"Hey have you heard who will join Green Academy this year?"
The teen standing beside the one who asked shook his head.
"I heard from my cousin that George Mason will join the academy this year." Said the youth with long brown hair.
The others youths eyes widened in disbelief, "You mean the George Mason? The Crown Prince from our Evergreen Empire?"
"Yes, not only him, the three young tigers from the Silver Clan, also the young lady from the Ince Clan will join this year too..."
The other youth gulped hard, "This years Elite Class will be full of genius then."
"Exactly, commoners like us can't compare to them, their bloodline is just too strong..."
The other youth sighed in defeat, agreeing reculanty.
Others listened to their conversation and soon discussions about them could be heard everywhere.
Elijah smiled, he grew curious who those people are, also three people from the Silver Clan would enter the academy like him.
Suddenly the gate opened, making all the teens stopping their conversations.
A robust middle aged man with wide shoulders and a brutal looking square face stepped outside the gate. He towered above all youths, some of them took some steps back.
The man's gaze wandered through the crowd, "You may take the entrance test now."
He didn't say anything else, starting to walk away. The youths at the front looked at each other and soon followed the man into Green Academy.
The crowd followed the man into the training grounds where they stopped.
"My name is Jason Blake, one of your teachers for the next two years, now build a line and do as my college here says. I hope you don't cause any problems if not..." By the end of his sentence a savage aura exploded out of the brutal looking teacher, engulfing the crowd.
Elijah noticed some people's legs started to shake, but most gulped hard, nodding like chickens.
They formed a neat line without anyone even muttering a word.
Soon one after another walked to the two teachers who were sitting in frot of a desk.
It didn't took long until it was Elijah's turn.
The female teacher with glasses stared at him interested, Elijah glanced secretly at her impressive bunnies, 'Jesus they are huge, are they real?' This was one of those moments Elijah was happy that his headband was covering his eyes.
She used her hand to put some of strands of her blond hair behind her ear, "Name?"
"Elijah Silver." Answered Elijah, surprising both teachers.
"Huh? You were banished from the Silver Clan?" Asked the woman surprised.
It was common sense for the people from the Silver Clan that were banished to have the "Rael" part stripped away from their names, letting everyone know that they weren't part of the clan.
Elijah scratched his messy silver hair, "Yes, I was banished after I turned 7."
Some people who stood at the front of line heard them and they started to discuss this.
"Someone was banished from the Silver Clan? That's harsh!"
"Why did he come here if he is a waste? This is the best academy in the whole empire!"
"His eyes are covered, what is wrong with him?"
They shut their mouths when the female teacher glared coldly at them.
The woman nodded and looked at him with pity, "Why are your eyes covered?"
"I was born blind miss." Answered Elijah relaxed.
"Just call me teacher, please take your headband off to check your eyes." Ordered the teacher.
"This..." Elijah hesistated.
"Hmm? Is there a problem?" Asked the teacher, she was staring at him with suspicion.
"Err no not really..." Elijah took off his headband.
"Now open your eyes for me to see." Ordered the teacher, the other teacher sitting beside her stared at him too.
Elijah took a deep breath before opening his eyes slowly.
The suspicious look vanished from the female teacher, her gaze softened.
Some youths sighed, shaking their heads. They asked themselves why a blind person would try to attend Green Academy of all places.
Elijah's eyes didn't look anything dragon like, they were grey, lacking luster.
It showed that he was really blind. Even the other teacher looked at him with pity.
Elijah looked very fragile and a bit sad at that moment.
The female teacher sighed, "It's ok, you can cover your eyes." She noted down something.
The other teacher sitting beside her waited for Elijah to cover his eyes, "Come, I will guide you, place your hand on this pillar."
He wanted to stand up but Elijah shook his head, "Thank you teacher, but I can still see, it's just different from most people.
The teacher nodded, he slapped the tall pillar beside him. Elijah reacted to the sound. He was good at acting like he was really blind.
He walked to the pillar, placing his hand on it. He noticed that part of his Soul Flux being absorbed by the pillar made of black stone.
'Thank god that I learned on Cliff Island how to hide my Eye Bloodline.' Thought Elijah delighted.
He learned there how to stop his eyes. It was very simple, all he had to do was to focus on his Soul Flux, stopping it from flowing into his eyes. He just wasn't sure if that alone would be enough.
His attention was drawn to the black pillar in front of him that had suddenly started to shake violently.
Words appeared on its surface, "Fourteen years old, Rank-1 Senior Warrior, High Bloodline."
The words floated on the surface.
The teacher with black hair who stood beside him froze when he read the words. His jaw almost hit the floor, his eyes wandered from the black pillar to Elijah and back.
Elijah really wanted to ask how the pillar knew how old he was but stayed silent, he wouldn't be able to explain how he read it even though he was supposed to be blind.
"This....this..., Elena come over and take a look." Stuttered the teacher confused.
The female teacher stood up, walking around the desk. Her mouth stayed wide open when she read the words.
Her gaze focused on Elijah's body, trying to see through him, "Did the Silver Clan really banish you?"
"Yes why?" Asked Elijah carefully.
She took a deep breath, "Because your talent isn't any worse than their main decendants"
The other teacher nodded, "You don't have to worry, your Rank-1 Senior Warrior strength alone is enough for you to be put inside the Elite Class."
The youths in the line started to discuss again.
"A Senior Warrior at 14 with a High Bloodline? For real? Why did the Silver Clan banish him with such a talent?" Asked someone confused.
"Maybe because he is blind?"
"You idiot, one can still become a strong Warrior despite being blind. He can use his Soul Sense once he becomes a Grand Warrior!"
Elijah was happy, he didn't let his grandpa down.
"I disagree!" A strong, cold voice echoed out from behind Elijah.
