Chapter 14 - Don't worry, he is still alive

"He's clearly breathing! Don't scare me! Shall we hand him over to the police? He is too suspicious and things might get troublesome later. Not to mention, he is a pervert." Rebecca remarked while continuing to prod him with her shoes, making sure the man is unconscious.

Meifung massaged her temples, thinking aloud with a serious look on her face, "Wait, my brain hurts trying to comprehend the whole situation. How on earth did he healed himself after being diagnosed and dissected? Let's tie him up and leave him in the morgue for now. Can you look after him? I will have to go to the emergency department and get his belongings and maybe get him some clothes since I literally destroyed them."

"Do you remember I still have an analysis to complete Meifung? Let's get a wheelchair to move him in."

"Okay Becky, let's do this together and lock this guy in there for now. Let's meet again at 6pm to decide what to do from there."

After fainting, Indigo's soul astral travelled to a different world- a world dyed in sunset red. With his arms spread, he flew across the clear ocean that occupied three quarter of the planet. Buried under the clear oceans were remnants of ships and buildings. Corals and marine plants were abundant with sparse amount of sea creatures. As if relying on muscle memory, he flew across a wasteland, a dessert with two humanoid figures working in the sewer plant. Not far from it was the slums. Ahead was a towering dark castle, almost reaching the skies. A foreboding feeling warned Indigo to cloaked himself and hide from these dark forces. He saw millions of demons chasing after a single biker. It was safer to ignore as the biker seemed to be in control of the situation. After passing the great desert where familiar camels and Berber tribes settled, he reached a glowing white marble city at midnight when the skies were filled with bright twinkling stars. There were no inhabitants. He moved through the familiar roads and came to a familiar passage way that curved and twisted. The passage way was lined with greek marble statues and renaissance paintings. A stairway appeared, leading him to an open space. A white marble room with no ceiling.

"Hey, we have all been waiting for you. You're finally here. Everyone's been worried ever since you disappeared." A young man's voice spoke out of concern.

"Who are you?" Indigo asked.

"You can't see us. That is the protocol." A deep voice replied.

"I can't recall anything, is this a dream?" Indigo asked again.

"I think this guy has amnesia, a common symptom after the trial. Guys, we should manifest our higher selves so he can recognise us next time."

In silent agreement, deities and gods of various forms manifested themselves, exuding a domineering and all knowing presence.

"God!? Are you guys gods?" Indigo asked meekly.

A child replied, "What? No haha, we are like you. Highly spiritual human beings highly in tuned with the universe. We come from different walks of life and we have different abilities. However, we do have one thing in common; we are all part of the order to extinguish bad things."

"Bad things?" Indigo's memory flashback to the one biker with hoards of demons chasing him.

The woman explained through hindu goddess manifestation., "We all deal with the supernatural. Some people call us mediums, some call us fortune tellers, some of them call us frauds although we aren't, some call us exorcists. All of us have our own ways to exterminate and control supernatural beings. If you are lost, you can always astral travel to find us or contact us through telepathy. Although not all of knows telepathy, some of us are well versed in it and able to register your psychic signature- something like your aura."

"I see. Actually, i am in quite a pickle now. Can someone pick me up from the mortuary?" Indigo asked.

"The mortuary? What have you gotten yourself into? Which hospital are you at? We will send someone there right away." A great white tiger paced around where indigo was, as if surveying his location but shook its head to tell the rest that he could not locate him. "I am unable to locate you. Any master here able to help our comrade?"

"I could tell you which hospital I am at. Will that help?" Indigo said.

"It's too dangerous." A voice echoed through the air. Everyone kept quiet, they know that their higher selves were in tuned with The Voice and they should heed it."

"You can share your psychic connection with me. Just think about the name through your heart. Do not say it out loud." A goddess as black as night communicated to Indigo through her telepathic abilities. In response, Indigo replied, "I am registered as Indigo Richeland at Saint Elizabeth Hospital."

The psychic shared the information with others through her psychic connections. Within a split second, a voice that sounds like Indigo's replied with a grin on his manifestation, "Found you!"
