Shiro : Aah yeah , the School's holiday started , yet I have nothing good to do , my life is the meaning of total emptiness .. I'm single , let alone having no friends is tough for a guy my age . Ugh, what a life , I guess I'll just keep on doing what I usually do , same as every other day , time to tend to my online games addiction.
*He yawns , then sighs , and opens a famous online game of the MMORPG genre*
Author : Wait , that's so cliché isn't it , dammit , matters not these stories seem to be quite well read..
Shiro : Alright then , there it goes , oh there's a world boss raid going on , awsome , time for some of that juicy unique loot .

*Shiro uses a certain app to call his in-game team mates , they absolutely dominate the boss fight , they win after a few clicks and clacks*
Shiro : Hell yeah , I am the absolute lord , victory once again , I love video games so much , they give one limitless options and possibilities , to be whatever they want , wherever they want , this kind of freedom does not exist in the so-called real world , although it is just illusions , it makes me happy and really boosts my self-esteem to be complimented for my skills in the game , only in that world that , I am no longer a loser , it is the absolute best escape tool.
*Shiro streches a bit , yawns and sighs , then proceeds to read the description written under the name of the item*
Shiro : Humm , this is quite peculiar and amazing in the same time , it says here there's and there will always be only one copy of that staff , so glad I ended up owning it , who knows , maybe it would sell for a lot of real life money if I ever am in a pinch , there is one thing more interisting in this description , down here , under the description by a little bit there is a pale writing that says , as bright as the light of day , as dark as a moonless night , the user is promised a different life , shall he ever wish for change . I wonder if this is just a little joke the game master included or some special hidden ability , I did finish every quest in the current game after all , it could be a reward for that. Maybe I will just quickly try the staff on the hardest boss in the game to test its strength .
*He equips the staff , quick and excited , then uses a basic skill* ... *Nothing happened*
Shiro : Huh... I think I have been tricked , all that and for nothing? not a single attack ? this thing is useless , perhaps it is just a vanity item or something , either way it does not matter , it still has the rarity value , I will think of a way to profit from it tomorrow , as for now I am sleepy , I have not been able to sleep for these last few days.
*Shiro yawns a long lazy yawn , then fades to sleep on his single bed*

Shiro : Heh...how long have I been asleep ? *He tries to check out the time on his phone in the darkness* It's still 3:05 at night . Maybe some online friend wants to play a prank on me? but all my team mates went to sleep after the boss fight , and since when do they allow symbols instead of phone numbers or usernames , either way I ought to check this out.
*He opens the message and starts to read it.*
Shiro : *Confused by the message * What is that supposed to mean? Fate? Far and Beyond? Change? Either someone is playing a trick on me or I am going crazy , this is weird as it is the same style of speech as the description on the staff , it is even a bit connected in meaning I noticed , truely very odd . Still I am very curious about where this goes , should I click? what if it is a virus? I do not have any valuable data on my phone anyway , nothing to lose , bring it on , gosh I am considering this lame thing I must be going nuts , but well as the saying says , curiosity killed the cat , but knowledge brought it back to life . * He hesitates a bit then he slowly touches the button on his phone*
