a servant for others," Scarlet replied as she looked at all the paperwork that Ruby needed to do.
Ruby rubbed her chin before setting down the tablet, she sighed and turned around in her chair. She took a sip of her drink before talking to herself. Most of it was mumbles and murmurs and words that Scarlet couldn't understand. Ruby groaned before leaning back and yawning.
"I suggest you take a nap, HeadMaster. It might be able to help get through all this paperwork. Also, why haven't you given me any of these papers?" Scarlet question spiked Ruby's brain. Her words and logic were all correct, but it felt invading that more than one person is looking at all of that information.
Ruby turned around and laid her head on the table. She couldn't' argue against Scarlet's claim. Ruby picked up a stack of papers and said, "If you can finish these by tomorrow afternoon, then I'll give you another one. Leave any notes or comments about the student's possible potential and or problems we might expect or occur."
Scarlet nodded while taking the stack and walking off. She was glad she Ruby's temporary secretary. Although Scarlet knew she was definitely not ready for the job, it was good training for the possible future.
Ruby sat back down before groaning loudly. She had a lot more paperwork to do, but something kept distracting her. Maybe a walk might help clear Ruby's mind. After all, walks seem to be the most useful thing to do for her. Or maybe checking up on the students roaming around; it is their last week of freedom before classes start.
"You could always see Ivy. Maybe you can even kiss her," Alpha said. She appeared on Ruby's shoulder, causing the girl to jump a little. "What? You didn't expect me to come out? I need some air after being trapped in that mind of yours for ages!"
"Pfft, yeah right. What do you want, Alpha?" Ruby said as she stared out the glass walls. Ruby was tempted to take a walk around the grounds before having to deal with the paperwork again.
Alpha laughed as she simply said, "Go take a walk, clear that mind of yours before you start work. Maybe ask Ivy to come with you."
Ruby was a bit shook to hear Ivy pop up again before shaking her head. She puffed her cheeks before deciding to take a walk WITHOUT Ivy. Ruby walked out of her office and down the elevator to roam around school grounds. What she didn't expect was to bump into someone the moment left the elevator.
