The snake was a dark green color and its teeth were razor sharp. After blinking for a moment he realised how odd the thing he had just said sounded and looked again at the snake.
=yup it had teeth=
And not like normal fangs, no they were full blown teeth like a dog. He realized that he had taken alittle bit longer than it should have to presses the situation but his head was throbbing. The snake noticed this and struck out at him, right at his head.
Its teeth sunk into the hallowed space where the spear had gone, and some bone fragments became embedded in the top of the snakes mouth making it twitch in pain and loosen its jaw a bit.
Gordan took this moment to grab onto the snake's throat with one of his hands and pulled the snake out of the tree. Both of them fell to the ground, and Gordan used his other free hand to grab the base of the snakes neck and pull it off of his forehead.
The effort caused the snake to tear away the thin layer of skin that it had in its jaws to tear off. Now it was the snakes turn to be slightly confused, biting his lip to help with the pain Gordan locked both of his hands around the snakes throat and began to strangle it.
The blood from his wound was dripping in his eyes but he ignored that, the snake was thrashing about trying to free itself, but again he ignored this.
his fingers began to lock into place as he continued strangling the large snake, after several minutes the struggling ceased and Gordan slowly loosened his hands from the snakes neck.
He was blinded due to the blood that was still dripping into his eyes. Lifting his hand to the hole in his forehead, he began slowly pulling the bone fragments out of his forehead, that had been bothering his for so long, the process took several minutes but once he had finished he felt alittle better.
Once he was done with that he unraveled one of the pieces of fabric that he had rapped around his waist and secured it around his open wound to stop the bleeding.
His stomach felt alittle bit loose but he needed to stop the bleeding, if for no other reason to get back his eyesight.
Once the bleeding stopped he took the collar of his shirt and began wiping the blood out of his eyes. When he could finally see again he looked over at the snake and then toward were the boar had been. He was almost worried that the boar might have been hurt but then he saw that the boar was sitting down waiting for him with an expression that seemed to say 'what's taking you so long hurry up"
=sigh=
Slowly getting to his feet Gordan grabbed the snake corpse and slung it over his shoulders. He was starting to get alittle annoyed at the boar.
The boar got up and started to lead the way once it saw that he was fallowing, Gordan used his hand to rub his eyes. His head was killing him, if he wasn't so busy keeping up with a boar he would have wondered how he was able to even stand in his current condition.
The two of them walked further and further into the thicket, Gordan was careful not to touch the trees since he didn't think that he could sustain much more damage in his current state.
After walking for an hour the boar suddenly came to a stop and began sniffing around on the ground. At this point Gordan was starting to feel alittle light headed, but after punching himself in the gut he started to come back into focus. And now his gut hurt, but he couldn't afford to fall asleep right now, no matter what he couldn't lose consciousness.
The boar was trying to break through a shrub, Gordan saw the roots starting to come out of the ground and noticed that it took them quite some time to break the surface of the ground.
The boar was just breaking through when they broke the surface and it was able to get through just in time, Gordan sat down on his haunches and rested his head in his hand as he watched the roots thrash around in the place that the boar had been standing just moments before.
Noticing a small stick on the ground near him Gordan picked it up and threw it toward the roots which were still lashing around looking for something to grab onto, as soon as the stick got close one of the roots grabbed onto it and snapped it to pieces.
Seemingly satisfied the roots slowly went back into the ground, Gordan was rather relieved that they were like that since it ment that one could escape if put in a tight situation. And then he realized that the same rule might not apply to all of the plants. His head hurt, he didn't want to think and when he did he could only be annoyed by the king not waiting like the original plan was supposed to be.
After waiting a few minutes he stood up and cautiously walked over to the bushes, just as he was a foot away from them the boars head popped out and it had a rather annoyed look on its face.
Gordan put his hand over his heart and breathed deeply, he knew that the boar was annoyed at having to wait but he really didn't care, that didn't give it the right to scare him half to death.
Once he had calmed down he pushed through the bushes as fast as he could without looking back. Behind him he could hear the roots resurfacing in order to attack again but he just calmly made his way through.
On the other side he was greeted to the sight of a rather ominous pit in the ground, he could not see the bottom but the boar seemed rather obsessed with it becouse it started squealing and running around the pit as soon as Gordan made it through the bushes.
Gordan tried to focus his eyes but that just made his head hurt, as he was leaning over the pit looking intently the boar pushed him in rather forsebly from behind.
=why do I even bother=
Gordan fell for about fifteen feet befor landing in a vat of mud.
=sigh=
He didnt know why he even bothered at this point, the one good thing was that in his fall he had not injured his head further, but his arm was another story. His left arm was twisted backwards, so he bit down on his lip and used his other hand to twist his arm back into place.
He broke through his lip all the way to the inside of his mouth but at least his arm was back in place. Gordan reluctantly pulled the last of the two strips of cloth from around his waist and tightly rapped his arm so that it would not twist, and he could use it more.
His left arm was alittle numb but he could live with that.
=groan=
Gordan, whose eyes had adjusted to some extent by this point turned to see were the voice was from and then he noticed a figure trapped under a pile of stones. Gordan smacked his head which he instantly regretted since he hurt both his injured hand and head, he had the feeling that his headache was about to get much worse.
