The as the months then years flew by, Jiembe spent the majority of his time sleeping, eating, and practicing his magic. He had fortified his entire body through meditation techniques.
Jiembe was sitting in his wooden crib with dragon carvings all around, he had gotten vary used to life as a toddler yet the lack of freedom and mobility was slowly killing him from boredom.
" damn it's been 3 years since I woke of In this new world, yet I still haven't learned a damn thing about what kind of world I'm in except that there's magic." Jiembe thought to himself.
"I wish They would let me walk around and read books or anything.
"After lots of attempts these past years I can finally cast some basic magic , it's nothing special one just has to pick a elemental energy or partial and draw in that elements magic property's then once the magic is within the heart chakra you channel that element either to the hands or eyes then draw the circuit and direct it at something. From what I have learned it seemed that so long as one gathers the mana then draws glyph of one of these elements one can cast magic. "
Jeimbe began drawing with a loe magic the fire glyph with his fire mana eyes then directed it at the candle in the far side of his room and fired.
The circuit turned into a small blue flame that shot out like a bullet instantly Ignited the candle.
He giggled as he felt a rush of happiness spread through his being.
"Finally I'm officially a magic caster in this new and strange world.
From the room adjacent to his parents were sleeping when Alkina woke of suddenly. There was a playful giggle comeing from Jeimbes room. She silently got out of bed and creaked the door open as her bright blue eyes peered inside.
What she saw astounded her.
Little Jiembe was playfully turning a candle on the shelf on the far side of the room on,off, on,off as she watched these magnificent screen, she felt lucky to have been gifted with such a amazing son. Not wanting to disturbed her child she quietly walked back into her room and whispered to Mokk.
" Mokk honey wake up, come on get up there is something you need to see.
As Mokks tiered and ragged face slowly opens his hazel eyes and looked at his wife he asked" Alkina why are you..."
Alkina cut him off by doing a shushing gesture towards her husband. She hurriedly went up to him and whispered in his ear " don't worry it's nothing bad, just quietly get up and come with me. She guided her tiered husband to Jeimbes room told him silently to peak inside without marking to much to much noise.
Mokk stood completely frozen in place peering through the cracked door.Alkina could see his hairs standing up from all the magic energy accumulating in the room, it was dense, more dense than the high moon priestess and she was considered one of the greatest magic casters the kingdoms.
Mokk slowly came back to reality. He silently walked back with Alkina to their room. Once inside they looked at each other with clear disbelief plastered on their faces.
Alkina as always was the first to speak up.
"Jeimbe was playing casting fire magic. I have never seen one so young have such incredible mastery over fire magic."
Mokk listened closely trying to arrange his thoughts in a coherent manner.
"Alkina what should we do as his parents? Should we scold him? Should we teach him? What should we do? Mokk asked with desperation.
Alkina was thinking the same as her husband, how should they handle the fact their 3 year old can use magic?
they both sat in the darkness of the night with only a lantern giving a faint light wandering how to raise their child.
-thud-
Two books fell from their book case. One a history book the other a magic book.
They both stared at the fallen books with wide eyes.
In the room adjacent to his parents
As one could guess earlier when his parents saw him casting magic it didn't escape his notice. He also knew that they would be conflicted as to what to do so he decided to give them a hand
jeimbe began casting a circuit glyph for a wind spell while he used mathematical formulas and his instincts to pinpoint the books he wanted to read, he then activated the the magic a small gust took shape as it slowly and carful blew from his room picking up streangh as the spell curved around the corners, until it was behind the book case at which point the wind split into two miniature jet streams and gently pushed the books out of their place and onto the floor.
Normally Such precise magic casting would require a archmage, yet Jiembe was a master of science mixed with some intuition it was a simple task to nudge two books out of their place
Jeimbe was just giveing his folks a push in the right direction. as he was still really curious as to what kind of world he was in, while also he had been haveing a hard time purely learning magic through trial and error, he really needed to establish knowledge base so that his local intuition could help him learn faster.
There are 3 types of intuition, local intuition is the type of intuition that comes from ones direct experiences, knowledge, and understanding. Non local intuition, the things that you would have no way of knowing since it's outside yourself, an extrem example is knowing that someone you don't know is about to knock on your door or guessing the lottery. Then there is energetic intuition it's the ability to read the room or emotions of the people around you. This is true for his old world and the new one. However it might be that there is a 4th type of intuition in this magical world as he sometimes felt something extra.
(A/N: this part of intuition is actually based off a scientific research paper I read a while back it's really interesting it's called the science of the heart by heart math, if your a fellow man of science like me I highly recommend giving it a look.)
Back in Alkina sand Mokks room.
They were both staring at the fallen books.
Alkina as a moon priestess could sense magic and even see the elements, she clearly saw wind elements gather to the book and nudge them out. It was obvious that the source of the magic was jeimbe. That only made her more astonished, as a experienced mage she knew all to well the complexity of a magic circuit with such accuracy and power modulation requieres to nudge 2 books in a room one wasn't even inside of. Too much power and the books would have flown off and perhaps even made a hole in the wall to little and they wouldn't have even moved. It was easy to read his intentions he clearly wanted them to teach him history and magic.
Alkina spoke up" Mokk I think our little star is telling us that he wants to learn these books" she said with a smile on her face.
Mokk looking at his wife speechless for moment until he finally chuckled lightly as he said" yea it appears that's the case, seems like parenting is easy when ones Brialee can almost tell us what he wants. Starting tomorrow I'll read to him and teach him how to read, I get the feeling that little Jiembe will have no trouble learning. I'll focus on the historical aspect while I think you should teach him magic, what do you say Alkina?"
Alkina gave Mokk loving look, this was one of the reasons she loved him so much he was quick on his feet as he was quick witted. She admired his masculine figure, his dark skin, his curly brown hair that look of determination in his eyes.
Mokk noticed his wife's look, he chuckled again feeling a bit embarrassed as he wandered what he did to have such an astonishing beauty as his wife.
" its a wonderful idea Mokk, we will start tomorrow , for now let's get some rest."
