Carlos pov:
After eating, we clean the table and I offer to wash all the dishes...
Me :You've been through a lot today, so why don't u just relax , while I clean up.
Angeline: no way! You worked so hard to make that delicious meal! The least I could do is clean up!
She looks at me with that familiar stubborn but determined look on her face...
'*Sigh* I see that part of her hasn't changed.....when she gets like this, it's impossible to change her mind...'
I give in to her unwavering will, "fine , fine.....you can wash the dishes, but I'm helping!"
She seems satisfied enough with that answer, so we both pick up all the plates and head to the kitchen.....

5 minutes later.....
Neither of us has said a word since we started washing the dishes...
'I guess she really was bothered by all the things that happened today.....
This silence is getting awkward....Maybe I should say something...'
But Angeline is the first to break the silence,
"The meal was absolutely delicious! I could never manage to make all that food, especially in such a short time! Plus, I still can't believe how you remembered all my favorites!"
"*chuckle* well, thanks! I'm really happy that you enjoyed it! After all, it's the least I can do for my fiancée."
I seem to have caught Angeline off guard as she visibly freezes up...
'Oops.... And just after I reminded myself to go easy on her too!'
We both go silent and The atmosphere once again changes into an awkward one...
This time I'm the one who breaks the silence ....
"I'm sorry, I forgot that you're still not used to the fact that we're engaged..."
Angeline stays quiet, so I continue
"....it's alright, didn't I tell u before that I'd help you get used to it? But ok, for now I'll stop."
The second she hears this Angeline's face seems to light up, but before she can say anything I put an arm around her waist and pull her against me....and while she's still shocked , I use my other hand to push her chin up so that she's facing me....
"....but Im not giving up and I promise that I'll get you to accept me as your fiancée, no matter what!"
I declare this with determination as I look straight into her eyes.....
She immediately starts blushing so hard that even her ears turn red! The second I let her go she averts her gaze from mine.
'.....so cute....'
I can't stop myself from snickering at her reaction...
"Geez.....y-you always did like teasing me."
I stop laughing and I look at her with a very serious expression....
"Look into my eyes right now,and tell me....do I look like I'm joking?"
Angeline forces her gaze to meet mine, she seems to be at a loss for words as she blushes furiously.
'Did I go too far?'
After probably the longest 5 minutes of my life, Angeline finally speaks
"I'm sorry that I wasn't taking ur feelings seriously...since the dishes r done, I'll go back to my room for tonight....thanks for the meal"
She leaves me alone in the kitchen in absolute silence....
'....Yup, I think I went a little too far.'
