"This is absolutely beautiful. Looks like heaven. Absolutely beautiful!" I breathed taking in the familiar scent of his perfume.
My voice sounded strange to me. I felt strange like i was outside my body watching it make all the decisions but, being unable to stop it. Being unable to do anything at all but to watch.
He smiled. He stared at me with a smirk now plastered on his face and held on to my gaze. I started to shake again. I could feel his stare draining out every goddamn confidence I managed to muster.
He took a sip from his glass then chuckled darkly. I could feel my core responding to every one of his gestures. Saying that i was wet for him was sure to be an understatement. I wanted him with every hair on my skin.
"We take our desires and cravings to the gate of heaven. There are better hotels there, remember? And if we cannot take them to the gate of heaven then we bring heaven to earth." He said.
He spoke each word with so much clarity and class. His bass voice gave them all a soothing touch.
I swallowed hard as i watched him stand up from the couch he was sitting down on.
Furthermore, He dropped the glass of wine he was sipping from on the bar stool. A wine that was as red as the curtains.
He said this to me the third time we made love. "It is either we go to heaven or we bring heaven here. But either way we will take our desires to heaven."
I remembered those words vividly not only because he most times made references to them but because he kept them, his promise. He brought heaven to me time and time again.
He took slow steps towards me, steps of grace. It wasn't charisma, he carried but power. A power that couldn't come from light because light hid but darkness. Darkness freed.
A power that couldn't come from love or reason. A power that was gotten from desire, desire in it's most primal form.
The room was dark, the only light was the red of a small bub by the side of the bed. "Where do we take our desires to Ria?" He asked, while he continued to take slow steps to me.
He was taunting me so bad that i couldn't think. I knew i was meant to reply but i couldn't because I couldn't think. He was driving me to the edge and I was a willing passenger.
I tried to control myself.
Thump
Thump
Thump
Gloria think! I urged myself.
Suddenly I remembered. I finally remembered what my reply was meant to be.
