It's been 2 weeks since Elijah woke up as a baby and he was annoyed.
He couldn't do anything beside eating and sh*tting himself. His body didn't listen to him and he could only lie down all day. He only got up when his grandmother picked him up to feed him, change his diapers or play with him.
What troubled Elijah the most were his eyes, he would faint every single time ever since his view of the world changed.
He could only open his eyes for a few seconds before fainting.
That's why he kept them closed.
He was sure that this world wasn't Earth, it should be a fantasy world. He didn't have another explanation for what he saw that day.
Elijah sighed, 'I need to endure this torture!'
-----------------------------------
Six month had passed and Elijah was crawling around with vigor. His grandmother was sittiing on a chair observing him with a wide smile.
She already had noticed that he didn't open his eyes if possible. Her husband had found out that the use of his eyes put a heavy toll on his body and soul. That's why they put a headband over his eyes to prevent him from using them.
What they didn't know is that Elijah could see perfectly with his eyes closed. It started around one month after he woke up. He couldn't see the rainbow colored energy around him anymore, but everything else was fine.
He had already started talking. (Even though it was all gibberish that came out of his mouth)
Elijah found himself many things out in all the time.
First of all people spoke english, it surprised him greatly. They had from time to time visitors and he listened interested to their conversations.
He heard about all the wonders of this new world. He wasn't human apparently, his race name was Terran. It confused him because they looked clearly like humans.
And then there was this island he lived on, its name was Flower Island and was the second biggest island from the 6 islands in the area. The adults talked a lot about the Ario Continent and all the major news that happened there.
Elijah couldn't wait until he could talk and walk. But he needed to exercise a lot to do it.
He was wondering why he hadn't seen his parents yet, only his grandmother took care of him. His grandfather only came back rarely once in two months before departing after a few days of rest.
Elijah was curious what his grandfather was doing all the time in the outside world.
He was still happy and loved to crawl into his grandmothers loving embrace.
-----------------------------------
"Grandma Elia!" Echoed an immature cute voice through the house.
The old woman with a bright smile spread out her arms while bending down.
A little child staggered into her embrace and she lifted him proudly up.
"Well done little Elijah you can already walk really well." Said Elia lovingly.
Elijah giggled cutely, "Grandpa Roland?" Asked Elijah with his cute voice.
"Tomorrow dear, you only need to sleep once and grandpa will be here." Explained Elia while pinching Elijah's little nose.
"Grandma, can I see it again?" Asked the little boy cheekily.
Elia sighed but still nodded. An image of a majestic looking horse appeared behind her, galloping freely through the air.
"Wheeeee!" Elijah stared at the horse in wonder despite having a headband covering his eyes.
Elia put Elijah back on the floor where he sat down, staring at the horse in wonder.
'He is developing so fast....' Thought Elia. He started talking 4 months ago, shocking both of his grandparents.
It didn't end there, he seemed to understand them and showed a great deal of intelligence despite not even being one year old. Tomorrow will be his first birthday and he could already walk on his own, he still lost his balance sometimes but he was improving so fast.
Elia really loved her little grandson.
'Lara, Carl you would be proud, your son is really special....' Thought Elia, while looking outside of the window with a sad expression.
"Grandma?" Asked Elijah while spreading out his arms at her.
Elia smiled again, lifting him up into her embrace. Elijah hugged her back.
'It seems like my parents have died....it's been almost a year and they haven't showed up...Grandma Elia has sometimes such a sad expression....' Thought Elijah secretly.
"My cute little Elijah..." Said Elia while trying to suppress her tears.
The majestic horse vanished after a while.
The rest of the day went on and Elijah got surprised when he was woken up by his grandfather.
"Happy Birthday Elijah." Said his grandfather softly.
Elijah looked at his grandpa.
His grandfather's name was Roland whose body would put most bodybuilders in shame, despite his old age. He was many times taller than his grandmother and had silver hair just like Elijah himself. He wore plain clothes that made Elijah think that the world he lived in was a medieval one.
"Grandpa, hug!" Demanded Elijah while stretching out his arms.
His grandfather laughed loud while picking him up.
"Hahaha did you miss grandpa?" Asked his grandfather while pinching his nose.
'Bruh, it's so tiring to play the little cute grandson.....argh whatever I know what I need to say!' Thought Elijah reculanty.
"Grandpa I missed you." Said Elijah with his cute voice while hugging Roland.
Roland walked out of Elijah's room while laughing laudly.
He took Elijah with him to the living room where a cake was placed on the table with one candle on it.
Elia was already waiting for them. She walked to Elijah who was being carried by his grandfather and kissed him on his forehead.
"Happy birthday Elijah." Her loving voice touched Elijah deeply. He reached out his arms to her, Roland let Elijah into Elia's warm embrace.
'I think this isn't that bad.' Thought Elijah while hugging his grandmother.
He spent his first birthday of his new life happily with his grandparents.
