Rhythian looked like he had mixed emotions when he heard my statement. I started to become nervous as silence slowly filled the room. The man then stopped what he did and started to walk towards the door. As he did, he gestured me to follow him, so I did. After a few seconds of walking, we eventually reached a deep part of the forest. The forest was still beautiful to look at despite the fact that the trees are abundant here.
Rhythian stopped walking and turned to face me. I stopped a few feet behind him. H then reached out to his side and a burst of light emitted. I instinctively covered my eyes in shock. When I opened my eyes, I saw Rhythian standing beside floating weapons. The weapons seemed like they were fading as some parts of it seemed transparent.
"I'm glad that you are willing to learn" Rhythian says with a smile. "But, I can't teach you if you don't have a weapon. Pick the weapon that you prefer and then, we can start training..."He added as I stared off into the weapons.
I took a few steps forward till I was 2 feet away from the floating gallery of weapons. I looked from left to right to see what I wanted. As I scanned them, one caught my eye. I walked to the weapon and stood in front of it. Rhythian stood beside me and placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Is this what you truly choose?" He asked as I nodded whilst staring into the weapon.
He chuckled a small bit before reaching out, making the weapon land into his hand while the others disappear into a bright glittery dust. He then held the weapon in his hand and turned to me.
"The Bow, a weapon of great versatility and range. A good choice for people who wants safety and stealth." Rhythian explained as I was hypnotized by the beautiful design of the bow with it's gold and marble like materials made into it. Rhythian knelt down to give the bow to me. I took the massive bow and as soon as it touched my hands, it shifted in size to fit me. The heavy, massive bow soon turned into a light and small bow.
"Right, before I forget..."Rhythian spoke, catching my attention. He hovered his hand over the bow and a soft green glow emitted from it. Soon after, my name was engraved on the body of the bow accompanied by a couple of runes to the sides of it.
"The bow now belongs to you and you only. Try and releasing the bow" Rhythian said as I did as he told. Once it left my hand, the bow soon disappeared into a bright blue dust. I looked in awe as I enjoyed the sight of the blue dust dance in the wind.
Rhythian chuckled as he looked at me. "The bow is now in your Inventory, I can explain that later, but for now, swipe your hand horizontally." Rhythian said yet another instruction. I followed shortly, and in a quick flash, the bow showed up in my hand. I giggled as I saw the magic happen.
"What you did is a move I liked to call Equip. It takes out the weapon you have stored." Rhythian spoke before standing up and turned the other direction. He extended his hand outward and soon, a target showed up in front of a tree.
"Now for the fun stuff, I'd like you to take a shot at that target over there" Rhythian spoke as he pointed at the target. I looked at him confused as the bow didn't have any arrows...or a string to accompany it. Rhythian chuckled as he saw this.
"Right, I forgot..." He said as he knelt beside me.
"Now, put the bow to your side, face the same way. Feet back..."He kept saying instructions as to how to wield the bow. I followed as instructed but I still didn't know how to shoot out an arrow without arrows and a string.
"Now, try and pinch a few inches away from the bow" Rhythian said as I was still left confused. I did as followed. As I pinched the air, a blue light shined from between my fingers and a blue magical string grew from the light. I was yet again amazed as I looked at the magical bow.
Rhythian chuckled as he saw my happy face. He then looked forward to where the target was.
"Try pulling on the string." I soon followed what Rhythian said. As I did, a blue and thin magical arrow grew on the string and emitted a quiet humming sound. Rhythian seemed impressed as I nocked the magical arrow on the bow and took aim.
"Now, try and shoot" Rhythian said as he stood up and took a few steps backward. I tried to aim at the target as best as I could, but I was still a novice at this, my hand was shaking under some pressure making my aim slightly off center. As I kept my aim, I let go of the string, the arrow left the bow and left a faint blue trail. The magical arrow flew towards the target in a very quick manner. Soon, the arrow hit the target, causing a loud glass clink sound. I soon dropped the bow, making it disappear into dust yet again. I looked at the target and saw the arrow hit the center of the target.
In a gleeful manner, I jumped and muttered words of achievement. Rhythian clapped enthusiastically, showing his amusement.
"That was amazing. I've never seen anyone shoot a mana arrow that accurately before...You show potential young draconian. Good Work" Rhythian gave me a thumbs up as I grew a massive smile towards him.
"Now, that's enough for one day. You can continue if you want, but head back before it gets dark okay?" Rhythian spoke as he walked back to where the house was. Before he did, a bunch of targets appeared on different trees. I looked at the ironclad man walking away and nodded slightly. I then took a stance and started practicing till it got dark...
