Chapter 4 - Divination

"Jiembe huh so that's my new name; I like it. "

It's apperantly that the rules of this world differ greatly from my previous life. I'm certain I saw that doctor guy use some kind of magic that gave me a invigorating feeling. Well since I failed in my old life I can't let this opportunity go to wast, I have a vast knowledge base of a different world and it appears that the breathing techniques I learned actually cause some sort of magical phenomena. I should keep my ability's a secret for now and act like a normal child.

Alkina could sense that something was diffract about this babe as it had an incredibly pensive look on its face.

Che did quick inspection " well it seems as everything as normal besides this brialees inate talent at gathering mana. So I shall take my leave, I'll see y'all later my friends.

As Che and the nursing staff left the house leaving

Alkina and Mokk alone with their little one.

Mokk also had a pensive look when he said" my dear our little Jiembe seems to posses a gift for magic it would be best if we nurture him early on, I have a feeling he is already increadbly intelligent the way he looks around and "inspects" things is already astonishing.

"I know my dear I noticed that as well just now as I held him I could feel his thoughts racing, forming conclusions, and desition marking. I think in about a weeks time once we get settled in I'll ask the high moon priestess to come over and do a divination."

"My new parents appear to be kind people I'll treat them well"

The week as incredibly boring and somewhat embarrassing being 100% helpless and dependent on another person for everything such as bathroom ,food, and cleaning. The only thing that was fun was that when he was alone he would practice firing those glyphs in the air by pulling the magic particles into formation and trying to form a circuit however every time he did so the glyph would dissipate. "I'm missing a crucial part of this magic casting system" Jiembe thought to himself. He kept trying until he got frustrated then he would meditate gathering the pure mana into his body reinforcing his body, he specifically focused on his nerves system he focused on different groups a day so that he would have a stronger foundation to gather and store magical energy in his body.

His breathing became deep and rhythmic, he began to expand his awareness through out his body once he was fully present within himself he gradually moved outward sensing the pure magic energy in the air he then moved his focal point to his spinal cord and began pouring mana into his ascending and descending neural pathways, the reason for this is because all the body's singnals pass through the spine it's the main highway of energy and information transmisiĆ³n if steangthned his ability to gather mana and direct it to other body parts would increase exponentially, as the mana poured into his spinal cord he began to feel his reflexes, body awareness, and the flow of magic increase through his entire body before it became unbalanced he stoped the meditation and let his body get used to the increased flow. He had to be carful if he made his spinal cord gather and send more energy then the other parts of his body could handle he could potentially damage his body.

Right as Jiembe finished his meditation his parents walked in with a tall and dark woman with many different totems and charms all over her, she had a light dark complexion yet had a silver radiance emanating, her presence was mystical and profound and his parents appeared to hold her in reverence.

"Who is this lady she give off such a nice glow, I feel a deep power in her." He thought.

Alkina so this the little brialee who you said has great fortune? Asked Ellin the high moon priestess.

Ellin sent her magical energy into his body and spirit to gain a better understanding of her best friends son.

As the silver glow extended outward and entered Jeimbe he got a intense tickling sensation again and began to giggle then his body began to glow bright with white light.

Ellin gasped and she looked at her friend then at the child with a hint of worship in her gaze.

She stoped the divination as she could feel that she was intruding.

As Mokk and Alkina watched the divination and the sudden change in the high priestess the went that surprised as Akina as one of the lesser moon priestess she could already feel the greatness residing within her child, they looked at Jiembe with extrema pride in their hearts.

There was a moment of silence as Ellin organized her thoughts receiving form the shock.

Mokk was the first to break the slilance as he got impatient and asked" Ellin quickly tell us will his future be bright?

Ellin paused for a moment then said"well as you know the divination is a skill that lets me gaze into the soul, body , and mind of a person then depending on the strength of body, type of soul, and mental fortitude and capacity I can form a educated guess about the future of said individual.

The momment I gazed into you son I felt the presence or blessing of the great god Kurukadi the progenitor of men and hero's. Just with that alone I can say that he his exceptional the last recorded instance was over 100,000 years ago. The information regarding what it could potentially mean has been lost to history. That's just the tip of the iceberg regarding your little one. As I continued to gaze into his being I felt him gazing back into mine filled with curiosity and intrigue. Never in my 180 years has this happened as you know brialee tend to have simple minds and a undeveloped soul and body ,yet as Preformed the divination I felt a deep wisdom rising in his mind and powerful body filled with mana. I can only assume that it has to do with the presence of Kurukadi."

Alkina began to feel worry for her son, If the kingdom leaned about this they might take her son away from her and raise him as a weapon in its wars. " my friend , I think you know how the rest of the kingdom would react if they found out, I hope that we can keep this divination between us." Said Alkina her tone full of concern.

" I understand my friend even though he would be a hero for the kingdom he would live a childhood of hardships, solitude, and constant bloodshed. I think he deserves a normal childhood surrounded by people who love him as well.I'll keep this matter to my self For you and little Jiembe."

With that both Mokk and Alkina thanked their friend and bid her farewell as they both began to wander how to give their child happiness.

Through all this Jeimbe was intrigued by the strange mana of Ellin, the god Kurukadi, and the what kind of world he was in. "I want to give my parents a happy life so I think I'll just enjoy my life with them for a while, I never really had a childhood before so I might as well experience it now. However I'll practice magic at night and when I can walk around enough I'll see if I can find a book or other forms texts to tech my self this worlds writing, history, and magic." He thought to himself.
