Angeline's POV:
Carlo walks over to me after talking to Hiroki, our other class rep
Carlo:"Angeline , is it ok if I call Hiroki over today as well?"
Me: "wow, I didn't know you two were friends...."
Carlo:"well, to be honest, We actually just started talking this morning , but I can tell he's a good person.....and a really perceptive one.....
Me: " let me guess.....he figured out didn't he?"
Carlo: "I'm so sorry.....apparently he had his suspicions but still he didn't tell anyone and promised that he wouldn't in the future either....he really is a good guy..."
Me:....*sigh*, well out of all the people that could've found out, I guess he's definitely the most reliable....besides with his deduction skills, I expected that this might happen soon."
Carlo: he's incredible....I was floored!
Me: I know! But ur right he's a pretty good guy, like you in many ways...in fact I think you two might become best friends before long.
Carlo: I think we get along pretty well....So can he come over ?"
I look over at Joy, who answers for me
Joy: well, Of course! Why not? He can even stay the night if he wants to, after all so am I! Right Angeline?
Me: Fine by me!
Carlo: thanks Ange!
Saying this Carlo picks up and kisses the back of my hand....then let's go before anyone else notices...
I can feel that my cheeks have become just a little hotter....
'W-w-what was that?! '
Carlo: well, class is starting ...better get back to our seats....
Carlo leaves, as if nothing ever happened...
I turn to look at Joy who was watching our exchange just now.....
She looked like she was about to explode!
'She must be shipping the two of us so hard right now....
Well, I guess I am pretty excited too....'
And so we manage to get through the rest of the day without any more notable surprises.
In the last period just before we leave ...
....I notice someone watching me from outside the classroom.....he seemed to have noticed that I saw him so he leaves immediately only letting me catch a glimpse of his long blond hair....
'That blond hair...only one person I know has long blond hair....'
"Ryu Tazuki.....what is he doing here?"
'Could it be....that this morning as well, he came to our class for me?.....'
Yes, I noticed him watching me this morning, of course at the time I didn't really care much about it....but if I made a fuss, Carlo who currently probably thinks I didn't notice might've ended up badgering me with questions....which I was in no mood to answer.
'But what could he possibly want with me?'
I ponder for a second, and then decide not to worry about it too much.
'After all, I'm gonna have lots of fun with everyone when I get home! I can't wait!'
Bell rings , signaling that schools out and it's time to go home....
I meet up with everyone at the entrance of the school.....
Me:Hey, Joy,Carlo, Hiro too !
Hiroki: hey Angeline ! I hope you don't mind me coming over as well....
Me: of course not! It'll be fun!
Carlo: 'Hiro'?
Joy: didn't she tell you? The three of us are best friends! We have been inseparable ever since we first met, and that was around 3 years ago!
Hiroki: honestly , I was pretty shocked when I found out that you and Angeline lived together, yet she never told me...."
Hiro looks at me accusatorially...
Me: I'm sorry! I'm sorry! A lot was going on , besides its not just my fault! You were pretty busy too! So busy that we haven't even been able to talk for the past 3 days!
Hiroki: yikes!.....well I guess we're both at fault so let's make this a truce....
Me: done!
Carlo just watches us in absolute shock
Carlo: but this morning....you were angry when I told you Hiroki found out...and by the way you acted , I couldn't even guess that you knew each other so well!
Me: first off, I wasn't angry....that's why I let you off the hook; second of all, I was honestly pretty surprised when I noticed you talking to Hiroki and I thought that he had already probably told you that we were besties.....
"well he did mention something about coming to your house with Joy.....",Carlo mumbles.
Me:...so i thought that I could take you by surprise by revealing it when everyone came over!
Carlo: .....well I admit, I was surprised! I see that Your acting skills are still as flawless as ever!
Carlo laughs as he says this
Joy: that's our Angeline for you!"
Joy links our arms together.
Hiroki: geez, you never change do you!
Hiro reprimands us , but though his words are stern, his voice is gentle...
'I'm so happy I get to walk home with all 3 of the most important people in my life!
I can't wait for tonight!'
