The next day at school.....
"Hey, Angeline ! What's up?", Joy runs up to me like she always does.
Angeline:"Nothing much....oh hey, did I tell you? I adopted 2 cats!"
Joy:"Really?! Why didn't you tell me sooner! You know I love cats! Is one of them that white one that keeps coming to visit you?"
Angeline:"Yup! There's this other one that Carlo and I found recently too! That's why I thought I'd invite you over after school today so that I could show them to you!"
Joy:"Really!?.....wait....what about Carlo?"
"Hm? What about him?", I ask ,a little perplexed.
"*sigh*, you really don't get it, do you Angeline! Fine then, did you atleast ask him?" Joy asks with her hands on her waist.
"Ask him what?"
"About whether I can come over !!!"
"Oh....come to think of it,I didn't.... I'll go ask him now!"
"Angeline!...*sigh*, that girl doesn't have a clue does she?"
"Hey Carlo!" I call out as I head over to him...
"Oh, Angeline ! What could have possibly made you call out to me!", Carlo says ,wearing a very seductive smile on his face....
'Imagine him with ears and a tail and he looks just like an excited cat...'
"Calm down Carlo! I just came over to ask if we could have Joy come over tonight, she wants to see the cats!", I say ,forcing the possibly dirty thoughts out of his mind....
"Oh....", he says,sounding a little disappointed, but he quickly switched back to his normal smiling face,"sure! I don't mind, Go ahead!"
"Ok!", I say ,brimming with excitement!
'It's been so long since Joy came over! I can't wait!'
I go back over to Joy....
Joy: hey, did you know that sensei is absent today too?
Angeline: really?.....
Joy: apparently something came up and sensei had to go to Tokyo....
Angeline: hmmm.....
I recall what Carlo told me yesterday.
'Well, I guess I'll just ask him when he gets back....'

Carlos POV:
Angeline walks away with a face absolutely brimming with excitement.
"Geez, I can't really say no when you react like that....", I say, and unknowingly I smile...
'I really do love seeing her happy though....'
Just As Im about to lose myself in thoughts about Angeline , I suddenly notice someone staring at her from the doorway of our class...
'Hmm....a student? A third year from the looks of it.....
What's he doing here?'
A guy about one inch taller than me,with a good build,wearing a hoodie was staring at Angeline intently.....
upon closer inspection Of his features, I noticed that he had turquoise eyes and long blond hair tied into a loose ponytail...he almost looked like a prince.....
The second we made eye contact he called over the male class representative and whispered something to him...
'...Who the heck is that?'
As I was contemplating on whether or not to go up to him and ask him what he wanted with Angeline.....He seemed to have finished talking and was about to leave.
Just then one of the girls noticed him and immediately the girls around him began whispering, giddy with excitement.....but before any of them said anything he simply put a finger on his lips and winked as if to tell them not to give him away.....
'Seriously! Just who is this guy?!'
I look over at Angeline.....
she was so immersed in her conversation with Joy that she seemed to have failed to notice that guy staring at her.
I decided not to tell her about it, just for the sake of not worrying her.....
'The class rep....his name,if I recall correctly was Hiroki Haruhiko.....'
Hiroki was just a few inches shorter than me, and considering my height (6 feet),was still considered one of the taller boys in class; he had jet black hair and wore black rimmed glasses...he was probably one of the coolest looking guys in this class, but for some reason seemed more like a big brother...
'Guess that's why he doesn't have any fans....but it seems like he's not interested either....
He's an intelligent, outgoing , responsible guy....he's pretty nice to everyone too.....everyone in class seems to respect him....though I had never actually talked to him properly so far...
Okay, I think I can ask him who that guy just now was....'
I go up to Hiroki,
"Hey, Hiroki, can I ask you something?"
"Huh? Oh! Carlo! Sure go ahead."
"Who was that guy just now?"
"...you mean you don't know? Well I guess it's understandable considering you've only been in this school a few days....."
I look at Hiroki intently, waiting for my answer.....
"...he's the ex-vice prez of the student council and the 2nd prince of our school, Ryu Tazuki- san,
-(usually in Japan you introduce people's last name followed by their first name....of course so far this has been the only place I used that logic😋)-
He takes 2nd place amongst all of the 3rd years in both academics and sports, and his looks earn him a lot of points too...As you just saw, he has a lot of fans...."
"Hmmmm....the 2nd prince huh?.....what was a guy like that doing here?"
"That's right! I'm supposed to announce it in class...but I guess I'll tell you first since you asked...."
I look at him with curiosity....
"Our annual inter school sports festival is coming up and he wanted you and Angeline to participate in the volleyball and basketball tournaments as representatives of our school!"
"...Eh?....."
