Elijah stayed on Flower Island for only one day and he was greatly spoiled by his grandmother Elia.
The next day Roland was already waiting outside of the house. Elijah was stunned when he saw Roland.
His whole person seemed to had changed, he normally used normal leather clothes but he was wearing an expensive set of silver colored clothes. His silver hair was neatly combed back, a noble and arrogant aura surrounded him.
An exquisite looking blade hung on the side of his belt.
"Come." Even his voice sounded deeper.
Elia walked out of the house, giving Elijah a hug, kissing his cheek.
"I will visit you in half a year, don't let anyone bully you. Grandma loves you dearly."
Elijah hugged her back, "Don't worry about me grandma, I love you too."
Roland nodded, waving his hand.
This time a flying ship many times bigger than the sail boat that Roland used in the past to bring Elijah to Cliff Island appeared in front of the house.
"Let us go." Both of them entered the flying ship
They were flying through the calm sky with a great speed. A strange transparent barrier surrounded the flying ship, preventing the wind to hit them.
Roland threw a silver ring at Elijah who catched it.
"That is a Silver Rated Space Ring, there are some things inside that you will need, enter the cabin and change your clothes. Your grandmother already cut your messy hair shorter but your current clothes are a big no go for the capital." Said Roland.
Elijah entered the cabin and let a drop of his blood land on the Silver Rated Space Ring, successfully bounding it to himself. His mind entered the space inside it, he was surprised how big the space inside it was. It was comparable to a football field on Earth. He found various sets of expensive looking clothes and some blades. But what piqied his attention was the flying sailboat inside it, it was the one his grandfather used in the past.
He quickly changed his clothes and walked out of the cabin.
Roland threw a quick glance at him, nodding satisfied.
"You chose the Silver Rated Blades, a wise choice." Commented Roland.
"Of course, I would court death if I took out the Gold Rated Blades....why did you give them to me in the first place?" Asked Elijah annoyed.
Roland laughed, "Because you are my grandson." His simple answer made Elijah shake his head in defeat.
The most common weapons were Bronze Rated, Silver Rated Weapons were somewhat rare but not that expensive or difficult to get.
The bigger clans were able to effort to equip their promising descendants with Silver Rated Weapons. That was the reason why Elijah choose them.
If he took out his Gold Rated Blades....It would be him asking for trouble.
Only people at the Second-Realm could effort to wield Gold Rated Weapons, every single Gold Rank weapon costs a fortune.
That was why he was startled finding them inside the space ring. He also put the Silver Rated Space Ring inside his Bronze Rated Space Ring. Space Rings were rare and expensive, only wealthy people could afford them.
A Silver Rated Space Ring was even more expensive than a Gold Rated Weapon. Just thinking about it made Elijah sweat.
'What is grandpa thinking giving me so much valuable stuff? Does he want me to become everyone's target?' Cursed Elijah.
They traveled for one day before finally arriving at the capital of the Evergreen Empire, Esmerald City.
The flying ship started to descend outside of the city, Elijah looked at Esmerald City in wonder.
He never imagined it to be that huge and prosperous, it was unlike any city he had seen in his past life. The buildings weren't as high but they gave off a feeling of sturdiness. What was eye catching was how green the city was, everywhere could all kinds of trees be seen, it was a marvelous view.
They landed not far from the gate drawing the attention from the nearby people. Roland waved his hand and the flying ship vanished.
"Come."
Elijah followed Roland closely while they walked to the huge gate, the city was protected by a huge wall that reached up to 30 meters.
There were many people in front of the gate, standing in a long waiting line to enter the city.
Roland ignored them, walking straight to the front were a group of Soldiers wearing steel armors were checking the people. One of them stopped them, "If you want to enter the city you should..." He stopped speaking when his eyes fell on the golden insignia on Roland's coat.
He immediately saluted showing his respect, "I'm sorry for my rude behavior General, please enter."
The other Soldiers saluted to Roland, with respect, some of them even looked at him with reverence.
Roland didn't care about it, "This is my grandson, you know what to do right?"
Elijah was surprised by everything and he looked at his grandpa in a new light.
The Soldier nodded, stealing a quick glance at Elijah before walking away with large strides.
They waited for a few minutes until the Soldier came back, giving Elijah a token made of gold.
"This is your entry token, drop your blood on it to bind it and you will be able to enter all cities of the empire without the need to pay." Explained the soldier, he saluted again, sending them off.
"Grandpa why did they call you General?" Asked Elijah.
"Because I am a General, I joined the Royal Army after graduating from the academy." Answered Roland plainly.
Roland took out a piece of green jade that lit up, making Elijah curious.
It didn't take long until a carriage pulled by two large tigers arrived in front of them. The driver bowed to Roland, "It is an honor, General."
Roland nodded, "To the academy."
Both of them entered the spacious carriage, sitting down.
The carriage speed was fast and Elijah looked out of the window in wonder. He saw all kind of people walking through the streets and all kinds of shops selling stuff he had only read about.
Roland sat silently with his eyes closed across him.
They arrived quickly in front of the academy.
Elijah's mouth was wide open when he got out from the carriage, the academy looked more like a palace than an actual academy. There stood many youths in front of the gate of the academy, waiting for something.
Roland patted Elijah's shoulder, "Here we are, from now on you are on your own Elijah."
Elijah turned around, hugging Roland, "Thank you for everything grandpa."
Roland smiled happily, "Become strong, now go."
Both of them separated and Elijah made his way to the crowd of youths. He suddenly recalled something, turning around to ask his grandfather something but he had vanished.
Elijah scratched his head not knowing if he should laugh or cry, 'Seriously, just how strong is grandpa that he can disappear like that....'
He shrugged and joined the crowd that waited in front of the closed gate.
He looked at the gigantic palace like academy sighing, it looked really grand.
One of the of the youths near him spoke, "Hey have you heard who will join Green Academy this year?"
